Rob is rude and I am treated like I am an inconvenience. They haven't even done any work I am just requesting a quote. I have been pushed off an blown off for over 2 weeks now. Again haven't even done any work yet. Zero chance I would actually even give them the job if they ever provide a quote.

I would advise against giving Bob Raeker Plumbing Co your business.

A few weeks ago, I called them to arrange getting an estimate for a new water heater. First, the person I spoke to on the phone was rude. Second, they only go to homes to give estimates one weekday morning each week, which is inconvenient. Third, after their representative came out to look at my water heater, I waited many days to receive the email estimate. I finally called them, and spoke with the same guy who came to my home. He said I would have the estimate by the beginning of the next week. The beginning of the next week came and went, and still nothing. Thus, I went to their website and submitted an inquiry there. I still have yet to hear anything, much less receive an estimate, and this was all a few weeks ago.

I have obviously decided on another company, and just wanted to warn you to save you some time and frustration. I'm not usually one to post bad reviews, but I too often see good customer service being a lost art.

Horrible experience!

Requested a very ease service call as follows:

Scope of work was to roll out and just lay on the ground 40-ft. of 1/2"" copper gas line tubing to temporally reconnect a propane tank; Install (3) fittings and (1) splice coupler; Reconnect to the existing tank line.

At maximum 1-hour to perform this scope of work request for a slow tech!

Wow what ended up happening..

Tech showed up with NOTHING he needed to perform and/or complete this service request. Professional company? I say NOT! Tech drove all over town picking up materials and, believe it or not, tools ""which they charged me for"" to complete the service call.

This is where it gets good!! Invoiced me for $ 659.64!

3.5 hours at $95.00/hr. for what should have took under an hour?
Charged for a $ 40.00 service call?
Charged me for 100-ft. of 1/2"" tubing and installed 40-ft.? Over charged for 60-ft. that I didn't get - they kept! $70.40 Charged for $14.10 for a flare tool to do his job? Charged me $ 65.33 for (9) connector/coupler fittings but only installed (3)? Charged me $ 34.23 for Flux Solder to install the (3) connector/coupler fittings? A $5.00 purchase from Home Depot!!
Etc.

Then I got the rude customer service when questioning so I paid what I thought was more than fair $ 483.00 still feeling I got taken advantage of and paid too much. Oh, but it gets better - they then sued me for the $176.88 they said I still owed them... So options were to take a day out of my life to fight these thieves in court or pay the crazy bill and post to all a FAIR WARNING if anyone needs a fair, honest and professional plumber DON'T call Bob Raeker Plumbing!

Terrible place they fixed a tub spout for us. They rigged it with caulk then when it came off after using it about 5 times they wanted me to repay to have them come out. I used a different plumber and he told me they had rigged it up. buyer beware!
