From the first meeting with Mike, the owner...to the morning when Cody, Tom and Marvin got here on time...to the time the work was done...everything was excellent. The crew worked very efficiently together, and problems were solved as they arose. (Yes, you will have a surprise or two when you work with very old plumbing. These guys can handle it.) We are very happy with the final result. The team got the work done in one long day, and left our house cleaner than it was when they got there. Cody does quality control all through, and takes you on a final tour of everything so you can see exactly what's been done. If something isn't quite right, not quite to their standards, they do it over (an undersink fitting in this case). The communication all through, from everyone, was clear and complete. A big plus: These are nice people, and the price is very fair. Thanks, Black Cat!

I am a guy that places very high value on customer service. It's paramount in my view. So much so that I will go out of my way to give my business to those who provide the level of service that was once - long ago - common and taken for granted but is sadly a rare quality today.
Black Cat Plumbing delivers in spades.
Referred by Repipe Specialists, Black Cat had me covered start to finish. The whole-home repipe job took two days and the three-man crew - Cody, Tom, & Marvin - were always prompt, proficient, considerate, efficient, honest, and focused. Moreover, they picked up after themselves and never left a mess.
I would be remiss to not comment on the fact that due to no fault of their own, the city inspector failed the job first time out due to a leak in an outbound line (they only replace inbound water lines on a repipe), and a shower remodel that was in progress, as it did not have the trim kit (handles, mixer, nozzle) installed and so the inspector couldn't verify the hot & cold lines were correctly connected (they were).
After the city inspector called them, Mike Perrotti (owner of Black Cat) called to let me know he would send Tom out the next morning to fix the leak and install the trim kit at no additional cost.
Keep in mind that these were issues that Black Cat Plumbing were in no way responsible for.
Tom arrived at the appointed time and had the work done in record time. The job then passed with flying colors. In fact, the inspector commented on what good work they do.
That's service at it's finest.
I found their work ethic to be exemplary, as was the work they did.
Based on this experience, they are now my default plumbers moving forward. I HIGHLY recommend Black Cat Plumbing.
Trust me, you won't be sorry.
I know I'm not.

No doubt I make a great choice when I hired Black Cat Plumbing to replace all my old pipes. They were prompt, courteous, and most of all did a very good job. The work was extensive and they knocked it out in 2 days. I felt the price was very fair and I plan on always using them in the future with any plumbing needs.
I definitely recommend this company.

I called this am about a leaky sink. They called back right away, which is unusual. They couldn't help me as they are fully booked but they gave me two other references which eventual lead to me getting a service call scheduled.
Super helpful, super friendly.

They didn't actually do work for me because they were busy with work, but still took the time to call me back and make a recommendation to another shop. I appreciate the professionalism and willingness to help a person out, even when it doesn't result in income. Good folks!

Just called them asking for advice about an old odd size toilet in a hundred year old house that I've been trying to replace but I keep buying ones that don't fit even thought the measurements seem right on paper. Mike spent a good 20 minutes patiently trying to help me solve the problem myself. He went into detail about what I should look for, how I should measure, and even sent me some links to toilets. That is customer service, and I might not even need to have them come out now! If I do I know anyone with that kind of integrity will do the job right.

I'd have to say, they are the best. My wife and I, recently, had our plumbing updated to PEX. Before this update, if you flushed the toilet, and someone was washing their hands in the kitchen, the person washing their hands was subjected to nearly a steady dripping of water, until the bowl filled. Our house was built in 1925 and obviously needed the plumbing done.
Black Cat was able to convert us over in one day. We do have exposed pipes in the basement, as our basement isn't finished, but given their speed, and quality, I am amazed.
It's not simply the above that prompted me to go on Yelp and write a review. It's the guarantee of good service afterwards, which is icing on the cake, if you ask me.
We were having some issues after getting the new plumbing, we were having some troubles with our hose bib. This was not due to anything that Black Cat did, but due to hose bib manufacturer. Essentially, after turning off the hose, a stream of water shot out of where the hose connected to the bib. I called Black Cat and they sent someone out THAT DAY, despite a fully-booked schedule to replace the part. They were very candid about others reporting the same issue, and that they are seeking a different manufacturer for the part. Now that's what I call listening to what your customers have to say.
I am truly impressed with the service, and I wouldn't bat an eyelash at calling these guys for any other plumbing projects we have in the future. Also, they gave us a cash discount; albeit, it did feel odd paying someone thousands of dollars in 20s (the ATM only gave us 20s for some reason).
Thanks, Black Cat, and I hope you continue in your well-deserved growth.

I couldn't be more happy with black cat plumbing. I had a 3 foot drain pipe in my basement that had rusted out and was leaking. I started calling around and the first place quoted me at $700!
I then called black cat and they were very straight forward with me. The understood exactly the issue and easily scheduled a time for someone to come out.
The plumber showed up right on time, was very friendly, and had the entire job done in an hour. And the best part is it only set me back $170 for parts and labor.
I will definitely be calling them again with any plumbing needs!

We bought a water heater from Black Cat plumbing over a year ago and right before Christmas this year it appeared to have started leaking. When we called Black Cat they worked to figure out a solution to replace the unit but also suggested that the recent torrential rains might have caused some leaking in the basement. We have never had any water in the basement but it was a possibility. They sent out an employee who determined that there was a small leak in the basement wall and that the heater was fine. He suggested a product to fix the leak. We appreciated the prompt service call and the willingness to stand behind their products even though, ultimately, it had nothing to do with their water heater. Thanks, Black Cat!

After bouncing through a handful of plumbers we finally found the right guys.
Black Cat is the one you want to call.
