We had Blue River Plumbing install 2 hot water heaters, an expansion tank and replace whole house humidifier in 2017. Blue River had the lowest bid and Dallas was our plumber. Dallas did great job and was professional and conscientious of his work. When I called them in May, 2018, I was told Dallas was no longer employed by Blue River. I wanted to get a proposal to install an owner furnished garbage disposal as well as some other plumbing work. I got 3 estimates and Blue River was 3x higher than the other two proposals. Was disappointed I had to find another plumber, but happy with Flush Plumbing and glad I found an honest and dependable plumber.

I had a previous quote from a well known company to repair a toilet,sink faucet & tub faucet. I thought it was VERY high. A co worker recommended Blue River. The owner stopped by on his way to the office to give me a quote. It was $2k less! Plus, I was getting new not repaired. They came back in 2 days did the entire job in 1 day. I will use them again & have already recommended to a friend.

We hired this company after another person didn't show up twice in a row. I'm so thankful to give them our business instead. We had a problem with our boiler heater and Trevors came out to repair the issue. He was very friendly, thorough, punctual and a great communicator. He actually showed up early to do a quick evaluation while on his way back from a nearby job. While the problem ended up being a bigger job than I expected I was very happy that he took the time to show me what happened and why it ended up being more work. He also checked in before starting anything to give me an idea of what was going on and how much it was going to cost so that there weren't any huge surprises when it was done. He worked quickly and I was very happy with the project from beginning to end. The company is very professional and I highly recommend them!

After several successful home repairs today, including 2 sink drain clean outs, I turned my attention to the leaky valve in the shower. Two trips to Lowe's (forgot valve seats) and I was reassembling my valve with completely new innards. What I didn't tell you is that the valve was a bear to open, having been crusted shut after 22 years of use. Turns out that little extra tweaking during my disassembly popped a couple of seals (soldered) on the back of the old valve, rendering it dead, broken, inoperative.

I was about to call the old plumber I'd had out before. When it occurred to me to check Yelp first. I found my old plumber awash in a sea of bad reviews. :(

Going by Yelp reviews and the desire to support small local business, I chose Blue River. Now I called them at 3:30 in the afternoon and was told I'd have a plumber out in about an hour. I was a little skeptical... I was pleasantly surprised when they stayed true to their estimate. Dallas arrived at 4:30, had a look and confirmed that I needed a new valve. Since his supply house was closed, I asked if it was okay to run over to Lowe's to pick up a new valve. He actually *waited* for me to run to Lowe's, which I did in just under 20 minutes round trip. But hold on, it gets better! Dallas was a little concerned about fit, extra cost for cutting holes, you name it, this was looking ugly. Not only did he get the new valve to fit, not only did he not have to chop holes, not only did he do a pro job sweating the new valve in place... he did all this in just *under* an hour! No leaks and we have water tonight! (I had to turn the whole house off after I busted the old valve.)

I should also mention the great communication. A pleasant lady answered right away and accurately recorded my info. Dallas called me when he was 9 minutes away to let me know he was inbound. They have this text (on your mobile) feature that lets you know exactly what they are doing. 100% A+ on comms!

Thank you Dallas for the excellent and professional work at the end of the day! Thank you Blue River for the great response and for fixing our problem within THREE hours of my call. That's first contact to problem SOLVED in less than 3 hours! Wow.

Seriously, they are absolutely the best. We had two major leaks in our main drainage line due to settling of the floor. We didn't notice until late evening on a Friday. My wife called blue river and they had someone here in an hour or so. He repaired the leak in a couple of hours for a very reasonable price. Then, the next night, we noticed water on the floor and found yet another leak (now on a Saturday night at 8:00). We called blue river and they sent over another expert plumber who fixed it temporarily until they can come put in an expansion joint to permanently fix the problem. Didn't charge us for the temporary fix. Both Brayden and Dallas were professional and knew exactly what they were doing. Use these guys, you won't be disappointed!

WOW... what great service. The receptionist was fabulous to work with on getting a tech to come to the rescue --same day. She was so kind and calming. My tenants had a plugged up kitchen sink that was just awful! Brayden was the tech and he was confident that he could fix my issue with the machine-- rotor rooter. The price is the price and there are NO hidden charges... no matter how much time it would take, it was $195. BEWARE of those companies that charge by the hour or foot... the price can be deceiving! RARELY can a drain be unclogged for $99.
And, Brayden uncovered an issue with my dishwasher which didn't require more than removing a plug, but he fixed in as a courtesy. OK, my mother had never used the dishwasher, but my new tenants might have and then it would have been a disaster! Water would have been uncontrollably flowing out from under the sink!

Moved into a new place and immediately noticed a gas leak. After running through the hoops of fire department and black hills, I called Blue River. They got Dallas out to me in under an hour even though it was a Saturday. Dallas was able to find the leak in the wall and fix it that day!! Not only did he get though job done but he was very personable and explained what he was doing. I highly recommend Blue River and Dallas!

Had a busted pipe and our basement was flooded. Brayden came over, spent several hours explaining/fixing the pipe. I would highly recommend this company. They even provided solid references for drywall/carpet repair. Thank you Blue River!!
