We are in a condo and the HOA sent a plumber out to look at a clogged drain. Their plumber was not able to get the snake into the line and recommended that we replace the pipes behind the wall - a costly and inconvenient solution that would entail removing the built in vanity, counter and mirror and would require drywall repair after the piping was replaced. We called BlueTorch and the owner, Richard, personally came out. First, he recognized the problem when we talked on the phone. Second, he came out on time, same day, within a couple of hours. Third, he shined a flashlight down the pipe and confirmed that rust had blocked the line. Where the first plumber failed, Richard succeeded. He will now be our go-to plumber anytime we have any plumbing needs. Price was very reasonable, too. Kudos for a job well done. Excellent plumber.

Super honest! At our referral Richard came to my daughter's new condo to quote items the home inspector had called out that needed to be fixed..he told us no repairs needed and did not even charge for the call! This review is long overdue. Called Bluetorch to help our clogged sink and he was on time, efficient, and reasonably priced! I also used him to replace our garbage disposal, same story - efficient and reasonably priced. Won't hesitate to call him again!

Richard was amazing!
After one plumber couldn't unclog our drain after hours of trying, Richard did it in 30 minutes! Not only did he come to our Little Italy apartment on short notice, he was very friendly and knowledgeable, took the time to draw out a diagram to explain what was going on, checked on a neighbor's apartment that was also having problems (so he could better fix ours), and even cleaned/disinfected our sinks for us! Talk about going above and beyond.

Apparently downtown high rises are his specialty. We are never calling another plumber again!

Richard of Bluetorch plumbing is the man! A lot of plumbers won't snake the downtown high rise sinks and he does. He called 30 minutes before to remind me showed up on time and the cost was cheaper then two other companies I called. Professional, priced right and friendly I will definitely use rich again.
