Utility locating, leak detection, and pipeline videography are services we offer. We also provide utility installation, earthwork, septic system installation, storm systems, and fusion welding.

My passion for heavy equipment and utility construction has always been strong. I spent 25 years as a foreman for an engineering contractor, which provided me with valuable insights. As the owner of my own business, I find joy in helping others and imparting my knowledge.

Whether it’s a basic utility locate or a complex detention system, I am here to help. Heavy construction has been my focus throughout my adult life. Heavy equipment and engineering construction come naturally to me. I have collaborated with city municipalities and even served as a firefighter for a local agency. It’s in my nature to help others.

Hero! We had a few large leaks, one under our driveway out to our main line. The other spewing up on the side of the house. He has the knowledge, equipment, and experience to get it done and get it done correctly. We had called multiple plumbers and person after person to help us out. Blake pipeline saved the day. They left their site clean after they were finished and communicated during the process so I was informed. They also sent photos when I wasn't around so I could see the work/ progress of the day. Above and beyond they are fabulous!!!!

The response time was terrific, they came highly recommended and I appreciate the quick service
Everything they did was great. If you have a leak at your house, inside or out.. an issue with your plumbing in your swimming pool or spa this 2 man team will find it and repair it in a very timely manner.. We were impressed and very pleased to have the leak in our underground irrigation plumbing resolved.

We put Joe's skills to the test last week. Our water company came out and verified that we had a leak of more than 1/2 a gallon per minute that was somewhere between our house and meter. The pipe run is over a 1000 feet and runs through woods, hills, and two creeks (due to lots for rain) and though our neighbors property. The water company recommended Blake Pipeline because of his success with a similar situation.

He showed up the first day that it wasn't pouring rain and got to work right away. He used hydrogen/ nitrogen gas pressurized in the line and gas detection equipment. Joe is definitely an expert at this sort of thing! It took about 3 hours to find. There was no indication what so ever that the leak was at that spot. The ground was easily soaking up all the water. The surface wasn't any different than the surrounding area. So basically I would have no chance of finding it without professional help. I'm so glad I called him.

Joe and Bob were great! Our house was without water due to a leak/break in the waterline from our pump. They were easy to contact, got out here quickly, found the problem and repaired it. In the process they flagged our waterline for our future reference and gave us numerous tips on how to control drainage around our 12-acre parcel. They also gave us ideas on our landscaping and encouraged us to contact them with any questions, concerns or referral sources. They were very professional yet extremely personable. They approached their work with good humor and made the whole process almost seem kinda fun. Their prices are very reasonable and it was money well spent, especially considering the amount of time it would have taken me to do what they did. I highly recommend them.

We live on 3.5 acres with a well and septic. In the 7 years we've lived on the property, we've never had city-standard water pressure and that was okay, but the lack of pressure was getting worse and was intermittently nonexistent at times. I found a small leak in a service box that kept flooding and thought that could be the issue, but I didn't like the looks of the pipe contraption someone had put into place and didn't want to mess with it. I had already spent too much time watching YouTube videos and too much money replacing things that didn't fix the issue. Lesson #1: Save your time and money and call an expert. So, I called the well people.

The well guy, whose company I trusted implicitly, looked at the leak I had found, but wasn't convinced that was the source of my problem. He was on the property for a couple of hours checking every other possibility three times over. There was nothing wrong with the well or its workings, and as much as it pained him to not identify and fix the problem, he figured there MUST be a bigger leak in the line somewhere. Fortunately, the well guy ""knew a guy"" and called him for me to describe what was going on. Lesson #2: If someone you trust says ""they know a guy"", you've just been exposed to the inner circle you didn't know existed. Contact them immediately.

I followed up the well guy's phone call with a text. Joe, at Blake Pipeline, called me back almost immediately, which is almost unheard of in this area, and showed up on my property the next day. I had always wondered the path my pipes took to get from my well at the bottom of the hill to my house at the top of the hill. I was desperate at this point for someone to find and fix something and even if this didn't find or fix the issue, at least I would finally know how the pipes ran to the house.

Joe showed up on time the next day and started with a quick visual inspection around the house, scraped at the ground with the toe of his boot in one area and noted what might be a damp spot near one corner of the house. The damp spot wasn't obvious to me. It wasn't soaking wet as Youtubers explained it should be if there was a broken pipeline and I figured it was just moisture from the roof line as it had recently rained. He went down to the well and did a quick visual once-over for anything obvious, brought out his detection equipment, and flagged the path of the pipeline to the top of the hill and the hard right to the house. I now had a trail of flags marking the path of the water pipes to my house. That, to me, would have been worth the cost alone.

Next, he pressurized the entire system with air. Sure enough, the small leak I had uncovered was coming out with more force, but Joe assured me that leak should not be causing such a dramatic loss of water pressure. We walked along the flag-line to the house and lo and behold, the area Joe had scraped with his boot was swelling up and down from the air pressure like a 7-foot zombie was trying to push its way out of its grave. It was truly the most bizarre thing I had ever seen. Joe just smiled and shrugged because that's what experts do.

Long story short, Joe identified, dug out, and fixed the significant zombie break in the pipeline caused by a big root and a heavy stone, the original leak I had identified, and a third smaller leak in a final check. Lesson #3: Call in the experts early because the time, money, and frustration you'll save will far outweigh what they charge you to quickly find and fix the problem.

Joe is personable, knows, his business, and is reasonably priced. I'm just sorry there aren't more things broken on my property I can hire him to fix.

Joe is amazing. I needed advice and work done on my formerly landscaped property, which was creating issues with the flow of water on my 2-unit property. Joe was able to assess, and detect multiple points that could be easily fixed, and others that could be paramount solutions using other local experts he was happy to refer me to. I can't say enough good about him. If you're doing underground work, your first call should be Joe at Blake Pipeline.

We came home from vacation to find our pond was almost empty. NID provides water to customer outlets but getting water from the NID box to customer property is the homeowner's responsibility. After unsuccessfully trying to get water from NID to my pond and looking on the internet for help. after several calls to others who didn't seem to be interested, I found Blake Pipeline's website.
I was ecstatic first, that someone actually returned my call but more importantly, Joe Blake called me back within a couple of hours and found time in his schedule to come by the house the next morning. After some preliminary checking, it took just over an hour to have my water to my pond back in service.
Joe explained the process that we may need to go through to restore water in a way that was easy to understand.
Joe and Bob were extremely helpful, and I'm thrilled with their service.
If this problem arises again, they'll be my first call. I'd highly recommend them to anyone!

The propane delivery truck hit some piping to my well pump yesterday when they refilled my propane tank and being a single mom with 2 boys not knowing all the ins/outs to these matters I reluctantly and hopingly made the call to Joe for help today. And I just have to say what a man of service! He was eager, humble, hard working and ever so willing. It's rare you meet people with his work ethic and integrity these days! He quickly figured out the problem and fixed it. I'm so grateful and so happy to recommend him and his services if your in need.
