They try to sell you services before they even enter your home to look at your problem. Made my problem worst. Had a slow draining tub and sink and when they left nothing would drain. Water was coming up from the base of the toilet. Told me it would be $320 to run a camera and hydro something on top of the $210 they were charging me to come out and try unclogging it because they needed to use a different machine. Tried to explain himself how he wasn't allowed to go on top of the roof but did it anyway. I contacted their office to ask for a manager or owner and no call back. Just lost $210 for nothing. Money I could of used for Christmas but instead gave it to some money hungry company! They wouldn't even give me a quote over the phone. Their website says they use a camera to find the problem for free. When I asked the guy after he tried to unclog it he said no it's not free. That's where he wanted to charge me $320 more to do.mTheir web site also says they give you a call after their services and to this day no call..their website is full of lies. The only reason I called them in the first place was because of their good reviews. Now I know not to trust reviews. Worst experience ever!

I called for a quote and left specific instructions to call me on my cell. Yep, you guessed it they called the wrong house number I called them twice to give them my cell. They did not call me back after waiting 2 hours I decided to give them this rating. They are a waste of time!.

I can not say enough good things about this company! What a breath of fresh air :-) We have been through so much with our sewer pipes, we constantly kept getting backed up and at the same time we were being charged an arm and a leg to unclog every time. Thousands of dollars later my husband and I decided that enough was enough and that we needed to fix this issue and be done with it. We decided to call 2 companies to have them come out and give us an estimate. We first called Rooter Hero which was a complete rip of! NEVER CALL THEM!!! They wanted to charge us $15K for replacing the pipes from the bathroom to the front lawn (only)....I nearly fainted when I heard that number. So when Blue Planet (Joshua and his crew) stopped by we didn't have much expectations except we were hoping to save a few thousand....well we ended up saving $7K by using them!!! They didn't cut any corners and it was clear that we had made the right decision. We are thrilled with the job they have performed! The crew completed the job in under 3 days and on the second day, they stayed until 11pm to finish the job so that I would not have to sleep in a hotel. Not only were they able to provide exceptional service but now I can breathe easy! Thanks Joshua & crew, you guys were excellent!!!

Joshua from Blue Planet came to my house to give me an estimate to unclog my patio drain. I had one other estimate and although Joshua's price was higher, he said he would match the lower price in hopes of getting my future business. He also guaranteed that he would unplug the drain or there would be no charge, something the other company wouldn't do. I had previously had a rooter company try and fail to open up the pipe, but Joshua said they used a high pressure hose to do the job. I was skeptical. Long story short, they came out two days later and unclogged the drain in a little over an hour. During the rain storm this week it performed perfectly.

A couple months ago I had a unit in my complex with a backed up sink. After calling numerous places Blue Planet was the only company that had time to come out. I directed him to the sink and he 'fix' the problem. The bill came out to $210 for a snake that eventually didn't even solve the issue. He then told me that because the sink didn't have a strainer he couldn't put a warranty on it. Is that even true? I wish he would have told me that in the first place cause then I would have gone with someone else.

Joshua at Blue Planet is great. A pipe broke in our condo and he came and fixed the pipe. He was very helpful, explained everything and went above and beyond by fixing the pipe through an already cut hole (albeit small) than tearing out more things to reach the pipe more easily. Highly recommended.

Recently our rental property was turning over and we thought we'd have the drains cleaned as a preventative measure. Not knowing anyone in the area a Google search showed Blue Planet had good reviews so we called them out. Manny from Blue Planet came out and was happy to clear the drains for us and he ran a camera down the main line which revealed roots in out main line. To keep a long story short, we discovered other plumbing related issues in this 62 year old Clairemont house and had Blue Planet take care of them all. They aren't the cheapest plumbing company around but we felt Manny was a straight shooter with us. Manny and his crew worked very hard, knew what they were doing and were respectful of us and our property. We will call on them again.

Called at 1 p.m., tech on site at 2:00 p.m. Brian was great. Fixed our leak under the house, and then returned to unclog our sink aerator when we thought something was wrong with his repair. Nothing wrong. Great job, great service, great attitude and reasonable price! Recommended!

I found Blue Planet Drains and Plumbing by accident. Scouring the Internet, and searching for positive reviews, was actually quite easy! I was on my over to our new home, and needed my new refrigerator hooked up.

This morning I sent a request on one those service websites, and within a few minutes, I got a call. And even though the call came in before 8 am, I was thrilled to hear from Alma. She took my information, and I was driving toward my new residence, when I got the call. Aaron was available! I couldn't believe my good luck.The plumber (Aaron) was waiting at my home when I arrived. This is unheard of in this day and age.

Usually, you get those ugly notices telling us, we missed our appt. It was pleasant, to say the least, and Aaron proved himself to be knowledgeable, professional, careful, and educational in letting me know what he was doing, and why. I was very comfortable and secure. It was obvious!, this guy knows his stuff!.

Anyway, the fee charged was reasonable, the service-responsibly done, and professionally, I WILL call again!. This is one company who has earned my respect! Thank you, Blue Planet! And THANK YOU, Aaron!, K Ryan, Rancho Bernardo

Was looking on yelp the other day for a plumber cut my mother-in-law's toilet got backed up. My mother-in-law has a senior person and she doesn't like to go with handyman type plumbers so blue planet plumbing came up on yelp they had great reviews and they advertised eight $89 special.

My mother-in-law's kind a shy around people so I had to wait for the plumber which was great because the plumber showed up five minutes before the appointment time. His name was Brian he was very courteous he was in and out in 20 minutes and the price did not change from what was quoted on the phone.


I highly recommend these guys Brian keep up the good work.
