The origins of Birditt Plumbing trace back to Robert ""Wayne"" Birditt, who started Valley Ditch Digging in the late 1980s, transitioning from an electrician to a plumber. His dedication became evident when he earned his master plumber certification in 1995. After serving in the Air Force in the early '90s, his son Rodney joined him, helping to grow their business. With Rodney obtaining his master plumbing license in 2003, they rebranded to Birditt Plumbing and Electrical, focusing primarily on plumbing. Regrettably, Birditt Plumbing and Electrical was unable to withstand the 2008 housing market collapse, resulting in its closure in 2011. However, their name continued to represent quality. Reilly Birditt, Rodney's son and the third generation, founded Birditt Plumbing in 2024, combining modern ideas with traditional values. Reilly underscores the Birditts' pledge to community service through dependable plumbing solutions, ensuring quality, excellence, and reliability through generational changes.

Hello, I'm Reilly! I'm a third-generation plumber and business owner. I was raised in Valley, Alabama alongside my two brothers. In my youth, I frequently ""assisted"" my dad with his plumbing business. I vividly recall fetching tools for him and fitting into small areas he couldn't access. Seeing him work imparted the importance of diligent labor and the essence of his motto, ""Do it right the first time."" That lesson stayed with me throughout my life. After we bought our first home, I found myself in need of plumbing services. Sadly, we quickly learned that good plumbers are few and far between. After much thought, my wife encouraged me to follow in my father's footsteps and become a plumber. I decided to reopen Birditt Plumbing to restore quality plumbing services to our community.
