Extraordinarily expensive and dishonest about scope of work.

Made a tile removal and connection job sound extremely complex and tedious. The job ended up taking 40 minutes and he charged $750 and mentioned gas and tolls and a free estimate as the reason (note that this was his second visit for the same leak).

When confronted about the price he seemed fine about it so I'm sure he has a lot of 1-time customers or customers that don't understand what a fair hourly rate is for a plumber. Expecting $1000 an hour is insane, I guess plumbers make a million dollars a year now.

Sunday 1pm I jumped on Yelp to find a new plumber. Friday I paid to replace 2 air release valves on my heating system, one sprung a leak 1 hour after the plumber left. I placed a call / text to the plumber said he would return friday at the end of the day, Saturday he was on his way, but never showed up.

Sunday 1pm I figured the need to find a new plumber. Based on 5 star reviews I called Bruno I sent photos and he confirmed he'd come Monday. He arrived 9am exactly as promised. He removed the existing air release valves, cut off copper piping and soldered the joins as he re-attached the valves. The work took 1 1/4 hours, no materials other soldering equipment were used. The cost for this was $1,700.00.
As I had an important meeting which I stressed I needed to get to at 11.30am, Bruno inflated the price.
I asked if the valves the plumber installed Friday were OK, he responded yes. Actually the valves were wrong, they're for a steam system & 15 PSI. My system is baseboard with 30PSI.
I arrived home 7pm still no heat. In desperation I called my friends plumber Carmine in Brooklyn, he patiently walked me through getting my boiler pressure back up to 30 PSI. We video chatted so Carmine could view the work done by both plumbing companies.
He was sad to report that I had been taken advantage of. Trained plumbers do not solder joints they screw and crimp the pipes at joins.
Moving forward I will take to the List of Licensed Plumbers NYC publishes every 2 years to find a plumber.
The soldered joins are sweating, I need to have them replaced when I have the funds. I have Bruno 2 stars for showing up.

Great service! Bruno answered my call at 12 am and came the next day to replace my hot water heater. I am very happy with their service. If I have any plumbing issues in the future, I will definitely call him.

I had a fantastic experience with Bk Piping and Heating. A part of my ceiling collapsed from a leaking pipe, and Bruno was over to inspect the problem within hours after my call. He immediately figured out the source of the issue, and they were able to install a replacement pipe early the next day. In total, it was less than 24 hours from when I called to when my pipe was completely fixed. Amazing! I can't recommend them enough.
