There was a water leak coming up through the sidewalk in front of my house. I had a couple of guys come out and dig on both sides of the sidewalk and they found that the leak was not sprinkler piping but in fact the water line from the main to the house. And now with the leak detected, I called Blue Star for an estimate for repair. Kevin Orr from Blue Star showed up and spent a lot of time walking my front yard and talking about various aspects of water lines and their material make-up. He asked a few questions to ascertain my level of plumbing knowledge, and when he was satisfied with my lack thereof, proceeded to upsell the job. His bid for the job was 1800, and the next day two guys showed up and replaced a 6' section of PVC pipe under the sidewalk... It took them about 2 hours. Material and labor should have been well under 500 dollars. I was smoothly led to believe this would be an involved piece of work, all the while Kevin knew that it would be a simple and fast job. And to make matters worse they gave no warranty on their work.

Bumped up to four stars. After seeing my review, the company reached out to me and offered to correct the work. After the work was rectified, they sent photos showing the piping strapped correctly

I called Blue Star to replace my old toilet for a New one.
My husband had already removed the Old one.
They came out and the Bid was $650 to REPLACE a toilet??!!
ARE YOU KIDDING ME?
I work for a home builder, so I know this is REALLY wrong for pricing.
He was telling me all this stuff that must scare other people I knew it was
just a tactic to get business.
I had to pay the $49.99 for service fee to Turn Down that insane price and send him away.
I will NEVER call them again and definitely let people know that they price gouge and are NOT Honest plumbers.
I contacted another plumber (Masters Touch) and the cost was $230 they did a GREAT job!! They were booked up but found a way to schedule me in for that Same day. I will be using them moving forward. They are HONEST and FAIR. Ask for Bob or Eric!!

This company sucks &$$!
My kitchen sink had fallen through off the granite counter top and had them come out for an estimate. To either fix the sink (seal it back in place) or to install a new one was the same price- over $2500!
Yes, over $2500 to put the original sink back up or to install a new one. And that's if I bought the sink. And then they have the balls to change me $50 just to come out and tell me that crap. I guess they are so over priced that is the only way they can make money.
POS - stay away from here.

DO NOT HIRE THESE PLUMBERS. I needed a new valve on the cold water line for the washer and didn't have time to do it so I called them. Two guys showed up 40 minutes late looked at the job and then quoted me $500 plus the 49$ service fee. When I said that was ridiculous they said they could give me a 30$ coupon and waive the service fee. I paid their service fee and told them that I didn't need their services. Got it my wrenches and replaced it with a 14$ valve from Lowe's.

Originally contacted Hedrick's Service Now to repair a water leak inside a wall behind the hot water tank. I agreed to the quote and repeatedly called trying to schedule the repair. I gave up on them after several days of no show and called Blue Star Plumbing. They showed up on time, repaired the leak and installed a new water heater with new copper connections and emergency drain. Great job, very disciplined and knowledgeable staff. I highly recommend.

Nathan and Dillan came out and did an excellent job within one day of being called over. A simple request to install a new shower handle only took a couple of hours and they will return to put the remaining pieces on when the tile is repaired. Would definitely recommend

Let's face it, everybody hates to have plumbing problems. But when you do, you need to know whomever you call will fix the problem. It also matters a great deal that the company be one you can trust. Well, on both fronts - competency and integrity - Blue Star Plumbing is the best there is. I have been using them for years and can always count on them to do the job right.

The value and quality of work for my service was poor. Blue Star charged me $650 total for work they completed within 15 minutes. The plumber justified this prior to starting the work by using scare tactics stating they may need to engage a third party for brick repair. The plumber informed me afterward that the part they replaced I could buy retail for $45. Finally after completion of the work they left my water meter open while the temperatures were below freezing.

Update: I just called hired Blue Star Plumbing for a second time and they were outstanding again! They called me within 2 hours of submitting my request through my home warranty company. They were very accommodating to my schedule and we picked a good time.
The technician arrived within the scheduled window and called 25 minutes ahead to let me know he's coming. The technician was very polite and courteous. I was extremely impressed with how quickly he completed the work. It took 15 minutes from the time he arrived to the time he left. He diagnosed the issue, turned off the water to the house, drained the lines, replaced an old worn out shut off valve behind the toilet, replaced a leaky fill valve inside the toilet, turned all the water back on, and checked everything. I was very amazing how he did all of this in just 15 minutes. He obviously knew what he was doing.
Overall I'm extremely pleased with my both my calls to Blue Star Plumbing. I would highly recommend them!
