We had some non-emergency work that needed to be done. Nonetheless Daniel from Black Mountain Plumbing was over here quickly. The text alert letting us know he was on the way which included his pic was pretty slick. As usual, the problems proved a little more complicated than originally expected. He showed us the roots that had grown up into the base of our toilet. Yikes! That needed to be replaced. We also had a leak that required the replacement of a faucet as well as a shower head replacement. Plumbers are not cheap and I have wondered whether some of that basic maintenance might be better done by a good handyman. When the various complications arose I was glad that we had the expertise that a certified expert can bring to the table. Daniel was personable and a hard worker who made sure that we clearly understood each step he took and the reasons he thought they were necessary. He took pictures and provided copies to us. The billing invoices and confirmation of receipts were swift and clear. It was a great job done by a local company. I'd gladly recommend them any time.

Daniel Kent came out and installed a new water heater and checked a sink for me today. Extremely professional and did an outstanding job. We have an extended family in the house and the new water heater is awesome for all the showers, dishwashing, and laundry that is going on. We had Black Mountain Plumbing come out for an estimate then repair faucets, unclog drains, and replace the water heater in our 5 bathroom, 15 year old home. Robert was extremely easy to work with, answered all of our questions, and effectively educated us on all of our options for repair and replacement. He and his crew were on time and worked efficiently to complete the job on schedule as promised. Their work is high quality and we are happy with the results. I called to get a quote from this company and they said they have just started charging $40 to come out and give you an estimate for work. The receptionist assured me this is what most plumbers are doing now but I have never had that experience and all of the other companies I have called do not charge. Interesting that they were getting so few follow ups after their bids tells me that they are probably higher priced than their competitors- Just out of the gate you have the $40 service fee!

Long overdue, but great work done by Zion! We had an issue with a leak and they to take some stucco out to fix the issue. Zion was awesome in finding out where the leak was coming from and fixing it. Was totally impressed by the work he did and on top of that, he cleaned up the stucco he had to remove after he was done.

James worked very deliberately and took extra care to ensure that his work was superior. I liked his serious attitude and professionalism. When a problem was detected that he was not terribly comfortable with the options for solutions, he called his superior John who, really knows what he is doing and was very competent and solved the problem quickly and efficiently. I will use these folks in the future. Their rates are competitive.

We had an old delta hardware part in are shower/bath tub
go bad, the part that switches from the water going into the tub
to coming out of shower head .John,the plumber, came out and
figured out quickly what the problem was but being the hardware
is 40 years old there was only one place in town that carries the part
and it looked like it was not going to be in until the following day which
I did not think was so bad considering the age.However,John decided
to make a stop at a Home Depot where he lives and look for that part and by
chance home depot had the part(that doesn't happen very often)So
instead of waiting until tomorrow to come over and fix it he gave us a call
and came right over within a 1/2 hour and got it fixed the same day.
When does that ever happen ?John you deserve the 5 stars, great job

Black Mountain Plumbing goes above and beyond. My review is a little over due. My water heater started leaking really bad on a FRIDAY AFTERNOON... late, like 4 PM and I was able to get in contact with Black Mountain Plumbing they came out the same day and set me up with a temporary water heater.....YES, a temporary water heater so I could have hot water while the dry wall dried out and was replaced. Once the dry wall was dried and replaced they came out and installed a nice new water heater. The guys were super friendly and professional and left everything tidy and clean. I will always call Black Mountain Plumbing for all my future needs. THANK YOU!
