Chad was the worst plumber I have ever used. He called and said I'll be there at 9:30am. showed up at 8:30am because he had nothing to do. He replaced a shower cartridge - in all of 10 min. I called another plumber and they said it should take longer than that. There was no indication that he even replaced the cartridge. No water in the tub, no dirt, nothing except a NICK on my chrome ring above the handle. He handed me a dirty part that he pulled out of his dirty bucket and asked me if I wanted it - very UNPROFESSIONAL. He had turned the water off in order to replace the cartridge. After the ""supposed"" installation, he went downstairs and turned the water back on. Never went back into the bathroom to check his work. If he had, he would have seen that a lot of the water was now flowing into the tub from the faucet below. I called to speak to the mgr - Jenny is always in meetings or going to meetings. She finally called me back and told me that when a new part is installed, another one may be affected. She said she would have Chad call me with an estimate on replacing that part. I never got a call (6 days later) Jenny was in another meeting when I called so I spoke to her husband Dick. The first thing he said was that the call was being recorded. Like I care? He didn't listen and had a hard time understanding anything. I told him the handle was lose when you turn it - he said it shouldn't be I told him it was probably never replaced or it was the cheap part that they put in there (they buy in bulk - JUNK parts). I also told him about water pouring out of the faucet in the tub as well. He said on your water heater? I had no idea what he was talking about, as I told him the TUB. Dick said he had a hard time believing Chad didn't check his work. I told him there was no water in the tub, and you can't check when the water is off. Since they charge $180 an hour, I told him about other things that needed to be done. He told me if I went over the hour, I would have to pay him overtime - to talk to him about other projects? He is their only plumber for residential work. CALL ANOTHER PLUMBING COMPANY...You should expect someone more professional at this hourly rate!!!!

Can't give this company a very good review because they charge the minimum of $170 even for a ""consult"".

I had sent a video and multiple photos of a basic leaky tub and actually tried to do the work myself, but the tile work around the plumbing restricted my access. So, Blaylock sent the plumber out who said he couldn't really tell by the video/photos and basically came to the house and told me he didn't do tile work and left. Because of this ""visit,"" it's part of their policy just for coming out even if ZERO work was done.

Highly disappointed as I tried to go local and the both the person on the phone and the plumber was really nice.

I had to schedule a few days out because they were booked. Said they would call me if something opened up sooner and something did open up and they were able to come a few days earlier. They were pleasant and efficient. I would use them again.

I had Blaylock do a sewer pipe replacement a few years ago, and they did a fantastic job, however today I called for another big repair job, and spoke with Jenny Blaylock, who was rude, condescending to the point that I could not even communicate with her...told her I would call someone else. Too bad after having a great experience the first time. Not worth it to be treated so awful.

Blaylock did a near-complete sewer replacement for us in Richfield, and we were very satisfied. We had three companies out to look at the situation, which was a sewer lateral damaged heavily by roots and one portion of transite pipe that had rotted out. One recommended only doing a spot fix of the sewer lateral, and two recommended redoing the whole line. Blaylock's price was only slightly higher than the one who was just going to replace a small segment!

My only complaint is that they were a little casual about the bid and the scheduling. We never got a formal written bid or estimate, and they took a while to nail down the exact date. (Though, it was not urgent, and they knew that.) But when they actually did the work, they were awesome! They were very efficient, with just two guys working, did almost all the work by noon same-day. They were very careful about managing where they put the piles of dirt, so the lawn was not damaged more than necessary. Since they were ahead of schedule and below budget, they even offered to re-sod where they'd dug the holes, for only a little more money.

They installed a clean-out in the front of the house, and were careful to cut it down low, so there wouldn't be unsightly PVC sticking up. We added a couple new plantings ourselves after they left, and the lawn looked better than before! The final bid came right in the middle of their estimate range, even with the sodding.

Of course, only time will tell if the new line will hold up better than the old, but assuming they're as conscientious about the sewer work as they were about all the stuff we could see ourselves, I have confidence their job will stand the test of time.

Would definitely recommend.
