In 1993, Jimmy Blanton launched our business, starting with heating and air services and later incorporating a Spray Foam and Plumbing Department. Both of our sons share our vision of excellence and have joined the team, contributing to our success and joy!

Jimmy B. established Blanton's Mechanical & Sons in 1993. He has grown the business, increasing the workforce and broadening our service offerings beyond just heating and air. He values his business, his staff, and, most importantly, his customers. Jimmy's primary focus is customer satisfaction. When not working on-site, meeting clients, or managing the office, he enjoys time with his wife and two kids.

Blanton and sons came during the week to fix our heat. We paid $1100 for a replacement part and labor. Our heat worked less than 16 days, until it was 30 degrees outside on a Sunday. They were going to charge $159 for a weekend appointment. This has the same problem it had before it was repaired. They called back and cancelled our Sunday appointment I believe because i said i would not pay the Sunday fee. This was terrible customer service. There are lots of reputable companies out there, and this one i would not recommend. I could undersand the Sunday charge if I hadn't paid them #1100 dollars 16 days ago and i'm having the same issues as before.

Beware of the service hourly price this company charges customers. I called for A/C service at my son's recently purchased house as the units looked almost new and they had installed. I was told it was a blower motor and the parts were under warranty, but we would have to pay labor and the cost would be $714. It seemed high, but I didn't know how big a job it was and agreed. To my surprise the technician spent less than 1 hour on the job. I called their office to question the high charge for an hours worth of labor. Sarah told me she would look into it and call me back, never did. I called for her two other times and she never returned my calls until I sent an email looking to speak to one of the owners. She refused to let me speak to them and said I can talk to her. She states their other costs that go into the labor charge like the office expenses etc. This is ridiculous, no one charges this much for labor. I had also spent $89 for the first visit and she said that should have been deducted from the invoice since we moved forward with the work. Had I not kept pushing the bill, they would have overcharged me the $89 first visit fee as well. Very shady operation in my opinion.

Mike came to fix 2 leaking faucets. He arrived early, fixed them quickly, kept things tidy and even caulked a couple of fixtures that needed attention. Here was my experience with Blanton & Sons Plumbing. Made an appointment 5 days hence. Received a confirmation of appointment after I made it. Received a second confirmation of appointment the day before. On the day of waited for 3:15 pm appointment until 4:45 pm. No plumber. Called B&S. Not coming. Tried to get in touch with me 2-3 times the day of the appointment. No one answered. B&S cancelled the appointment without notifying me. I checked my Iphone. None of the following the day of the appointment from B&S: voicemail, email, text message. Thought this info might be useful to you if you need a plumber.

I love supporting small businesses, but my air is not working AGAIN. The air conditioning in my classroom was brand new- freshly installed at the start of last school year. It did not cool the room or remove humidity. I followed protocol and reported to my school secretary countless times. People came, told me """"oh it's running,"""" """"it's supposed to bring in fresh air which might be humid,"""" and people left saying it was working. It's not working. It wasn't until the room reached 86 (felt way hotter) until something was actually done. I had about a month of crisp cool air and then school ended. I returned from summer 2 weeks ago, there was about a week of cool air until boom, humidity like a greenhouse. The thermostat still reads 73 or 74 but it's NOT. It is hot. My paper feels damp. My things in my walls curl. Command strips fall down. And my students are easily irritated by little things while I feel sweaty and sticky all day. This is a faulty product and I feel like they have string us along and next thing you know it will be out of warranty or some other excuse. It's been a year. Fix it. PLEASE! I just was a cool room to work in.

I would never call anyone other than Blanton & Sons for AC issues! Woke up on a Saturday to an increasingly hot house, and noticed the outside unit was not kicking on. Called Blanton's and they got me on the schedule for first thing Sunday morning. Bonus points to John, who noticed that our neighborhood was on the way between jobs on Saturday, so he squeezed us in day of, suspecting it was a quick fix. In 20 minutes he replaced the capacitor and we were cooling again. Thanks to this company, who always does great work!

Graham Turner came out to check a couple of things on my Hvac system and I also hired the company to do semi annual maintenance. They were priced a bit higher than other companies but it's well worth it. They are so professional from the time the appointment was booked to reminding me of the appointment to contacting me to let me know the appointment might be a little later than originally planned. Then when he was on his way I got a text with a picture and bio. Graham was not rushed. He was very conscientious and thorough, providing me with pictures and answering all my questions. It's obvious he wants to please his customers and he did. Five stars all around.
