So professional, the employees were VERY polite. Honestly, the fact that the owner showed up to introduce himself and review everything with us was very impressive. The price was great, the work first class and I would use them again. **Job time was as in the contract **Employees were polite **Everyday they put down plastic, wore covered shoes, and cleaned up EVERYDAY. **Our system is working perfectly and they came by a week after to make sure. **We also had them clean the attic, get rid of old installation, and they were replacing our HVac as well. **They do not know this but my husband and I took pictures everyday. The process was first class. They worked their butts off. You want the job done right? Choose Blantons BTW, its been two months since everything and it all works beautifully.

Blanton & Sons responded to an emergency service call to repair our AC. There service was prompt and professional resulting in us switching to Blanton for regular maintenance. The entire team's service from call center to our technician, Justin, was exceptional and best of all a family own small business.

Dawson and Anthony were extremely helpful, explained everything to us and we would highly recommend them. Sometimes it is difficult to get someone to come out to the islands on short notice if it isn't an emergency but I called Monday afternoon and they worked us in for the next day. They were professional, polite and knowledgable. We will call Blanton & Sons again the next time we have plumbing needs/questions!

So we had Blanton's put in a new AC unit downstairs only to have it go out not a year into use. It's the middle of the summer in South Carolina pushing 100 degrees daily and they could not get out to look at it that day. That's reasonable, no problem even though my wife happens to be pregnant we can make it work. We had another company come out to diagnose the problem (that day mind you) and once the problem was diagnosed it was determined that it was under warranty and would be covered by Blanton's. When they (Blanton's) finally decided to show up, 3 separate appointments went by, each ending with them telling us that they didn't have the correct part and would have to come back another day. All this is understandable albeit a bit unprofessional and the technicians themselves were absolutely professional. However during the final appointment I received not a single call telling me when the technician would arrive, I had to call 3 separate times during a single day to see when they would be arriving. On the final call the woman on the phone stated that she wasn't calling me back because she thought I was rude and hung up on me. A call back resulted in the most unprofessional behavior from who I can only conclude was the manager or owner. I was called multiple names and generally treated like a lowlife. Oh and I was then hung up on again. I would do everything in my power to avoid this company. They operate under the guise of a """"Good old boy"""" family owned company but seem to treat their customers like a large cable company - maybe worse. He even threatened to cancel my warranty because we had another company come and diagnose the problem because they could not show up I sincerely hope that someone considering using them reads this as we have been without AC for almost 2 weeks. Please use another company, these people do not deserve your money and all of their positive google reviews smell fishy.

I would never call anyone other than Blanton & Sons for AC issues! Woke up on a Saturday to an increasingly hot house, and noticed the outside unit was not kicking on. Called Blanton's and they got me on the schedule for first thing Sunday morning. Bonus points to John, who noticed that our neighborhood was on the way between jobs on Saturday, so he squeezed us in day of, suspecting it was a quick fix. In 20 minutes he replaced the capacitor and we were cooling again. Thanks to this company, who always does great work!

This review is based on my latest service with Blanton's. I used them once before and it was a great job from top to bottom. This time I called a week or 2 out, asked for a specific tech and scheduled my appointment for 10:30. To make a long story short, they arrived an hour late and they sent me a different tech than the one I requested. The work itself was great but the customer service representative I dealt with on this occasion dropped the ball 3 times: she never advised me of a supposed 2-hour appointment window; not sending my originally requested technician as promised, and not calling to notify me they would be late (I called them 20 minutes after my appointment time).

We had Blanton and Sons flush and clean our Rinnai water heater. They were very professional, took care of us in a rain storm, and fixed a loose faucet fixture at no additional cost bc it was loose... We would definitely recommend and hire again.

Here was my experience with Blanton & Sons Plumbing. Made an appointment 5 days hence. Received a confirmation of appointment after I made it. Received a second confirmation of appointment the day before. On the day of waited for 3:15 pm appointment until 4:45 pm. No plumber. Called B&S. Not coming. Tried to get in touch with me 2-3 times the day of the appointment. No one answered. B&S cancelled the appointment without notifying me. I checked my Iphone. None of the following the day of the appointment from B&S: voicemail, email, text message. Thought this info might be useful to you if you need a plumber.
