Had issues with appointment scheduling, Mother in law had two toilets changed out and leak fixed on faucet. Owner contacted after poor review, would speak with plumber about scheduling issue. Stated would review cost of repairs. Will try again.

Rod was hands down the most helpful person in this field I have come across. He spent as much time as it took to help me out and answered every question (I had a lot of them) I had about my filtration system. He systematically walked me through my problem and I can't say enough good things about this company. If we still all ran our companies like this, America would be a far better place! Rod and Craig did a great job installing the water treatment system I wanted. The installation was rather difficult since the main water line is in a drop ceiling in my town home's garage next to a sprinkler and bunch of gas lines but Rod and Craig really took the time to do the installation correct instead of just rushing through it.

Not So Great the Second Time

Made an appointment to have tankless water heater flushed and to snake a drain that did not quite get cleared well on the first appt. Technician was supposed to be here at 11 am, but at 11:30 he was not. Called him and he said ""I forgot"". He was then supposed to call to reschedule and it has been 2 weeks and he has not.

They are as good as it gets! Came out to my house, spent at least a half hour going over what I wanted, offering suggestions on the tankless water heater I was interested in. I did my homework and Rod was right on...He gave me options, and explained completely what needed to be done..gas lines, evap line, drain, etc.. Gave me a fair quote...was extremely nice. Did an outstanding job on my Eternal Hybrid install....showed up on time..cleaned up all the mess...Can not say enough nice things about this wonderful company. Did what they said and exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend them for any and all your plumbing issues.

Blue Island Plumbing installed my whole house water filter and softener about 2 years ago. The system works GREAT and Rod did an excellent job in installing the system well beyond my expectations. He created a bypass loop that would allow me to replace the filter without having to shutoff water to the house. I would highly recommend Blue Island Plumbing... They are professional, courteous and take the time to explain what they are doing. Best plumber I've ever done business with!!!

We experienced a drain blockage in our guest bathroom. (No pressure from the wife to get if fixed so our guests wouldn't be inconvenienced, of course....!!!) Tried all the typical stuff but soon realized in was in the drain pipe in the wall. I placed a call to Blue Island Plumbing and expected that I'd be forking over some major dollars for a weekend ""emergency"" call. By the time Rod called back (cell phone technology created the delay) I had decided to try my luck with a snake through a rooftop plumbing vent, which is what I expected them to do anyway. Not only was Rod understanding and applied ZERO pressure to ""let the professionals do it"", he actually gave me encouragement and offered some pointers for any future minor plumbing blockages. Try that with the ""big guys""...!!!

We've used Rod and Craig for years and wouldn't think of going to anyone else for our plumbing needs. And, no, I really DON'T want to take any more of their business away via do-it-yourself projects. I fully understand that I'm getting what I pay for and I would really rather let the pros do it for me. At least I know it'll get done right...!!

I met with Rod in 3/2012. After considering several whole house water softener system, I decided to go with Blue Island Plumbing, citrus salt free system. He was straightforward. Provided me with the info I needed, came to my house and installed the system. Great service. Cleaned up afterwards. The water system works great and after using it for 3 months, I am extremely pleased with everything. This business is highly recommended.
