We had major interior (water damage) and roof damage due to the recent storm. We had a horrible experience with a well-known restoration company, so we were very hesitant during this process of selecting a company we could trust.
The service we received from Boardwalk was amazing from start to finish.
Alfonso and his entire crew were always professional and prompt. The quality of workmen ship was outstanding. All questions and concerns we had were professional handled. Our job was not rushed. It was finished once we were fully satisfied with their work. We have since and will continue to refer Boardwalk to family and friends. Thanks, Alfonso and crew, for putting our house back together.

I had some storm damage to my living room ceiling thanks to the recent Hurricane Hilary. I asked my homeowners insurance company if they had a recommendation and I ended up with Boardwalk Contractors. Absolutely happy that I did! From first contact to the finished product everything was handled very professionally. Alfonso (the Superintendent) was always available via telephone if I had any questions but also came by the house to check on the status of the job quite frequently. The workers that fixed the damage were great. Not only did they do a great job on the construction but they were extremely respectful of our property. My wife and I were so impressed that we hired Boardwalk to remove additional acoustic ceiling and replace it with textured ceiling. It looks absolutely fantastic (hopefully I can post a couple photos soon). I feel that the additional cost that I paid for the additional work was well worth what they charged. I would definitely use Boardwalk Contractors again.

I've used them through my insurance (CIG) twice in the last few years. First to repair the walls and ceilings damaged to repipe after a broken hot water line and recent to repair walls and flooring from roof leaks during Tropical Storm Hillary. They do a very complete job leaving things like the problem never happened. My walls and ceilings were replaced (new drywall) and painted perfectly. When they couldn't repeat the paint that was there, they painted the entire room a new color and did a perfect job. The first time i used them they have to move a cabinet with a lot of delicate items in it. The emptied the cabinet, moved it, repaired the wall, put it back and put back all the items just like they were before. When I came home later, it looked like they magically repaired the wall without moving the cabinet.

For the most recent work done, they also cleaned my carpet in two rooms and replaced the padding in one. They were a little sloppy. When I moved the bed later, the carpet was clearly not cleaned. That would be my only complaint. Overall, excellent work and I would recommend them to anyone, anytime.

Outstanding Performance! Had a leak spring over the holidays and Alfonso and his squad stepped up, knocked it out and stayed in contact. I can be a stickler and a pain in the rear so to speak and they have been nothing but professional and quick to an explanation on any questions or issues that have arisen. Great job! We had a flood from a broken pipe under the sink. The guy that came out for the estimate of what needed to be done was excellent. Alonzo was the supervisor and he was extremely communicated with me. He was on time getting all the products used. Alonzo's crew was on time and prepared for work. They were clean while working and when finished. I give the entire crew an A+. I will use the company for all contracting work I need.

We had a major flood in our kitchen which caused a tremendous amount of damage. I called them the same day, spoke with Brian. He showed his kindness and consideration and came over to inspect the damage himself. He had his crew at the house the same day. I was amazed at how responsive and quickly they came. They minimized the damage, immediately got to work and restored my kitchen as good as new. They handled all the headaches of insurance for us as well. I would highly recommend them to anyone and wouldn't hesitate about having such an amazing company fix any damage that might come your way.

I recently had a flood from an upstairs bathroom, which impacted the downstairs drywall, flooring, ceiling and bathroom upstairs. I highly recommend Boardwalk Contractors. The job was completed on time and the results far exceeded my expectations. Jose was the Project Supervisor and has exceptional customer service skills. I was kept informed and the end result is beautiful. Great Job!!!!

I've been paying this company $1,000 a check , if not more, and lately it's been weekly yet they continually call me threatening me with a lien on my house if I don't pay the balance in full. My husband is deployed and they did the repairs on my kitchen (and just found out they did a shitty job on installing my dishwasher back in) and our remaining balance can't be more than $3,000 and I'm paying them weekly with $1,000 checks! They ALSO LIED saying my husband agreed to pay in full (which either they are lying or my husband is lying and he seriously doubt it's the latter) which he said he NEVER said.
Please, go far away from this company. Their staff are unprofessional, the owner doesn't know how to run a business and they go around trying to ruin lives by making threats to put a lien on my house WHEN WE HAVE BEEN PAYING REGULARLY. Stay far away from this company, unless you want to go through financial distress even when you are paying then and then lie about it.
You should be ashaamed of yourselves Boardwalk!!!!

Boardwalk Contractors does not stand behind their work! They remodeled my kitchen 2 years ago and the granite countertop now has a clear crack in it. I called and their technician came out to look at it and told me that a crack in that area is common... They refused to rectify the problem despite the countertop still being under warranty. There are too many reputable companies out there... do not give Boardwalk your business. You will regret it. They do not stand behind their work.

Jose Fernandez worked on my dad's house and garage in Granada Hills due to a horrible fire and what an amazing job he and his crew did for us... I never had a problem getting ahold of him for any request and he always was there on time to do all the repairs. I would highly recommend him and this company to get your repairs done. I will use him in the future for some painting that needs to be done at my home in the future as well.
