Our pricing structure is based on time and materials (T&M) or upfront pricing, depending on the job. Most plumbing repairs are usually finished in one to three hours, though some tasks may need more extensive work.
Due to our comprehensive service history, we can analyze your problem against our past experiences to determine an average upfront price that is advantageous for you.
In cases where an upfront price of $170 is quoted for a job that may only take an hour of time and materials, resulting in a lower cost for the customer, this means that upfront pricing isn't always the best option.
While you will know your total cost upfront, this may not represent the best value for your money. Using both time and materials pricing alongside upfront pricing will ensure you receive the best value. An upfront price doesn't necessarily mean it's the cheapest.

If I could give them zero stars I would. This is me writing my first review EVER and I was inspired to do so because they took advantage of my patience and their customer service was so bad. I made a service request through American Home Shield in May of 2021, which I had to pay for a service request fee, and they connected me with Blue Water Plumbing. 2 months after making the request and making phone calls to schedule an appointment, David (the owner) finally came to my home, took a look at the obviously old and non functioning water heater and said he will put in an order and wait for approval through AHS. Again, weeks and months went by. I waited, called, and kept getting the run around. I'd call weekly or every other week because I hate to be a bother and someone would always say they'd call back once they get more information but never do. So I contacted American Home Shield directly, and they told me that since 30 days has passed with no updates on the request (meaning that David never even bothered with putting a request for approval), that there was nothing they can do and I couldn't even be reimbursed. So I paid a service request fee for nothing and that is the consequence of being extremely patient with these people. I guess I should have called every waking day to get their butts out here but I didn't because I am a reasonable person. AHS even called the company and the administrator Stephanie lied and said that there's no record of anyone coming to my home. If David didn't want to bother with my request then he should have just said so from the beginning because I would have gladly changed vendors which could have saved me money and time, which he has wasted both.

Dave and his crew are super motivated and get the job done right. I've used Blue Water several times and they have always fixed any problems and solved them. I recommend them out of any plumbing business here.

Doug was here quick to resolve my gas line leak. He completed the repair in less than an hour. Honest and upfront! I will hire him again.

Since we only have the one bathroom Blue Water sent someone the same day and took care of our problem. Had called several other companies and couldn't get any of them for several days.

Took them longer to get our home done that it should have and communication was not good, but it's done now and looks great. If you decide to use them, just make sure you have a wide breadth of time that the work can get done. As far as the actual work, flawless every time.

Crooks! Gave them a deposit of $1700.00 to hook up to sewers in March of 2017. As of April of this year the job had not been started. I understand they were hit by a hurricane but they had the deposit for over 6 months before the hurricane hit. We are selling the property because we weren't able to replace mobile home and the new buyers don't want to use Blue Water. They are not refunding any of the deposit they have had for over a year. I can understand if they kept the money it cost for permits and even a cancellation fee. DEFINITELY think twice before you do business with this company!

We drove down to the keys on a Saturday and our water was off. They did not hesitate to come right away and fix the problem. Thank you Brianne! Highly recommend

Today I had blue water for a home warranty repair and had some extra work done as well. Although, I have not received my bill yet, I can honestly say the professionalism, work ethic and integrity I witnessed today on top of of an awesome job in under two hours left me blown away. As locals we recognize how transient businesses are. I am so pleased there are still local businesses that strive to maintain excellence all around. The work done today was so spot on I know I have a plumber in the keys worth the service call and money. Thank You David!

Being a general contractor, price is an element, but a priority for us is that the job gets done correctly the first time, and that the bid is accurate. I have heard too many times that the bid did not anticipate circumstances, and that is an element with any construction project, but I will say that whenever Dave has sent over any changes, they are legitimate, and truly unforseeable, while whenever we use other plumbers, the change orders are items that should have been seen in the initial walk thru. I have used Blue Water many times, and always found them to be fair, intelligent, and ethical-all things that count for more than """"cheap"""".
