He made a convenient spot for me on his calendar. He contacted me the day before to make sure we were both in sync, showed up on time, and efficiently completed the job I hired him for.

I am a senior citizen whom has problems finding competent help on normal days of the week; however, when I had a plumbing backup on a weekend, shortly after a recent freeze, I immediately received a reasonable quote range, via Yelp, from Rick Hanemann at Blue Dane Plumbing Services.
Rick also extended me the same day service within a 3 hour time window. He did show up very close to the time limit, with a warm greeting, smile and apology for cutting so close; however, he immediately assessed the problem, went to work and fixed my backup. He double checked everything to assure it was cleared; and, settled up for the lower end of his quote range, even extending me a ""seniors"" discount. I was not only thankful for all he did; but asked him to quote me on some future projects, when funds and time allows. I definitely recommend him; and will use him again.

I literally was just bemoaning the fact that we needed a plumber to a friend because I'm so used to them not being reliable, on top of that, insanely expensive. It is what it is and when you need one you need one.

And if this is you and you live in the greater New Orleans area, Blue Dane Plumbing will change your mind about plumbers. I feel so fortunate that we found Rick because he gave us a very reasonable estimate for the work that we needed done (yay, Request a Quote, one of the best features on Yelp) AND he was able to give us a same day appointment on top of that!

He was in and out in no time at all for this job and what was the nicest surprise was the fact that because the job entailed less than expected, it cost less than the original quote. Nice, right?

And he likes pets!

I guess I won't fear the need to call a plumber ever again.

A job well done! I didn't think I could afford to get my garbage disposal replaced because it would be to expensive but Rick's price was well below the other companies. He was professional, fast, and courteous. He even put all my under the sink chemicals back that I took out. Will definitely hire him again for my bathroom remodel.

I had a few plumbing issues that needed fixing...a leaking bathroom faucet, leaking tub and washing machine pipe. I searched Yelp and a few recommendations came up. I checked some of the reviews and 2 companies stood out to me. Blue Dane had the most recent good reviews and I decided to go with them. The communication was very good from initial contact to the end of the project which I liked. Showed up on time introduced himself and went straight to work. Frederick was very efficient and knowledgeable. He hasn't been in business for long but has years of experience. To me, honestly what I paid seemed pricey but for the work that was done maybe not. I don't know the cost of plumbing repairs but the quality of work was great. Frederick stayed around a while to make sure everything was working properly before he left. Had to tweak a few things but all is well now. He cleaned up afterwards. For the plumbing repairs he did for me I would recommend. The communication and quick responses alone would make me a repeat customer.

the service was untouchable. we had some septic issues at 2am and I was able to text him and get a response first thing that morning and he was out there to fix the issue with in the hour.

The price we paid wasn't super crazy which also helps when having someone come out on a Sunday. he will be my new plumber for my rentals and my person home going forward!!!!
