Our A/C died and I called and got their 24 hour reception and waited 3 hours before having to call again only to have their person call me only to tell me that while they ARE 24 hour service - he ""had to let his guy get some sleep""... but somehow he swears they are ""24 hour service""!!
Worst customer service EVER!!!

I have been a customer with Blendair for over 20 years. If I could give them a negative star rating, I would, based on my last experience with them. A new technician came to my house last Friday to check my air conditioning unit to make sure it was up to par for the new season. I do this every season with no complaints before. Blendair actually put in my new air conditioning and heating unit two years ago. When the technician showed up, he came late and was very intrusive as far as walking Around my house without asking permission to use things. He spent a good two hours doing absolutely nothing. However, when he came upstairs to tell me the cost of his service he said that I needed my condensers cleaned and the evaporator coil's cleaned. He could not do it that day because he spent so much time lingering around and not doing what he was supposed to have done. I needed to call the office on Monday to make an appointment to clean the coils. So, I called the office and the person that I spoke to had no idea what was going on and said they would call me back. They called me back and told me that my air conditioning unit was so damaged and I needed to have extensive work done that would cost me over $1000. I said to him why didn't the technician explain this to me. I've had my coils cleaned before and it wasn't this expensive, why is it so expensive now? The technician or the person who I was speaking to was extremely rude and defensive. I asked the person on the phone why would I need so much work if the unit is only two years old. I then asked him is there anyway that you could discount this because I'm on a budget he said I already discounted enough for you, with customers like you I don't need. So at that point I was very frustrated and told the person on the phone that I've been a great customer of theirs and have gotten everything done through them. Again, he told me He doesn't need customers like me. So I went through another company and the other company found paper stuck in my blower to my heater unit that could've caused a fire if I didn't call them. The reason why I called the other company was because of my distaste for the way the person on the phone spoke to me and I started to hear a noise coming from my heater unit.When the first technician From Blendair left I did not have anything on in my system because it was still so nice out so It did not require heat or air conditioning. Good thing I didn't have anything on because I would've had a fire that weekend. So long story short don't use Blendair!!! And a sidenote the guy that came to me from the other company told me all I needed was the condenser and evaporator him unit cleaned and it cost me $300 for him to repair all the damage that the other technician did last Friday. My question is why is a big company like Blendair not honest??? Runnnnnn from this company !!!!!

The tech showed up on time after I received a call from the office to let me know he was on his way. He wore gloves and a mask the entire time that he was in the house. He worked quickly and efficiently, found the problem and had in is truck what he needed to repair the humidifier. He discovered and fixed a potential hazard, continued with the yearly heat check-up and renewed our contract all in under 45 minutes. This is the type of service we have come to expect from Blend Air and is why we have been customers for over 30 years. The woman who owned the house before us was also a loyal customer for many years--and her family was in the construction business!!

Last night (Sunday) I discovered a substantial leak in the expansion tank of my boiler. I made countless phone calls trying to get someone to come out. I finally got a hold of Blend Air who promised to send a tech who should arrive in 1 to 2 hours. Approximately an hour later a tech, Dan, showed up and assessed the situation. To my pleasant surprise he had an expansion tank on his truck and proceeded to replace the leaking tank. The tech was friendly, professional and efficient. THANK YOU BLEND AIR!!

After having several Heating & Cooling companies give me estimates, my neighbor told me about how he has used Blend Air for many years and recommended them. The initial estimate went well and I was impressed by the detail in how they were going to install a new furnace and AC unit. I decided to hire them based off the estimate and price. Price wise they fell into the middle somewhere with other estimates so not too bad.

The wait time to get them to actually start the work was a bit of a pain since I was trying to give them business and they wouldn't get back to me but with everything going on COVID wise I understand. Eventually they got back to me and we signed a contract. The installation they said would take about three days. Boy we're they wrong. It took about 2 weeks to get the furnace and AC done but luckily it wasn't too hot or too cold during install time and thankful I was available. However, after the installation was completed is when the problems started. I had to have them come back 4 different times to fix issues with the furnace and AC. Out of the 4 times, three were somewhat quick fixes such as a loose connection or electric problem but on the 4th visit one of their mechanics who didn't do the install originally said a pipe was installed incorrectly and needed to be fixed. Now on the 4th visit with a different mechanic who was supposed to fix the pipe issue, he realized the entire furnace was installed at an incorrect angle and the whole furnace needed to be installed again as water was building up on one side stopping the heat from being released into the ducts. This fix took another two days.

Finally after installing the furnace at the correct angle the heat and AC are working but I'm still missing a part that they have to apply to the furnace. This will be the 5th visit from them if they ever decided to finish the job. It's been almost a month and half now and I'm still getting the run around from them to finish the proper installation and get the part. I have to constantly call to get updates.

The thorough estimate, price, and the fact that the mechanics do come out to your house in a timely manner once an appointment is made makes me give the three stars. However,since I had so many issues with the install, it's now a month and half from the original install and hey still didn't finish what they need to fix, and I have to constantly check in for updates on the missing part makes me not able to give this business more than three stars unfortunately.

Last year they had to come back twice for my A/C through no fault of their own and both return visits were immediate and free (except for a faulty part that had to be replaced).

Great company with 24 hour emergency service. I've used them for my A/C as well as my heating system. I find them to be very professional, quick response time, very knowledgeable, truthful and fair in their pricing. I did call them with an A/C problem in the late evening a few years ago and although they did charge extra to come out, the price was reasonable and they fixed my A/C on an extremely hot night! Last night my A/C went out and they were here by noon today, fixed the problem quickly and the cost was minimal. I highly recommend this company!!

Used this company for a/c tune up and also a plumbing issue. They do top notch work. The plumbing problem escaped 5 plumbing companies before I called these folks. Mikes diagnosis was quick and accurate. After ten years of putting up with a hot water issue in the master shower... Blend Air fixed it right...and right away. I couldn't be more pleased, nor could I recommend a company more highly.

I went with this company on a recommendation, but my experience with them was nothing to write home about (in a good way). My first visit with a technician: first 30 minutes complaining about the traffic and trying to sell me something before he understood what the problem was. Too much talking and not enough listening. After he 'checked everything' and 'everything checked out' he presented a bill that charged me by the hour (of course including the 30 minutes he spent talking about HIM). Argh. If my system was fixed that would be great. However, I left for vacation two days later. On returning home, realized that the AC was not working. Called them back and this time a different technician diagnosed the AC system had a frozen line and needs to be replaced. ""After all, things happen"". WHAT? And then charged me for the service call. Of course this amount could be deducted from my future purchase of a new AC system (approx $6k). YIKES!
This morning I had no heat. I called and in spite of the second 'coincidence' I was given excuse after excuse after excuse. After 5+ minutes of the excusing, without a shred of remorse (""sorry you're freezing, sorry this happened, let me see how quickly I can get someone to get out to you, etc."" I hung up. No sense throwing good money after bad. Avoid at all costs. That's what they are doing to their 'customers'. UGH.
