Like that they wore the mask. Everything was fine. I was especially appreciative that they fixed my water heater instead of telling me I needed a new one. So appreciated their honesty. They were very courteous and experienced. Thanks.
No complaints Ron and Jason were in and out in less than a half hour. Always courteous and respectful. Thanks again.

My water heater blew. The Plummer from Blessing came over and gave me a quote for at least $2,000 to install a new water heater, just a tank and labor - I knew this price was outrageous as a new 40 gallon (40,000 BTU) water heater is only $600. I went through Home Depot and had it professionally installed. The new water heater was $700 after tax with a two year factory full replacement warranty, a nine year tank warrant and I paid an extra $60 for a an extended five year full coverage and replacement warrant through Home Depot from date of purchase. Not only was the Plummer not only a professional but he was a master Plummer and completed the job in an hour flat for $400 ($1,100 total). Sooo Blessing was going to charge me $700 for a new water heater, $300 in parts/ permits and $1,000 for an hours worth of work to total $2,000. I saved $800 by shopping around before using these guys.
Mary E.I DO NOT TRUST this company. We had called them to look at the furnace because of new clicking this year. The guy came, he was nice. Took apart the furnace. Told me the motor was off track. I specifically asked if the motor could be manipulated and put back on track. He said no that he thought it would make it worse. Then he tells me that we have a crack in the heat exchanger. Takes a picture and shows me it. Also, he sends me the picture after as well. Tells me to replace the motor that it would be about $635, and he can't quote me on the heat exchanger at this time (but I would get a quote soon). However, to replace both these things, it is recommended I just buy a new furnace because it would be near the same price and our furnace is 21yrs old. He reports that he has to turn the furnace off because it is a hazard with a cracked heat exchanger, it can leak carbon monoxide. Even though he comes through the house with a CO detector reading zero ppm. He communicates this needs to be taken care of ASAP, and we setup an appointment to be quoted for a new furnace (which I cancelled the next day). ALSO, he mentions that if we want central air, this is the time to do it. Additionally, I am asked about what I do for a living, which made me uncomfortable, but some people are just friendly and make conversation. I called my dad about the visit (my fiancé is at work), and my dad come over. He tightens TWO screws and the clicking of the motor STOPS. At this point, I believe nothing the technician told me. I call and communicate this to the manager, and he talks to the person that was at my house. When he calls me back to address my complaint, he does not give me a legitimate answer and attempts to defend the technician (and offers to partially refund me). I have now had a second opinion come by, and I am told for a 21 yr old furnace, it is in perfect health. NO signs of cracks in the heat exchanger, such a as no movement of the flames, burning around the circles, etc. I need to REPLACE NOTHING, and this company tried to get me to spend about $3000 for a new furnace!!! ZERO trust. Also, the new company thinks that what I told was a crack was a little bit of rusting... (And my refund hasn't gone through yet).
I will not recommend. High price. Shoddy work. Quoted way higher than what they wanted to charge us. Not doing business with them again.
Sara S.Overall, good work and reliable, but at an elevated price point.
We've used Blessing for a couple of home repairs around the house lately and have overall pleased with their work and punctuality, although their pricing does appear to be on the high side. I have no problem with their work, per se, which has so far been pretty good, for mostly plumbing repairs and installation.
The work has been of good quality, the techs sent out have seemed quite professional and worked expediently to get the repairs done quickly and they have been extremely punctual, which seems to be a rarity in this industry. I appreciate the punctuality and expedience and expect no less. No one wants to have to clear an entire day's schedule and sit around twirling their hair waiting on a repairman for any type of plumbing or electrical repair. Who would? Who has the time to waste for that, and in an emergency situation, no less?
I called them out recently to do some bathroom plumbing repairs/upgrades. The tech arrived early and even called me on the road fifteen minutes ahead to let me know he'd be there first thing in the morning. I appreciated that more than you could know. Most local plumbing companies or any type of repair tech out there (cable, heating/cooling, contractor, delivery/install guys, Consumer's Energy, etc) don't feel the need to do it and seldom do. A little finesse goes a long way, as does punctuality and honesty. The tech wore covers over his boots, didn't track in mud or snow, did his job as quickly as possible. It turned to be a bit more involved than anticipated and some of the lines had to be replaced immediately, but he had the equipment and parts in his van. When all was said and done, the repairs were finished quickly and correctly and the saga of the ever-running new toilet had come to a blissful end. What a relief. It was eating up the water bill like you wouldn't believe. The amount the endlessly running toilet tacked onto our water bill at that point cost twice what the repair cost (and the repair wasn't cheap). Ouch.
At any rate, the tech did the all of work efficiently and without leaving a wake of mud and snow all over the house. He gave us a few DIY tricks to try if we encountered and problems with the work, even though it came with a guarantee. I'll be honest- the bill was not cheap, but then again, no plumbing/HVAC company is at all. If you don't know how to do it yourself or aren't a true handyman type, you are going to have to call in a pro for those pesky home repairs every now and then and try to go with the best estimate. In this case, it was more of an emergency situation and the tech did get the repairs done, although the final bill was kind of high, a little bit more than I thought it would be, but it wasn't terrible considering the cost of hiring a decent plumber, plus he was available to come out without a lot of advance notice. The tech didn't take too long on the work, but it was done right and most of it was labor cost, according to the emailed receipt that I received.
When we've used Blessing before, the tech was also able to show up almost immediately with little notice as well, so punctuality (not to mention availability) seems to be their strong suit and in a plumbing emergency, it's a must.
Overall, I'm pleased with their work and will probably use them again in the future if we need them, which I'm sure that we will.
So glad that I called Blessing! It was a Friday and the first coldest day of the year and our Furnace went out! They came right out and found the issue. We needed a new furnace and I was assuming it would be the next week before they were going to be able to get it done. They came right out on Saturday and worked very efficiently to get the work done. They are very professional and we are very happy that we chose them! Thank you Blessing!
I have been using Blessing for the past few years after moving to the area. They are very professional and I can trust them working in my home. They have helped us a few times with after hours emergency calls as well. This is a wonderful company who does high quality work with high quality products. I would absolutely use them again for my plumbing and heating/cooling needs. It's the small details that make them stand out from other companies.
Highway robbery. They take advantage of someone who needs a repair in an emergency. Paid 3 times the price another company would have done the job for. Beware!! Their name is a joke. Call someone else!
Wish I could give them zero stars... Blessing is an absolute ripoff. They have this ""standard fees"" book where they try to make it seem that their going to always charge a reasonable and consistent amount for a job, however, when someone does a job in 30 minutes and installs a $8.97 part, you have to wonder how that really computes to $367.
Even as a professional accountant, I can't pull 700+ per hour. They want to charge you $45 to come out and give outrageous estimates and that charge does NOT get absorbed into the work.
Avoid this company at all costs, their scrupulous rip-offs, find another plumbing company.
