I've used Ron several times for plumbing jobs and he has always been great to work with and did excellent work. Ron replaced my AC and furnace a couple of weeks ago and as usual he did excellent work and was very professional. Also very fair price. I would recommend him over and over.

Looking Out For The City ..

I thought I would go with another plumber for once because I had been using Dauenhauer before. I made a call at 9:15 a.m. today and it went to voicemail. Ron states that this business is a small business and delays may be possible, which may be a reason he is unable to answer the phone. That is fair. The business is transparent at least to let one know wait times.

My split AC system stopped working. The owner of Bluegrass Rooter shows up and he troubleshot multiple things before arriving at the fact the compressor was shot and needed to be replaced. A second company came out and literally looked at my unit and said I needed a new system. Bluegrass Rooter now has a lifelong customer. Any plumbing or AC problems will go to Bluegrass Rooter Plumbing.

I called Ron first thing in the morning for a shower that wouldn't turn off. He got to us in the afternoon and fixed it in no time. His price was very reasonable. I can definitely recommend him and would use his services again.

It was apparent within seconds of entering our kitchen that Ron was experienced. Leaks from our faucet prompted me to have a new one installed and while Ron showed great care, it was still done swiftly. Absolutely excellent! I called Bluegrass Rooter after another company couldn't come out when it promised. I'm so glad they canceled! I called Ron Derington at Bluegrass Rooter and he came out the next day.

He also saved me thousands of dollars. The prior company was going to overcharge me for stuff I didn't need. Ron diagnosed the problem quickly and fixed it the same day. Granted, this was an easy small fix. Your problem may be much different.

But call Bluegrass Rooter first! You won't be disappointed. And you can be secure in that you're getting great work done by a professional at a fair price.

Early Saturday morning I discovered water flooding the laundry room of my significant other's townhouse and realized the water heater was leaking. I turned off the water supply rendering the condo with no water. Now what? Who do I call in Lexington, a town I'm not that familiar with much.

She called her sister in Versailles but her recommendation of a past plumber she had used previously was closed for the weekend. So I did a search on Yelp first, skipping over a couple of plumbers with some not so good reviews and found Bluegrass advertised as being 24/7 and Shonda C.'s review listed first. She is in my friends list and I trust her reviews. I also saw photo's of the business owner and his family, plus some of his past work, indicating to me I was looking at an honest man. But to be sure, I utilized BBB for a background check and found zero complaints in the past year, an A+ rating and that they were BBB Accredited. So I gave them a call.

Ron answered the phone at 7:52 am on a Saturday. This was a huge indicator to me I was going to be doing business with a good company. He told me he had one customer ahead of me but that he would be over between 11:30-12:30 and that he would call thirty minutes ahead of time to let me know he was on his way. He called me back at 10:26 am and arrived in 15 minutes. He assessed the work to be done, quoted a price, then left to pick up a new water heater and associated parts & pieces and arrived back around an hour later. I doubled checked with my sister, who owns five houses, on his quoted price and found he came in little bit less than her prediction.

Ron and his son, who was helping him, installed a new water heater, and upgraded the water pipes and gas line, along with new valves on both, to meet today's codes. He completed the work in two and a half hours. We were completely 100% satisfied with the work, his timeliness, consideration of cleanliness and knowledge of his trade. Would not hesitate to call him again for any plumbing needs.
