When your furnace dies and it's single digits temperature outside and you have a rental house with a family of six living there, with four children. I call that an emergency.

This was a non-reparable situation where the furnace was at end of life and would have posed a carbon monoxide risk if it were to continue to run... it's replacement was mandatory.

I called several places.
Blissfield Heating and Plumbing responded the fastest, provided heaters electric heaters to keep the residents warm until the repair could have been made. It went down to 6° that night!

The very next morning they were there with a new furnace and it was installed in a matter of hours.

I am very pleased with how this was handled in every aspect from beginning to end.

And I'm the kind of guy that has zero tolerance for incompetence, but I didn't find any here.

DJ was super helpful when he came to fix a water issue on a Saturday afternoon. He talked us through the problem and helped us come up with a plan going forward. I chose BPH after they repaired our furnace and we had a great experience. I highly recommend BPH for all your heating and plumbing needs ;)

Good thing I wasn't in a hurry. Website said they'd respond within 48 hours, but two WEEKS later, I still didn't hear back from them.

Although this company was very good about accommodating us and installing our central air quickly, they didn't do what they promised. Like any normal human being you get quotes from multiple company's. A competitor gave us a better quote (a more efficient unit and lower price) with company B's unit we would get 2 rebates; one being a tax rebate and the other being a rebate from our local energy co. The owner of BHAP matched company B's quote and promised to give us the same necessary unit to redeem rebates... they didn't. They gave us the less efficient unit so that we were paying more for less and were unable to redeem rebates. The owner didn't even blink an eye or return any of our phone calls. Later, our furnace blower (that they were supposed to replace with the CA unit) went out. We called to see if it was under warranty only to find out they never replaced it. All in all, they are very dishonest, reception is extremely rude and unhelpful, and prices are ridiculous. ( we replaced the motor for 1/3 of the price they gave us.) Not recommended, call someone else to get what you really want and need!
