I had Brian Blakely install new water lines in my house in 2011. We had a verbal agreement to do the job for $2000.He was also supposed to move an outside faucet that was located in the front yard to a more convenient place closer to the house. He installed the water lines OK as far as I know but when I questioned him about why I had no better water pressure in my kitchen, he said I had a bad faucet (which was only a year old). He had cut a 5"" long hole in the wall of one room to get to the bathroom pipes. He then put the piece he had cut out back in with a few nails & left it, didn't tape it or anything. When he moved the outside faucet, he decided to put it on the side of my house. He drilled a hole in the side & apparently then chose to put it in a different spot. He filled the drilled hole with something that looks like sawdust & then drilled another hole & installed the faucet in the foundation of the house, above where there is a flowerbed. I now have to walk through the flowerbed to use the faucet. And it leaks when there is a hose attached to it. He was also supposed to take out the existing faucet & it's still there.One of his workers had walked through my living room on my beige carpet with boots covered with clay mud. He agreed at that time to have someone come in & clean the carpet,. That never happened.
They left & never came back to complete the job. I tried several times to contact him but to no avail. Six months later I received his bill. It was for $2800.00. I sent him a check for the $2000 we had agreed on with a letter stating he needed to come back & finish the work. I did speak to him once & he said he would be back on Wednesday to finish the job. That day came & went. I called him & asked what happened & he was fumbling around with something & hung up on me. I called him again several times over several weeks & he refused to pick up my calls. I finally gave up. I filed a complaint with the BBB & he never responded to that either.
Most of the work was done while I was at work & I put my trust in this man to get the job he was hired for done. He failed.I am a single woman & feel like he took advantage of that. I now have to hire another plumber to fix the mess he created.
I would not recommend this company for your plumbing needs.
