Ask for Mike. A pipe broke under my house and I got three estimates for the repair. Blue Planet's wasn't the cheapest, but two things really impressed me. Mike showed up on time and ready to crawl under the house to really looked at what the job involved - on a 95-year-old house, that's important because he had enough information to get to a solid plan and an accurate final cost. (At one point, I had three big guys from a big plumbing operation who wouldn't go under the house and estimated on the fly!)
He stayed in touch with the sewage clean up crew and came to work on it the first day it was safe, worked steadily and got us up and running. Mike showed me pictures of the work, including using the best straps. He removed the old pipes from the crawl space, told me about what he saw under there - a broken beam, and cleaned up.
And, when I was needlessly worried the next week, he came back to check the work. He has a pocketful of resources for the work he doesn't do - someone to patch the stucco, clean up the sewage, etc.
And he's a genuinely nice guy who leaves you feeling he does his best for customers.
Helpful. On time. Ready to work. Thorough. Communicates well. Cleans up. Extra resources. Fair pricing.

Our family has used Blue Planet previously to replace our water heater and based on our great experience then we came back for help with a long list of needs. Today Abraham replaced our main valve supplying water into the house, our water pressure regulator, and the valves for each bathroom. Abraham was professional and very patient with my questions and concerns. We appreciate his skill and expertise and when the time comes for more help we will be back again. Blue Planet installed two toilets for us. Diana was efficient in setting up the appointments and answered all of our questions. Anthony (tech) came on time, completed the work and it was A+ quality. I would not hesitate to call Blue Planet again!

We had leaks from unknown sources, and thanks to finding these guys the last time around, we had the right guy on top of it in no time. It looked bad, and he could've signed us up for a lot more, but Yukio made quick work of replacing the tap set in our mid-century shower and even made it look good again with minimal tile damage & a repair plate in just a half day's work. So grateful we have Blue Planet on call!

Blue planet helped me out with a sink installation and the service was top notch.

I've noticed that when I've had plumbing issues in San Diego, it's difficult to get companies to answer the phone, let alone come give a quote. Blue Planet was immediately responsive, and sent one of their best, Abraham, out to my home first thing the next morning.

Abraham was very friendly and respectful of our desire to be masked in the home, and he helped us with a sink installation that, let's just say was best left to the professionals!

Overall I was satisfied with how everything went, and I will reach out to Blue Planet in the future for my plumbing needs. The reason I gave 4 stars is that I think we were quoted a higher price than the work merited. Long story short, initially it appeared that it would require 2 to people to get the job done. The second person that showed up was a trainee and mostly observed Abraham.

That being said, another reason I'm going to stick with Blue Planet is that when I noticed a minor aesthetic issue with the sink, I called the same night of the install to ask for help. Abraham came back first thing in the morning to make it right, no extra charge. I really appreciated that, and, I think it's indicative of the quality of work that Blue Planet does.

If I could give minus stars I would. I called them for a plumbing emergency. They fixed the emergency with my wife home, then quoted us $1250 for something else which may be cause of issue. We turmed it down. Got a quote somewhere else for the exact same work for $325. Stay away from these people that take advantage of women.

Our storm drains were clogged to the point where I thought the only way to fix them would be with a Jack hammer, destroying our deck together to them. We tried a regular plumbing company (Anderson) and they used a snake with no results. They said the roots were so bad that the drain was useless.

2 years later I called Blue Planet and they sent Abraham. He was polite and knowledgeable and he had the drains cleared within an hour. It was amazing. The hydro jet took care of it. No Jack hammering, no damage. It was a complete success.

I highly recommend Blue Planet and Abraham.

I was so impressed with this company! I was having issues with the water pressure at my house. They were able to send out a service tech the same day! The service tech Mike was very friendly and knowledgably. He clearly explained the problem, the work needed to fix it, and the cost. He was able to restore the water pressure in the entire house better than it has ever been since I've been living here. I would definitely use their services in the future, should I have other plumbing issues. Thank you Blue Planet!

Absolutely fantastic company when it comes to workmanship and customer service! We recently bought a house and found out our sewer drains were in much worse condition that we thought and all needed to be replaced. It was a big project and sounded like a headache as new homeowners but we are so glad that we went with Blue Planet.

Mike and his coworker Ricardo (?) were great the entire time. They showed up early each day, worked hard, made sure we had water connected by the end of each day, and always cleaned up before they left. They always gave us updates about what was happening and what they finished each day. One of the reasons we opted to use this company was because of the trenchless repair, which they did really well (and hauled away the extra dirt at the end too!). We had other work being done on the house at the same time which they were able to work their schedule around, which we appreciated so much. They were also very mindful and worked really well around our dogs, which was awesome!

All in all, both my husband and I highly recommend this company and wish we could give them more than 5 stars! They made a problem that felt like it was going to be awful dealing with pretty painless in the end!
