I cannot express how completely livid, frustrated, and disappointed I am with Billy's Plumbing. The service provided has been dishonest and deceitful from the start. Unfortunately, this vendor was selected by my home insurance company, whom I have trusted In the past to make wise selections. However, this experience is leaving me doubting their decision-making, as well.

Having found a leak in our laundry room, a leak detection agent came out to evaluate the situation. He was helpful, quick and professional...suffice to say, he was NOT employed with Billy's. This agent provided a comprehensive evaluation report filled with dimensions, infrared image captures, and suggestions for repairs. This report was sent to Billy's directly, by me, when Billy's was identified as the vendor selected by home warranty. This was to ensure that they were kept abreast of the situation and were equipped to handle the job...which they insinuated they were.

Upon reaching out to Billy's to schedule an appointment, I was notified they could not come out for a week. Wanting to resolve this quicker, I called my home warranty asking for another vendor and was told by them that Billy's offered us an earlier appointment that we turned down. I should have known to be more weary of a company that LIES from the start!

Two weeks later, Billy's finally schedules an appointment between 9-12, and of course the plumber shows up 20 mins early when I was not prepared. I asked him to wait 15 mins while I managed to put our dogs away, and he decided to leave for an hour. My morning is now starting to be wasted. Moreover, I suffer an auto-immune disorder and require intense vigilance during COVID and needed to open all the doors and windows to allow fresh air flow while having a stranger in the house. With winds in the 40s, this hour wait plus the time he was here left the freshly cleaned house covered in dust. I know Billy's doesn't control the weather or viral outbreaks, but this point just adds to the frustration of what was to come next.

The plumber returns with absolutely ZERO knowledge of the situation, either neglected to read or lied about receiving the report I sent, and requires me (not a professional plumber) to try and explain the report to him. I even printed him a second copy to review, which he seemed dumbfounded by. After pointing out the spots in the laundry room that would likely need to be opened up to repair the piping, the plumber decides to start cutting into the wall (see image below) before notifying me that now I have to move my two 600lb washer and dryer out of the room for him to better access the ceiling where he would need to make additional cuts. It took 4 large men to install those washers, and now with ZERO NOTICE, I am expected to haul these machines out...by my self! The plumber explained he was not willing to move anything, or even help me! I even offered to let him stand on the machines if needed, which he refused. This leaves me wondering what would have happened if they were called out to an elderly customers home...would a 80-year-old be mandated to move the equipment...I wonder how that would work

After moving everything out of the room, disheveling our home and scratching the floors trying to at least pull the machines from the wall to allow some access, the plumber just said he'd have Billy's management call us...then just up and left without a goodbye or update on what to expect. Now here I am with my home in disarray, holes in the wall, no plan of action, and a leak without any real assistance or support. Billy's called at one point when I was attempting to move the machines and missed the call. I called back immediately, to no avail.

I have since called and texted Billy's multiple times in the past hour without response. I cannot express in strong enough terms how much I recommend that others DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME on working with this company. It is UNPROFESSIONAL, INEPT, and INCONSIDERATE! This was one of the worst home repair contractors I have ever worked with, and that is saying something; having just remodeled this home, I've been working with many, many wonderful services throughout LA and Ventura counties. It's truly disappointing that Billy's is not one of those!

We were connected to Billy's Plumbing and Rooter by our home insurance company, and are so happy they chose this company! We had a valve and hose that needed to be fixed in our powder room sink, an issue in our guest room bathroom where cold water wasn't coming through, as well as a shower leak in our master bathroom.

Fernando was so fast and efficient, fixing the guest room bathroom in record time and quickly diagnosing the master bathroom leak as a valve issue. The powder room sink required a re-visit because our water shut-off was stripped, and he returned after it was repaired and fixed in what seemed like five seconds! Not only that, but he fixed a kinked faucet hose we didn't even know we had! We are so impressed with his professional expertise. Thank you, Billy's Plumbing and Rooter, and especially Fernando!

They were called by home warranty company and came out same day and had everything fixed in less than 5 minutes. Edgar (I think that was his name) was great and took special care to not make a mess and wipe his shoes since it was raining outside. Lifesavers and would use again and recommend their service.

I called my insurance for a second opinion on a plumbing issue at my home and one of Billy's plumbers showed and but never came back. He said that his team was to call my insurance company and that the issue at my home was covered but he needed to call my insurance. He said that in the meantime he was going to a second call but was going to come back. I never heard back from the gentleman nor his office. Very unprofessional. I wouldn't recomend this business to anyone. I gave two stars because he showed up.

Water heater started leaking Wednesday, contacted Billy's and they came out ASAP. Friday we had a new water heater, however it wasn't working well. The guys did their best to diagnose the problem but turned out we needed another type of water heater. With the weekend coming up and having a family of 6, Billy's plumbers did not leave us without hot water. They installed one of their used heaters to get us through the weekend. Even though that meant they will have to remove this temporary one and still replace with the new one, they did it and what makes it even better was that they suggested it themselves. I didn't need to beg them not to leave me without water. They just got it. They even realized our water pressure regulator was broken and recommended replacing it as it was at 100! They have now done so many jobs at our home and we are satisfied with everything they do. If they can not fix it or don't have the parts we need they will attempt to give us a temporary solution (if possible) until they get the parts. Most times they are back the next day! Love these guys. Great attitude, on time, attentive and polite. Thank you Edgar, Sebastian, Pedro, Cesar, Betty, Suzanne and anyone else I forgot to mention! Thank you Billy for running a company with so many great employees.

Customers beware if you call your home warranty company and these guys come out prepare to be gouge they were charging me $1000 and the home warranty another $1000 for a water heater I finally fix it for $180. BEWARE. Sad can't trust companies
