We got to our cabin after being gone a week & found soot on the outside of our water heater and I had puddles on my bathroom floors due to leaks under our bathroom sinks. I called Jon at Blue Dot because he had great reviews on both Yelp & Nextdoor. So glad I did, he was able to come by within a couple of hours even though he was busy. Really nice guy & he took care of all our issues. What he charged was very reasonable too. I will definitely use him again & recommend him to all of our friends in the area.

He communicate well through the day, arrived when he said he would, was kind Courteous and professional. He also excepts flexible forms of payment such as cash check or even PayPal. We recently decided to replace a very old wall-mounted sink with a pedestal sink in our Tahoe City vacation house. I selected the sink and fixtures myself and searched on line for a plumber and quotes for installation. I sent photos and specs of current and new by email to several prospects. Two never responded, one did and never followed up with specifics. Jon responded quickly and was great from beginning to end. He not only was able to assess the situation from what I provided and give me an accurate estimate by email (assuming my measurements were right and there was a solid anchor behind the wall where it needed to be), but he ordered everything from his supplier up there and had it all within a week. We weren't able to get up there for several weeks after that but he never pressured me or looked for a deposit or payment for the items he picked up. When we did set up the installation appointment, he came right on time, did a great job, the price was the same or even slightly less than originally estimated, and left the place clean. He was also a very nice guy! It is hard to get work planned and arranged remotely but I am glad I found a plumber who knows how to do this right. We are very happy with this experience, will use Jon again and are comfortable recommending him to anybody else needing similar service.

Jon did a great job replacing a sump pump which was making loud grinding noises underneath our Tahoe City place. He responded quickly even though he was extremely busy.
The scheduled diagnosis and repair dates were done on schedule. As we weren't able to be in town for the diagnosis or replacement we haven't yet had a chance to meet him.

We live in, and sometimes Airbnb, our West Shore cabin. I've used Jon several times and am always happy. Most recently, my guest called me while I was in Idaho and said the hot water heater was emitting a loud high pitched whine. I called Jon and he fixed it and my guests are happy. He first had to troubleshoot the tank temp/pressure valve, and it ended up being the water main regulator in the crawl space. Will definitely use Blue Dot next time.

Johnny is great! I had an underground whole house water shut-off valve that was leaking and I had to turn off all water to the house. I had house guests that were not happy. I called Blue? Dot in the morning and Johnny came out within the hour to assess the job. He went and got all the necessary parts and was back within an hour. He had the whole job completed? along with a couple other repairs I needed within a couple hours after that. His prices are good and his quality of work is excellent!
