Blue Planet came out to repair a service main to my daughter's and son-in-laws home. They said the pipe was no longer made and an entire line was needed from the main and redirected over the garage into the house, etc. Turns out the pipe was not ""out of date"" and had the break repaired by another plumber. Referred by homeadvisor.com.

The staff at Blue Planet Drains and Plumbing absolutely deserve five stars. Alma in customer service, was very friendly and helpful. She called to schedule a repair for a water leak, and helped me by coordinating this in a timely manner. One of their plumbers, Brian, also deserves to be mentioned, because he was able to detect and fix the leak quickly and efficiently.

Horrible service, not even close to be called plumbers as they seem to know nothing, and they charge extremely high compared to others. called them to change a kitchen faucet. the next day I found out it is leaking, called them again. another guy came in and when asked him about the guy who installed the faucet he said he is no longer working here, this guy didn't even know what is going on and so he left. I called again, and a new guy came and when I asked him about the other two guys he said they both no longer working here.... hmmmm.... it seems to be a trick they use to around. this guy also didn't know what is going on and asked me to buy a new faucet!

I will stay away from these guys.

I am an apartment manager of a 12 unit complex. Had an weekend emergency and contacted Blue Planet. After meeting with the plumber who assessed the leak and bid the job, which we agreed to the terms. The plumber did not arrive on the job until after nine pm, at the time of signing the contact he ensured us that he was able to complete the job before nights end. At one am we receive a call from the plumber stating he would need to return the next morning. When the plumber arrived the next day at 12:30, remember the water has been off for over twenty four hours at this point, the plumber now is stating to complete the job it will now be twice the amount that the original contact was signed for.

We called Blue Planet for a leaking hose bib (faucet)
and they came out spent all day, kept having to leave to get other parts.
In the end they broke my shut off valve and wanted 300$ to fix it.
Told them that was not right the guy called the boss and she said to leave if I didn't want to pay. So they left me with a broken shut off valve and still leaking hose bib.
worst experience with a plumber ever.
Do not use them!!!!!!!!

Don't know who is writing all these complimentary reviews but this company is bad news! I had the first guy gave me a warranty on fixing an auto flush on a toilet because he didn't replace the flapper or flush mechanism. Sure enough his fix didn't work. When I called back 2 weeks later he was no longer with the company so they sent someone else. He tried to turn a simple replacement of a couple of parts into a major construction project. I showed him the door. There are plenty of reputable companies out there--pay attention to this review, Ilyana's and the others from real customers-- and call a different company.

Worst plumbing and drain company -- total amateurs in setting up and keeping appointments. They failed to show up in first arranged time slot, set another time slot and they failed again, and then I agreed to one more time slot -- guess what? they never showed up.

I know there is a lot of distrust out there for plumbers so if you need a job to do and worried, look no further. I highly recommend Blue Planet Drains & Plumbing. We had a leak behind the wall in our kitchen and were freaking out since it was the weekend and it was high pressure leak.

I looked on Yelp and found Blue Planet Drains & Plumbing and gave them a call... I am so glad I did. They advised they were very busy but they could have someone at our house by 3:00pm. The Service Technician (Marco Valdouinos) showed up at our house shortly before 3:00pm and was extremely professional and courteous. He explained in detail what needed to be done to fix the leak and what it would cost. He was very open about their cost structure so I did not feel as though we were getting cheated or anything.

The water line that needed to be repaired was made of special material which he did not have available in his truck and since it was the weekend it would be Monday before he could repair the line. He did offer to put a patch in place and return Monday morning 9:00am to repair it. We agreed and he put a patch on the line and within 20 minutes and was on his way.

He arrived at our house at 9:00am and again was extremely professional and courteous. He shut off the water and within 1/2 hour the line was repaired and he began to clean up and was on his way.

I would highly recommend Blue Planet Drains & Plumbing to my friends and family. If you do call on them ask for Marco... he is a good guy

Very satisfied with Blue Planet! Not only did they show up on time but they showed up earlier than their estimated arrival, and called me in advanced to make sure that was okay. Marco showed up and greeted me in a very friendly fashion and explained what the problem was and the best cost effective way to correct it. I agreed to his assessment and he fixed the entire problem within an hour. Now my bathtub and shower don't leak anymore. The guy's a pro! Friendly, fast, and efficient, with very competitive pricing. Will definitely use their service again when needed!

Hector at Blue Planet is awesome! He came out to give an estimate for an unknown leak and did such a good job explaining everything that we went ahead and had him do the repairs. He was super patient and even took the time to explain how to fix small things ourselves. When there was a misunderstanding over the work order, he went ahead and took care of the problem. We will definitely ask for him the next time we have a plumbing problem!
