Learn from my mistake and do not hire this man. He came recommended to me by a friend. I contracted Jeff and his crew of 3 guys to demo and rebuild my tiled shower. From April until mid June, when I fired him, he had only been to the house a total of 4 times. The original quote was a 3 week time frame. I was overly reasonable with the slow pace. I bought the guys lunch gave the owner an expensive bottle of bourbon attempting to facilitate quality work. It became clear that the project was being botched and I ultimately fired him. When parting ways I wished to pay them for what had been done correctly and receive the rest of my money back minus any damages to the house that needed to be fixed. Jeff returned 3k out of the 6 that was given for a job that was to total 10k. He falsely stated he had 2.1k worth of materials. These supposed materials he kept minus the garbage shower pan and broken cement board that I am pending removing from my house. I am ultimately out 3k for the only satisfactory part of the job being the demolition. Everything else will need to be ripped out and redone.

Do yourself a favor. Hire a licensed and insured professional that will do a good job.

4. His crew will damage your house every time they step foot inside. I have walls cabinets and a window seal that I am left to fix. Jeff stated he would take care of it before being fired. If he cannot do quality plumbing and shower construction I have no faith in his ability to fix what he isn't ""specialized"" in.

5. The quality of work and supplies used are atrocious. I have attached pictures to show how every piece of cement board put up is cracked in all 4 edges. The shower pan that supposedly took a month to custom make and cost ""1.5k"" was nothing more than resin pieces screwed into one another and ""waterproofed"" by slapping on silicone caulk. A wall was built that was not properly anchored and has movement when pressure is applied. His guys managed to purchase the wrong tile. I picked out tile early on and these guys showed up with an entirely different tile. They then attempted to coerce me into using it.

6. His price is very high and he will ask you for a ridiculous 60% up front. This in retrospect was a red flag. I however unfortunately trusted Jeff because he was recommended by a friend. I did not get a refund proportional to the work that was gone. Jeff held the cash and challenged me to sue him. He additionally would not return any funds until I brought him the supplies for my project that I paid for. He obviously re used these supplies on other jobs or returned them for cash.

I called at 8 am on a Friday morning and they was at my house at 9 am. They replaced my faucet and my toilet. They did pretty good work. My only reason for giving 4 instead of 5 stars is that they did not do my faucet correct the first time but they did come back and fix it! I appreciate their hard work.

Tried for 4 weeks to get all the required paperwork so he can do the job we had called him about will not answer phone took him 3 weeks to get the quote to us then when we asked for some other paperwork he said no problem when it wasn't turned in keep trying to call him no answer goes straight to voice mail then when he did call he asked if this was someone else that had tried to call him told him no and told him who I was and we had been trying to get ahold of him and he hung up on me. Said he had been in busy 30+ years and would do a fantastic job can't believe anything he says I wouldn't call him again and certainly wouldn't recommend him.

This company was in charge of installing our tub. Upon the arrival of the worker at our home, my husband assisted him with the heavy lifting. This individual did an absolutely terrible job!! He made unnecessary holes in our walls. Once the substandard work was completed, he upped the charge by $400. He explained to my husband that he had to purchase a part that was 50 dollars, in addition to the cost of gas. The cost of gas should have been factored into the original price he was charging us. We paid him the extra $400, I promised my husband that we would never use this company again. He was very unprofessional and provided low quality work. He originally booked us and then turned around and worked another job after assuring us that he would begin working on our bathroom during the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. During the second week, he pretended to be ""sick"" and stated he would come the following day and he did not come as promised! Despite all of the warning signs, we decided to give him the benefit of the doubt and enable him to provide services as promised. He still did not show up for any of the scheduled appointments on time! There is a leak someplace, and I made my husband aware of the situation immediately. This individual was expected to come out yesterday, but he did not show!!! If I had the time, I would have taken legal action against this company!! Due to the services provided. The fact that this company came to our home and did such a poor job, then neglected to fix the damage they had caused as well as the leak, speaks volumes about the character of this organization. We had to get someone to fix the damages they made to our wall and now the leak. BEWARE!! WE WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN!!

I wish I could give him 0 stars, Blanton left us in a huge mess. He did shotty work, did not supervise his employee, who also did shotty work, and never actually finished the job. He started ignoring our calls when we tried to have him come back to finish. Things also started disappearing when there was no one else in the house. Can't prove it was him, but he was the only one with access to our home. I will never use him again, not that he will answer our calls now that we have paid him anyway.
