My plumber that works in the South Bay recently retired and I contacted Bob & Marc to see if they could assist with a current and future clients.

My appointment was confirmed for today between 3:30pm and 5pm and this was all done on behalf of our client. We were assured that the technician would be able to make this appointment and scheduled the client and another inspector (physical inspector) at the same time as well.

We just received a call (at 2:45pm for our 3:30pm - 5pm appt window) stating that they would not be sending anyone out to inspect as promised.

Needles to say, this is incredibly unprofessional. Our client is unhappy and we were not even afforded reasonable time to line up another company to provide the service that our client deserves. Do not use Bob & Marc.

I have used Bob & Marc in the past with awesome service. The people that work there from the phone call to the service people are kind, helpful, considerate, and caring people. I feel like they can be trusted and priced fairly. The work is exceptional and on time.

This company was kind enough to give me a second opinion when another company tried to rip me off. I highly recommend them to everyone.

This company is a rip off. I asked for an estimate to replace a bathroom faucet and was given an estimate for 150 (for labor only, faucet was provided by me). However, I was billed 300.
I called the company to complain, and was told that they had to replace something a tubing. How can they replace something else that doubles the estimated amount without my permission??
Caulking leaking toilet cost 200, that's more than replacing a new toilet!!!

Beware. I had found them on Angie's list because of excellent reviews, but few weeks later when I planned to write a review there, found out they were suspended from Angie's list due to suspected fraudulent reviews to improve their ratings.

I was told by this company that to fix our tankless heater I needed to have them clean out the line and install a drainage kit. The plumber did not even touch (no kidding) the heater--I asked how he knew this was the issue, and he said: This is what breaks with this kind. He said the cost would be $750. I had another plumber come, who found out that the line was fine. He fixed the other issue, AND cleaned the line AND put in a drainage kit for 1/2 the cost. Needless to say, if Bob and Marc's had done the job, it would have ended up costing more because that was not what was broken! What a crappy experience to have their guy come over.

Thanks to Bob & Marc Plumbing my tentants are happy as well as I am. They were quick to respond to my call, they have great customer service and very professional and smart staff . As usual, I will definitely be calling them back.

I thought I might have a main sewer line problem and called one of the big chain companies. HUGE mistake. $1300 education for me. Then the high pressure sales job to sell me more. I called these guys the next day for a second opinion. Should have called them first. Very class act. Very courteous and very professional. The ran a camera down the line and told me the straight dope. I did not need to do anything. The line is fine, nothing was needed in the first place. Just need to run a snake down the laundry drain. NEVER use those large chain companies. Call these guys. the last honest plumbers in LA. I will never trust another company. Thank you very much Bob & Marc Plumbing.

What a disaster. Called for a toilet tuning on and off. This guy homes put says toilet needs to be removed and pipe cleaned. How is that possible when you would shake the toilet handle it would make the toilet stop running. He goes into the garage and cuts a three foot by three foot hole in the ceiling puts the toilet back in place and toilet was still running after he left. The bill was $700 I got into a huge argument with owner over the phone and he came back stopped the toilet from running. I gave him $100 and I had to pay $200 getting the dry wall fixed. Beware!

Came home this evening to a backed-up shower and toilette... I called and John showed up within 30 minutes. He went right to work and unclogged whatever it was. I found the service excellent and John was fantastic; professional and terribly friendly. From my experience, I think you would be silly not call Bob & Marc when the need arises. Very quick work and at the right price.

Used them in the past for a snake job, no problems.

Called them for an appointment, when I told the women on the phone I had received one of their coupons, her attitude changed. She asked what time would be good, I stated the morning if possible, she gave me 9am to 11am which was fine with me.

So today at 11:20am no Plumber no call, I called and the same women answered, she asked my name and then told me all her plumbers were on another job, and would I like to reschedule for another day, I guess they were making Good Money somewhere else, she didn't offer another time for today, didn't apologize for the inconvenience, just asked if I wanted to reschedule for another day !!!

I guess their Customer Service when you have a Coupon puts you on the ""Put You Off List""

Believe me I will be telling my friend and neighbors about this one...
