Needed to replace our old water heater. Had three weeks before we were going out of town for an unknown period of time. Based on stellar reviews, I called on Hill, indicating I had a time constraint. The scheduler said she couldn't get anyone here for an estimate right away, so we waited until an estimator was available. On the day he was supposed to show up, the scheduler called and said he had a medical emergency and she could not get anyone here for four days. I reminded her we only had nine days left, so she said the estimator would come on Friday and she would hold a time for installation on Monday, leaving two days cushion. This turned out to be a lie. The estimator comes on Friday and now she says she can't install until Thursday, the day after we leave. The estimator says there are only three guys to do estimates and installations and wonders why he was sent to estimate if they couldn't install anyway. Very bad business practices and deceptive. These people advertise they are open 24/7. Tell me how they can handle emergencies if they can't even handle a simple estimate/install?

Chose this business on the basis of a few positive reviews and I was in desperate need of a leak repair on my garbage disposal. Within an hour, Tom appeared, checked the disposal and said it was kaput! He got a new one from his truck after I agreed to have the disposal replaced. As he began to remove my disposal he discovered that it had been improperly installed, and proceeded to repair & reinstall it. Bottom line is that he could have installed the new one, but his honesty and integrity prevailed and saved me hundreds of dollars. I would definitely contact this business again for future plumbing issues. Ask for Tom!!!

Like I said 9 days ago he will call with some BS story... but I was wrong . He didn't even call me back..... Still Waiting for the Call. Wants to perform work that does not need to be done...please if your reading this GET OTHER ESTIMATES...

Called Bob Hill Plumbing for a leaky shower head. I have used this company several times to replace a hot water heater, outdoor hose bibs and other plumbing jobs. Lee Jarvis was the plumber sent to my house today. He is patient, knowledgeable, and thorough and I recommend him wholeheartedly. He even cleaned up after finishing the job. The 5 star rating is for him!! I have always been very satisfied with Bob Hill Plumbing.....they are efficient, trustworthy and dependable. They show up when they say they will and I've even allowed them access to my home when I wasn't there. The only thing I'm not crazy about, is their new practice of securing a $235 fee on a credit card prior to the plumbers arrival. If I hadn't had great experiences with them in the past, I would have called another company. I understand their reasoning, but $235 up front is a little much. For smaller jobs, the fee may not be worth it.

When replacing bathroom fixtures, there is NO BETTER Place in SWFL. The individual service we got from Rob Hill was just amazing. He educated us on things we would never have known because this is not a project people do often! AT other stores, they just wanted to know what we liked and how much it cost. Here, Rob wanted to know how we were going to use our tub and other fixtures. They have been in business for over 70 years for a reason. They have gorgeous bath fixtures for less than other bigger stores. I can not say enough about the service we received. He spent well over an hour with us and just brainstormed ideas. We will be going back! Another difference between them and other places where you might buy your bath and kitchen supplies, is that they will maintain parts for everything they sell. We had Jado bath fixtures. We called 5 plumbers to get leaking shower fixed. NO ONE could find the parts because Jado (which was a very high end brand) went out of business during COVID. When I happened to mention that to Rob, he said: """"Oh we have Jado parts. Since we've been in business for so long we keep those parts. I will never sell you something that we can't repair eventually, which they always do!"""" What a relief to know before I buy something else!

I am posting a review for my mother (Nancy) and she does not use the internet. Excellent customer experience. There was an issue with her toilet and needed a new one installed. Installation was on time and efficient. Reasonable pricing. Went above and beyond expectations and definately recommends Bob Hill plumbing.

I suspected there was a leak in our 2 year old hot water heater, and had Joe assess our situation. He immediately said we needed to buy a new heater, never mentioning that our existing heater was under warrantee for at least 3 more years! Then, when I asked him about the tankless heaters, which are wall mounted, and a lot smaller, he claimed they cost $5,000. Try $500 Joe! He was suggesting we pay $1,605 for his new heater. Clearly this company is not looking out for the customer's best interest! I will not use these people again!

Hands down the best service. If you are looking for quality and honesty they are top notch. After my purchase from hills Showroom I was more than pleased with every aspect of my experience. Mr hill and his sales team are knowledgeable ,friendly go above and beyond to make sure my fixtures and plumbing were in optimal working order after my purchase, the technician Was so polite and helpful That came to my home to install my fixtures and fix my plumbing, I was sooo happy.. and he took no time at all ,,,, the work was done fast Friendly and to perfection.. I would definitely recommend Hills plumbing to anyone

Bob Hill Plumbing's services are excessive and not competitive in the community. It will cost you $840 to replace and install a water heater. Call around for several quotes for that price the fittings should be made of gold and not copper.

Called to come out to our Condo to fix some plumbing - was UNDERquoted on the phone ($urprise). This after they changed my apt three times in one week, """"tech"""" issues the woman at reception/scheduling said. Right, right. Plumber showed-up, not very friendly, work took longer ($urprise). Then a week later it leaked. We called back on the weekend and get this, NO EMERGENCY OR EVEN OVERNIGHT SERVICE - you're on your own. When we reached dispatch 2 days later on a Monday, it was """"sorry"""" we're very busy and to fix the problem we created, we'll try to get back this week. Four days later the same tech showed, this time very unfriendly, scarred wall so we have to re-drywall and repaint all thanks to his lousy initial approach. Will NOT use these clowns again...
