Please note that this [extremely negative] review is for Blue Mtn Plumbing in Sequin TX--there is another company with the same name in DFW. We had a pinhole leak in the supply line pipe to the hot water recirculation pump. Our home warranty company assigned us to Blue Mountain Plumbing. They set an appointment, then cancelled the day before w/o explanation, rescheduling us 2 days later. They were late to that one, but to their credit, kept us informed of the delay via text (they don't answer their phone). The plumber was initially helpful and informative. He said he could fix the pipe. Then he said he would need to replace the recirculation pump, as the hole was "too close" to it. Then he told me he would also need to replace the hot water heater, which was "too old." Then he added all the fittings and supply lines to the hot water heater, b/c he "doesn't like to use them more than once" (never been a problem in the past). Then he went into my yard and asked about a shovel, b/c he wanted to see if we needed a new pressure regulator for the entire house. I challenged him [politely at first] on each these added repairs, and he kept telling me repeatedly that he "was a licensed, bonded plumber" (something a competent professional never seems to have the need to say). After he started digging around my yard, I told he wouldn't be doing any work in my house, regardless of whether he was trying to rip off me or the warranty company. I contacted the warranty company and asked for someone else, who came out and replaced the 2" section of affected pipe in under an hour.

In April 2024, We had a technician out to diagnose why our master bath had low flow and wasn't hot. He claimed it was a cartridge issue, he would order it and come back to install. It is now September 2024, after calling them once a month, I have given up that they will ever come to resolve our issue. Every time I call, they claim the part has been ordered, but it was some how lost in transit. THREE TIMES now. DO NOT USE this plumbing company, you will not have a good experience.

Consumer beware! This company was used as part of home warranty. They came promptly, diagnosed the problem then nothing! Litterally a month now, multiple calls, texts and emails and poor response. Involved the warranty company to get a response and still not fixed.
Try not to use them if you can!​

bad company service.
the only reason I used them is because of the home warranty.

paid over $2600 for a water heater that every one install for $1400,

the breaker tripped and they didn't bother to check.

water temperature is 100 degrees Fahrenheit and they claim it is something else. I fid have this problem before .

Whom ever you sent out Jake came in wanting the service fee 25.00 then he told me he didn't have a leak then when I showed him the leak he said it was the air conditioner then I said why is the water hot he said it was because it was hot outside he never actually look then I kept questioning him he said oh I hear a leak I don't think he knew what he was doing I k ow the pipe I showed him is not from the air conditioner. I am so disappointed either you all I would not recommend you to anyone. I meant to say 75.00 service fee

Unfortunately, we CANNOT recommend this company. The initial visit did not go well as they did not come when scheduled. We kept calling, and they kept changing their arrival time -- three times. Finally, at 9:00 pm they showed up. They were unable to complete the work and said they would be back to finish it the following morning. This was days ago and they have not returned. After many phone calls, they still do not have us on the schedule to complete the work. We have a big hole in our wall! This is definitely not a good way to run a business!d

I had all my faucets changed out. The p-traps were cleaned out, all soap scum cleaned out, etc. In one faucet, the sewer gas smell kept coming through the sink. I spoke with Choice Home Warranty, and they said the smell is not covered; however, this would be covered as it is an issue with the plumbing. Blue Mountain responded and saw my comments on the sewage line smell, not algae, mold, or mildew, but sewage. Two men showed up, one with the credit card machine in hand, and they told me that they had read the comments and knew it would not be covered. They asked if I was paying by check or credit card, making it clear that they did not intend to honor the service call and address the problem. They were rude and condescending, and I felt used and lied to for an easy service fee. They refused to address the issue and respond to my email and phone call. They told Choice Warranty noise is not covered. Noise? My claim has nothing to do with noise.
