I had an issue with a leak which I told them I believed was coming from the shower membrane in the master bathroom. They said there would be a $65 service charge to inspect which I thought was reasonable. I was not home at the time of the inspection. After the inspection the plumber said that it was indeed coming from the shower membrane and that there were no leaking pipes. He said that this was not a plumbing issue. I received a bill for $130.00 to find out something I already knew. The increase price was due to """"further inspection"""". Really? Beware of using this company as I'm sure everything leads to a further inspection. Plus, the company is just down the road from my residence. Its not like there are any travel costs to get to my place. The fact that I told them what the problem was ahead of time should not have to lead to """"further inspection"""". I will never consider them again. Update: The company stepped up and did the right thing by refunding my money. I give them credit for stepping up and making things right

Called and told them I had a plumbing emergency. Explained the problem and the call taker told me to try and avoid using any bathrooms/kitchen and said their soonest appointment was 4 days later. Can't wait that long to shower or use the bathroom. I found someone else able to come out the same day.

Tried to get a quote appt. for a bath remodel. First time was on a Tues at 1pm- I didn't get home from work until 12:30 and noticed they had called. When I called back they said they would have to reschedule since I wasn't home earlier. They did not give me a window of time they gave me 1pm so that's what I planned for. I rescheduled for later in the week for a 9am appt. I was walking my dog at 8:30 and got home again to see they had called. The guys said he was just confirming before he left from James Island to Mount Pleasant. I told him there was no way he was going to be here by 9am as promised, he was rude at this point so I decided to cancel the appt. if you cannot be here when promised either give a window time frame or let the customer know your not going to be on time - and don't be rude to a potential new customer that's just common sense, needless to say I will not be using this company and do not recommend them.

I run construction business in Mt. Pleasant. Blitch Plumbing has done a number of jobs for me. They are very professional and show up on time! Peter has been my technician on a few jobs recently and I would highly recommend him!

I highly recommend Blitch Plumbing. We recently had an issue with our kitchen sink clogging past the trap. We couldn't get it unclogged ourselves, so we called Blitch Plumbing. Our service representative was punctual, kind, and knowledgeable. He fixed the clog, made sure everything ran well, and was sure to clean up after himself. Their work is high-quality, and I wouldn't go with anyone else.

I called Blitch in a panic after seeing an unusually high water bill. The sent someone out within a few days, and he was able to easily identify the problem and fixed it within an hour. He was kind, professional, and got the job done! Our water bill went back to normal proving that he was able to identify and fix the issue. Thank you!!

Beyond overpriced. Charged us extra to walk up the driveway, even though they would have been allowed to park if they had asked or would have warned us. Personally, I wouldn't use them again.

I called Blitch concerning a leaking shower valve in the last week of July and an technician came out a couple of days later. He spent less than 10 minutes in the house and stated he couldn't fix it he needed to order a cartridge and may have to come back and saw off the valve handle, then left, but not before presenting me with a $144.00 bill for 10 minutes in which he did nothing (also I later learned that this diagnostic charge would not be deducted from the overall bill.) A week later they called to come back for the repair and said there would be a &197.50 charge in addition to the previous $144. A different technician came with the valve cartridge and could not disassemble the valve (no charge this time) and stated he may have to cut the valve handle off so he needed to order one. About a week later they called again and stated that they could not match the oil rubbed bronze finish on the valve handle but could get a chrome or brushed nickel finish and the bill would now be $287 in addition to the initial $144. At this point I cancelled everything with them and they could not seem to understand why I was upset that it was taking over a month to fix a shower valve leak at at cost of $431.00 Plus whatever else they could come up with to increase the bill, to get a non professional not matched handle on the shower. I don't mind paying for service and repairs, but this is over the top. I could fix it with duct tape, chewing gum and bailing wire and make it unmatch and gaudy looking. I hope others have had better luck but I won't be calling them again.

I've used Blitch for a variety of plumbing services. They were recommended to me by another plumber. They have been able to find the issues when other plumbers have not ranging from hot water not coming out of shower (ended up being just an issue of the pressure restrictor that can simply pull out--not the pipes or heater) and a sump pump. When there were issues with the pump months down the line, Blitch came over right away and didn't charge anything for fixing the issue. They are good at customer service. They may not be the cheapest but sometimes quality matters more.
