They had the wrong number on file and failed to contact me the day of service and cancelled that days service without telling me. I had given the correct number when I called to make the appointment. I waited during the allotted time they had sent me via email and on their portal. I kept checking the tracking status of it and it never changed, it continued to say ""Scheduled for July 14th 2-4pm"". It was already past that time so I called and that's when they told me they cancelled for today bc they couldn't in touch with me. BUT THEY HAD THE WRONG NUMBER. Even after I gave then the correct one. They lady was completely unapologetic and failed to take any accountability or try to help. Will be going elsewhere.

Friendly receptionist, arrived on time, pleasant staff. But, horribly overpriced. They charged $683. for a pressure valve regulator replacement, which took under an hour to complete. Price for the part is under $80. at Lowes. That's over $600. for labor! Plus they charge a $100. fee just to come on your property (which is not charged if they do any work, so it really is included in their labor charges). They do not itemize or break down their fees. I regret not getting several estimates by phone, but was impressed by their website and friendly reception--thinking they were a reputable company. Never again, and will not recommend to anyone. They respond quickly but you'll pay dearly for it. Overcharged for parts(like $300 for a &70 part). I would avoid them if I were you

I can't even explain how wonderful this company is. I have to give the office staff a five star service, which is so rare these days. (Thank you Donna and staff) I can't even tell you how wonderful our technician, Jared Deaver is. He is a very talented, considerate, polite young man, who let us know exactly what was going on. He worked on the weekend, with help only for a few hours one day. He never complained about how hard it was installing both a new air conditioner and new furnace. I watched this young man crawl under the deck to uninstall the old air conditioner, and install a new one, in a different spot, per regulations. He filled all the holes so outside bugs etc, couldn't get in. He cleaned up and hauled away all the trash, etc. I would recommend Jared Deaver to anyone who needs a wonderful technician to either to repair or replace your air conditioner or heating units! Not many young people have the manners this young man has. He has made many trips to get everything perfect, and know if I need anything, he would come back. without complaining! Rare company service in the day where most companies don't communicate or follow thru! Thank you!

Happy customer in New Hope area!

Blue Mountain Plumbing Heating Cooling is a dishonest company and usurps customers. They tell you problems that your system does not have in an attempt to usurp you. Not knowing their reputation, we brought them to fix a minor problem, but they listed non-existing problems and quoted us 15 times the fee that we eventually ended up paying to another vendor to get the problem fixed. Imagine being asked to pay $1500 for something that cost $100. They are this much unfair, exploitative and bad.

Besides, they require a pre-submission of a credit card before visiting you. Don't do it. They would abuse your card and steal money from your account.

I will start off saying the staff is friendly. BUT! being a new homeowner with absolutely no experience with a broken ac system they definitely took advantage. Charged $1000 more than anyone else and had us sign a work authorization without explaining that there was a hefty fee to cancel. Plus they were going to make us go 3 weeks without a working unit. definitely get a second opinion on pricing if you call them and don't sign anything unless you're 100% sure they're who you want to do the job!

Owner was very aggressive in any attempted conversation. He would not listen to, or answer questions, and he used foul language. His service person tried to upsell a job to the extent of thousands of dollars. When service was declined, owner continued to badger and was very disrespectful. I suggest looking elsewhere for any plumbing or HVAC needs.

Beware! Beware! Beware! Beware!

A Gas Leak Repair gone wrong from so-called ""Professionals"".

Stay away from Blue Mountain Plumbing, Heating & Cooling in Fishersville, VA. On May 5, 2020 they came in to fix a small Gas Leak in the Basement - replace a Pipe with a new flexible Pipe. Two Techs and a Helper. When done we were told we were all set; the new Pipe was in place; they tested everything - we were good to go. The smell of Gas would dissipate soon.

Instead they made the Leak worse! Part of the Pipe replacement required 4 Fittings. 3 of the 4 Fittings were still loose and 1 of them was put on by Hand only! Instead of the Gas dissipating it was building up in the House. With the Weather chilly we had the Heat on and the Windows closed. We went to bed that Night believing all was good. We were sleeping in a time-bomb. With all the Windows closed, how long does it take for the House to build up with Gas before it explodes?

My Wife & I are Senior Citizens. My Wife is a Stroke victim; a Lung Cancer survivor; a Type-2 Diabetic; on a list of Medications; half Blind; along with other preexisting conditions. We are adhering to the Stay at Home Order from the Governor - so our traveling is minimal.

The next morning 15+ hours later my Wife is complaining of Headaches and having problems with her remaining vision. I give her Tylenol and began to closely monitor her movements. I'm thinking she is having another Stroke. Instead - it's the Gas filling up in the House.

After Breakfast we go to the Store for a gallon of Milk. We walk into the House and it the smell of Gas is overwhelming.

I immediately called Blue Mountain because less than 24-hours ago they told us we were okay. They sent a Tech over right away. I shut the Heat off and opened all the Doors & Windows. The Tech that came over informed me of what the Team the day before did not do. This Tech told me that 3 of the 4 Fittings were leaking. That is a 75% failure rate! They also did not perform Soap Test which is the final step needed when installing a new Gas line.

I called Donna at Blue Mountain insisting on a refund. We paid $1,457.74 for a Service poorly performed. The House could have blown up with us in it. Donna offered a $100 credit to our Account and a free Maintenance Contract for 2-years on Heating & A/C. Blue Mountain has no intentions of any Cash refund! Per Donna "".... we did the work....""and when you called, I sent a Tech right over! Donna was coming across as if she was doing us a favor! I see it more like there was a major Liability in the making. She needed to get a Tech over to make sure the House did not blow up with fatalities possible.

They have our Money and they plan to keep it. We have our Lives and we will never use them again. Donna can keep her 2-Year free Maintenance Offer! Unacceptable and insulting!

This is not the company to contact if you are looking for ethical and honest plumbing repair service. Yes, I agreed to the $380 price on the proposal; however, I did not realize it would take less than 20 minutes and a $20 part. That makes the hourly rate pushing about $1000. When I realized how simple the task had been, I contacted the office manger; she was totally uninterested in the injustice in the charge. After thinking more about it, I attempted to contact the owner to discuss a possible price adjustment for the complicated free service provided; I suppose he too is uninterested. He did not return either of my two calls. Now, understand the if the office manager and the owner are not interested in hearing the concerns of a ""repeat"" customer, you are best to take your business elsewhere. I am hopeful this post protects others from the same extremely expensive and poor customer service I received; just find another plumber....reputable plumbers do exist....this company is not one of them.

This establishment charges a healthy fee to respond to each request for service. Each visit is an additional fee. After 7 wasted visits, this establishment misdiagnosed my heating solution. The answer was ""your system is toast"". Eventually, I was quoted a ridiculously outrageous price. Three weeks later - with single digit temperatures, still no heat and another wasted visit, it turned out to be a $200 part to ""fix"" my system. That ""solution"" lasted three weeks.
Fortunately there are genuinely honest/local competitors that provide quality diagnosis and repair at attainable pricing for quality solutions. Guess what, they DO NOT charge service call fees.
My experience and suggestion is to shop around. Do not be price gauged and manipulated into accepting this type of ""customer service"". You have local options that provide solid solutions.
