Over the past two years--with one serious exception that is ongoing--I've been pleased with BillyGO. I've used them for a replacement capacitor on my condenser unit after hours, and was thrilled with the results. They replaced a toilet downstairs for me, came out to add a hard start to my condenser unit which was throwing my breaker, cut off and sealed a poorly built broken sprinkler line that had been damaged by the previous owner's foundation work, did checks of my heating and plumbing as a part of the membership (I'm a member, it saves 15%), and did two hydrostatic tests of my sewage and water lines.

But today, as I sit with an incredibly high bill for a two-tunnel under slab tunneling to repair a few breaks in a sewage line, I feel a bit frustrated. The job is: two access points under my slab, one for an up-to-15 foot tunnel and one for an up-to-20 foot tunnel. They subcontract out to a crew that digs down, excavates the soil, locates and repairs the pipes, and then backfills, etc. There is no permit required, is my understanding, because it's not over the limit of length for a tunnel.

The price is $21,200. They reduced this by $1,000 but I haven't yet seen the price breakdown they promised. In my situation, my sewage insurance endorsement on my homeowner's policy covers $2,500 to $10,000 based on the age of the plumbing, and I'll probably only get $2,500 covered.

I understand that major excavations can be expensive and as a business professor, I'm no stranger to profit margins and operating costs. I get it. Good work costs money, and BillyGO has always done good, reliable work for me.

But today, I genuinely feel a bit gouged, after asking a couple of other very highly rated plumbers just for their opinion with no chance of taking the job. One service said he wouldn't take the job now if I went with them instead because it would have to be too expensive to start over. But he did say despite the cost, BillyGO at least does good work and is reputable, which I knew.

Look, I'm on a time crunch. I need to make this repair before my re-inspection date in 16 days prior to closing in order to sell my house, so I'm a bit of a captive buyer. I want to endorse BillyGO wholeheartedly but after this experience, I'm more than a little jaded. Yes, I accepted the quote. Yes, I put $5,000 down (explained to me as $2,500 per access point for the tunnels), and I agreed to let them continue. But I have no choice, now. And it's better to keep my buyer in the game to sell him my home and cut my losses than look for a more reasonable price elsewhere, and lose my buyer.

Shop around. Could you find a high quality service to make two tunnels totaling 30-35 feet in tunneling for less than $21,000? I bet if I gave you 5-6 chances, you'd do it every time. And that's what bothers me about this. Again, they came down by $1,000 on the price which I appreciate, but the price is still far too high compared to all the information I am finding from other providers and online, and I didn't know better when I put down $5,000-nor did I have much of an option given my time constraints, even if I had wanted to back out and go with a different provider.

I'm disappointed on this one, and unfortunately it colors all the other experiences I had with BillyGO. I hope they make it right.

On Saturday June 30 2022 this company came out charged 331.00 to snake a drain and by Tuesday August 2 2022 it was stopped up again. I called the company and was told that he snaked the line and removed the roots from the neighbors tree. He did not remove any roots which she finally stated. She said she would have him call me. He did not call. She also stated that she would speak to the general manager but, I've heard absolutely nothing from them. Just go with a reputable plumber that won't gouge you and stay far away from this one is the best advice I've got. I had to get another plumber out today to snake again and to remove the roots. There was supposed to be a 30 day warranty but, with no call back the warranty seems as useless as the service.

DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPLE. They can't even set a commode properly. I had emergency surgery two times in two days and while I was in the hospital, they came to my house, and charged my wife 140 dollars to pull and reset the toilet. After the so called "tech" left, she tried to flush it and it would not flush. 10 days in the hospital, I come home to find that the commode offset from center. Meaning that the commode and sewer flange are out of line. I spent three years doing plumbing and pulled and reset hundreds of commodes. This is not rocket science. It's barely plumbing. It sure ain't "Tech"nical. I've called them and begged for help to no avail. They will come out Monday afternoon. THEY boast about 24 hour service, knowledgeable "techs". Unless you just like to be pi$$Ed off and taken advantage of, then use them. But they will take advantage of people that don't know plumbing and once they have the cash they will dash. DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPLE. I only gave one star because I could't give a half of one. They are good at showing up and taking the money. AAAUUUUUUGGGGGHHHH.

One of their technician quoted us $4000 for coil replacement. Said that he can put refrigerant for $1000 cash with no warranty. Said that it is just between us and him.

Being a member of the Porsche Club and getting recommendations from a member there I figured this was the place to go. It's been over 100* lately and takes the house forever to cool off, they keep saying someone will come out and take a look, but no one has shown up yet. From other folks I have talked to after the fact I find out they are very expensive, other reviews backup this claim. Beware.

Billy Go came for a scheduled service today. I showed that we had a drip around the drain into the drain pan which was just starting to rust. The service man opened the coolant box pointed out that we had a leak in the coil and offered quotes for replacing the whole system or just the coolant box system (this is way expensive). I advised I would need to think about it. The tech left. I went up to the attic to check on his clean up to find that he had left the coolant box open and blowing air into the attic. Not happy. I called and same tech came back to close and (aluminum) tape the seal. I got a call from a supervisor to discuss service call and during call he laughed. I asked if he was laughing at me. He said no...he was listening to someone else who had said something funny...while he was talking to me.

The whole experience was unprofessional and leaving the cooling box is something I'd think a little kid might do. Anyway, I will not be using BillyGo in the future.
Also, now I do seem to have an issue with my AC keeping the house cool as it is running nearly nonstop.

We had a leak related emergency last night and didn't know who to call. We tried a few other businesses and everyone else was booked or closed. Thankfully we found these guys. The friendly and responsive dispatcher put us in touch with Quan who came to our rescue at almost midnight and stayed until 2 AM.
We really appreciate him coming all the way from Allen to our home over an hour away from his after he had just returned home for the night. Sorry Quan's wife (-__-;). Thanks for your help guys!

I needed to replace the water outlet behind the fridge. BillyGo was the only provider available to take care of the leak before it caused even more damage. I don't have a solid grasp of rates on plumbing jobs but I have a strong sense that I have over paid for the service.
Other than this, I am satisfied with the titimelineslynes, responsiveness and quality of work done.

If you value money do not use this company. Are the responsive? Yes. Do they do good work? Yes pretty much. If you have no other option and have a major issue, maybe use them. But I would recommend trying your hardest to find another company. I can give you a list of 5 other plumbers just as good and 1/2 to 1/3 the cost. I believe if you don't know any better then you would pay the price. I used them 2 years ago and the price was low and competitive. Fast forward to now and the cost has increased more than 400% for labor only. That's ridiculous.

I read multiple negatives renews about BillyGO and was initially very skeptical.
Yes, I would admit their prices are slightly on the high end. However, I'm giving five stars, and I do not regret paying a little more for the outstanding service I received from the technician named Rhetts and their schedule/administrative service.
Rhetts came on time 100% prepared to identify the issue with my water heater and explained the root of the problem and ways to resolve it.
He is very knowledgeable and knows how to do his diligence and think out of scope.
He is the guy who goes above and beyond to get things done well.
No such nonsenses like; This is a unique problem, this is not as easy as it may appear, I need to run to Home Depot, or I cannot do this because I have another customer in an Hour, etc.
I do not know about all technicians working at this company. But I highly recommend BillyGO if you want service on time and Rhetts as a technician for all your plumbing needs.
Also, scheduling on their website is as simple as it gets, without stupid questions, just straight to the point.
