Jack H.Easy peasy. Good Covid-19 practices, On time, quick turnaround. In & out in under 2 hours. Not cheap, but couldn't ask for better service.
Julie D.They showed up on time. Called ahead, managed the repair and cleaned up before they left. There is some repair now that needs to happen at the site and I thought it was a bit pricey, over 500 for a wall mounted toilet ring, but needed it to get fixed right away and they were very professional and had great follow up!!
Would call them again!!
Brooke F.These guys are the best. Showed up on time and got my issue fixed quickly! Thank you and I'll be in touch if I need you again!
Marc L.Our experience with this company thus far is one of the best we've had with a Trade vendor. I had noticed the distinctive Blue Planet (BPP) truck when we first moved to AVL, and looked them up several years ago. I was impressed enough to put them in my contact list for future reference. Our home is a relatively new build, so haven't had problems, but we began to notice an intermittent hum in our water pipes and wondered if it could be due to a water pressure problem. We decided this would be a good time to check out a plumber in a non-emergent situation. BPP has a very good web interface; using it, I sent a message describing my issue and received a call that day (from Tori) who set me up for a visit later that week. It was explained to me that (Matthew) would be coming out to look at our setup and discuss any concerns I had. They send you a text, including the technician's photo when they are en route. He was great to work with, and we discussed several things besides our initial concern, and the relative merits of addressing these items. Received quotes for all the things we discussed that day, one of which was to replace the pressure regulator - which was upgraded from plastic to brass, along with installation of a pressure valve. We also arranged for descaling of our on-demand water heater, (it turns out, long overdue) and replacing the fabric hoses on our washer to a higher quality hose. We also signed up for their service plan. All this work was performed in one call within a week by (Jayson). We were very pleased with their work and interactions with them. A day after the call, I noticed that the hoses on the washer might have been reversed. Visualizing the back of the washer was difficult, so I could see how that might have happened. I called to ask if they could come back and confirm that was the case. They were here the next day and fixed that. Everything was great. And then .... it got better. Several days later I received a call from (Georg) the founder of the company. He had been looking over some of the photos that are routinely taken during the course of a service call and he had noticed (in fact, had been alerted to this by Jayson and/or Matthew) what might have been an issue with the venting of the water heater. This is totally unrelated to the work that they had performed. He asked me to take and send several more photos of the vent area so he could further evaluate the installation. I sent them to him and he called a short time later to see that everything was up-to-snuff. I'm not quite sure what more anyone could expect from a Trade vendor. Thanks to Blue Planet. Highly recommended. BTW - should mention that all Covid-19 precautions were strictly adhered to.
Grace M.Blue Planet Plumbing has been my dedicated plumber throughout an extensive home renovation that started over 2 years ago when we moved to Asheville. They have been AMAZING! Matthew, Katti, Georg, and the whole crew are top notch all around.
Matthew has done everything from Day 1 of our renovation...from replacing multiple toilets (even relocating one of them), replacing a sink, installed a brand new pressure tank, installing a garbage disposal, fixing our rusted out / busted washer valves, and many other repairs needed throughout the reno. They'll be replacing the water heater and more!
Most recently, my 7 yr old son thought it would be a great idea to play with his gem mining toy and clog up one of our sinks with sand, fully taking it out of commission. Matthew was just here today and had it fixed like new in no time.
I also recommended them to my sister for a repair she needed and she was very impressed and happy with their work.
The professionalism, customer service, quality of work, and responsiveness is hands down the best. No one else in the area can compare, and I'll be a loyal customer to this team for life. I'm about to start another renovation and looking forward to working with them on that as well. HIGHLY recommended, and I couldn't be more thrilled with Blue Planet Plumbing!
Susan W.Georg has saved me on more than one occasion with his plumbing skills. From water pressure reduction valve replacements at my business . (And let me tell you sometimes those can be a bear to tackle) to hidden fun water leaks in the ground ( in freezing cold weather). He has always guaranteed his work and followed up to maKe sure everything was okay days later. He is patient, persistent, skilled and responsive. I trust him to take care of all my plumbing needs. He is great with communication via text. Not your typical plumber. He treats his job like a craft. You can trust he will get the job done when needed and correctly.
We needed to have an undermount sink and garbage disposal installed in our kitchen. After reading the positive reviews we had them come out to look a the job. We were quoted $1600.00 of which $600 was to remove the old sink. We mentioned it seemed high and they immediately reduced the quote by $200.00. We didn't accept the quote and I removed the old sink in under an hour. Needless to say we went a different direction and had to whole project done for a quarter of the price.
Linzy M.These guys are fantastic to work with. Excellent customer service and very professional. Fixed our issues in a timely and affordable manner. Will def use again!
Yesterday was my second event with Blue Planet Plumbing. Couldn't say enough good about both. First was the hot water tank compression tank replacement and the second was three leaking toilets and one faucet. Both visits were taken care of quickly, efficiently and with great clarification as to the issues. Couldn't be happier with their work, integrity, clear identification of each situation and recommended solutions. The employees are polite, friendly - but not wasting time, and clearly identifying the issues. Regrading the toilets leaking, gave me information on contacting the City of Asheville water for credit! Highly recommend!
Katie F.I had my water heater , and compression tank replaced, and a waterline put in for our refrigerator. Absolutely hands down the best service I have Ever had. Respectful, they will explain everything to you honestly. I had to run out the door to pick up my child unexpectedly, I had no reservations about leaving them in my home alone. Local , owned a big plus. Your business is important to them and they make you feel that way!
