So much trouble with this company, where to start? This company is tied to perma pier foundation repair (see review on that company). They were tasked with fixing the plumbing leaks after the foundation repair. Quoted me $15K for tunneling and repairs on two areas of the house. One area didn't even have a leak, their leak detection was wrong. The other section they stated they needed to charge me an extra $1500 to tunnel 3 more feet to gain access to a specific joint. I crawled down into the hole, spent 15 mins to dig 1 more foot and behold, joint exposed. After that they jack hammered a section of foundation beam that was totally unnecessary and required yet another pier for stability. Never again....

Blacktie did backfall work in our foundation to fixed a plumbing issue. They dug over 40 feet of tunnel to do this work in 2109.
The work was undertaken by gehan homes, our builder who paid blacktie. It was an expense of several thousand $$$$( I was not shared the details but I know based on a quote provided by Berkeys).
I never thought that I would have the sewage backup problem however
in 2022, less than 2 years later, the exact same problem of sewage backing in bathroom started in the exact same spot Blacktie fixed. Now they want to charge us monies to fix it again - Didnt we have warranty ? I never thought that the problem would occur again and gehan homes was handling the repair, an expense of over $10k so we didn't think much of it. We were just glad to ge tried if the disgusting sewage backup. Blacktie's work was backed up by ONLY a year's warranty while other companies give a 5 year warranty for the same job!
Clearly seems like Blacktie did not have faith in its own work by shortchanging us on the warranty terms.

I would be very careful giving an expensive repair job to Blackie since they dont stand behind their own work. What a disappointing experience with Blacktie in DFW area!

We had experience a leak around the toilet, the response time was the next day. The Plumbers check the problem, we decided to replaced the toilet, that we purchased from the store. The plumbers returned in a timely matter to install the toilet. Plumbers very friendly and professional.

Told me they would get me help with my hot water heater and never responded when I asked for a status. This was on a Friday. I suppose they're used to leaving folks hanging with no hot water over the weekend. I guess another plumbing company will get my business and my recommendation on YELP.

Outstanding service. Good communicators. On time, cleaned up nicely. Matt represents them very well, from beginning to end. I'm a big fan for underfloor pipe repair. My project was pretty tricky--slab on grade.

Blacktie plumbing was the only plumbing company that could come out after the snowstorm and replace our hot water heater in such a short amount of time. Daniel came out Monday afternoon and will able to get us a new 50 gallon water heater installed and brought our existing connections up to code. They also pulled permit permit and had the city inspector come out the following day, to verify the work and we pass with flying colors I highly recommend Blacktie Plumbing.

Blacktie just replaced our home water heater. Shopped around for price, ratings scores and services received. They were honest in their dealings and fair in their pricing. Daniel came out, on time, clean and masked. Very meticulous in his work! We have replaced this water heater ourselves in the past, so I know how to do the work and he did an excellent job! I could not have done it any better! 5 stars says it all, excellent!
