Replaced joint on sink drain and stop valves. Did a great job, was in and out very quickly, highly recommend.

It started well, he came out and replaced 2 faucets and looked at a leak under the sink. He was supposed to come back the next day to install a spigot in the garage. He was a no call, no show. I called and texted but no response. Also, the leak under the sink wasn't fixed. I would not recommend Mehran.

UPDATE - I'm not calling Mehran dishonest but it's a bit hard to believe since he was to be at my place at 10am. A plumbing issue fix and travel within 2 hours? Also I had the crime reports checked and so far nothing matches that timeframe or area.

Called for estimate on pressure relief valve and main house water valve repair. Three other estimates were ~$1100 but this company estimated $720 so I took the chance and hired them. Turns out there's a single employee (Mehran) in Arlington who's been doing plumbing several years for Bob & Kur but still no license or business truck or uniform or invoice for work completed (hence 4 stars). Nonetheless, he was friendly, good communicator, had full tool set, on time and professional. He looked & talked like he had lots of plumbing experience. The only inconvenience was he had to re-schedule for the next day when he arrived and realized he'd bought the wrong part. The repair looks excellent, the area was left clean and the price was 30% lower than other estimates. Despite the lack of license I'd hire him again.

I connected with Mehran on Yelp and exchanged messages with him over a few days while I checked out all my options for a water heater repair project. I really appreciated his responsiveness and willingness to adjust pricing, accommodate arrive window times, and answer my technical questions. Mehran's workmanship guarantee was among the best I saw. Ultimately, I was constrained by which companies could complete the work and was not able to contract with Bob and Kur. Even when I informed him that I wasn't able to continue with the company, he professionally responded with good platitudes. The five stars reflect my experience with Mehran during the research phase as I reached out to several providers via Yelp, and the hassle-free, respectable conversations. I felt his best offer was very reasonable and reflects the ""budget-friendly"" description on the Bob and Kur Plumbing listing on Yelp.

I spoke to Mehran and he quickly gave me some tips to mitigate the situation until he was able to arrive. He repaired all three issues at the initially quoted price. No fuss or nonsense.
