This was the best plumber experience we have had. We had a clogged kitchen sink and made the mistake of trying to get Roto-Rooter to come clear it first. I knew where the clog was and just needed a plumber to snake it for us. BTSP gave us a quote over the phone and worked with us to get a plumber out as soon as possible. Roto-rooter was the exact opposite, they wouldn't give a quote over the phone and eventually wanted to charge $570 for something Billy the Sunshine Plumber charged $175 for. Thankfully, we made the right call and went with BTSP. When their plumber Mark came out, we was friendly, communicative and professional. He was wearing a mask without being asked to and made sure to be as safe as possible. He worked fast and updated me along the way with what was going on. He quickly fixed the problem and made sure everything was working before he left. I will be asking for Mark by name if I need work done in the future. Great company and I highly recommend them.

If you need a new flapper for your toilet, this is the company for you! If you need anything beyond this...I would not recommend! Had an extremely horrible experience! Due to their negligence, cost us hundreds of dollars in water bills!! They/ didn't listen to us at all, talked over both of us. Came out about 5 times and couldn't figure out how to stop our toilet from running! Turns out it was the fill valve that they installed the first time out that wasn't working properly! I told this plumber several times that it wasn't running before he installed this fill valve! This company is absolutely incompetent, we received no apologies or money off!

It took him three hours to put in a drop in sink that I purchased as recommended by office. He took two personal phone calls one about financing on his car and another from his buddy about picking up a water heater on my dime at $149 hour. He also talked to my neighbor outside on my dime. He had to go to Home Depot for a hose are you serious your a plumber. He went to his truck about ten times and never wore a mask. I feel ripped off. I called the office a couple times the last time she said she would get back to me still waiting. Total rip off

We had an after hours emergency. We were lucky enough to have an experienced, courteous, and professional plumber come out. Services rendered after hours are charged a premium, but it was worth it. Our technician, JR was determined to solve our issue despite the rain he encountered while working outside at night. He got us back in business and even dealt with our landlord on the phone to explain all the work he did. Again, we were lucky to get JR, and even though we hope we don't need their services again, we will call on Billy the Sunshine Plumber again.

Fantastic experience. We had a leak in the pipes behind our tub wall -- pipes that were installed 70 years ago. Not something I wanted to see when we're getting ready to sell a house. We called Billy and they came out a couple days later to replace everything behind the wall, as well as the faucet handles and even a new shower head. They did great work and even cleaned up afterwards. The pricing with better than 3 other high rated (from the Nextdoor app) plumbers, so great all around.

Absolute dishonesty. I hired this plumber to replace a toilet, flange pipe and other parts in the upstairs bathroom of my rental property. Just a few short months later major water damage started to leak down into the downstairs kitchen. When I called this plumber, they denied the damage was a result of their work. On top of all that they had the audacity to charge me for them to come out to take a look. So I called three other plumbers to come out and take a look (for free), each of the three plumbers said this damage was due to the incorrectly installed toilet and other parts. Thousands of dollars later, I had to replace all plumbing parts, walls and cabinetry. Do not hire this plumber. Dishonest and poor workmanship.

Had an excellent experience...they came right out and did our fairly small repair on the spot. Another business had sent out a technician for a """"service call"""" for this repair....twice! And still wouldn't come back for another week to actually complete the repair so we moved on. Billy's came recommended in our neigborhood and we will pass on this recommendation.

Had guests visiting and hot water faded out from guest shower. Also a sink in there I could never get to drain properly. Mark and James still got to me that day and did a quick diagnosis. Showed up bright and early the next day and knocked it out. I must say I was impressed with the professionalism and knowledge, even though that's what I was expecting. Would always recommend this company, and especially Mark and James.

The guys that did the work were great and very flexible. My job had a couple of mishaps that were my fault. I purchased a toilet that didn't fit due to the granite shelf in the bathroom. I guess there is a big difference in toilet height since my house was built due to ADA compliance. The guys agreed to come back later for hopefully a small fee. I went out to Lowe's who didn't have any toilets that would fit. Home Depot only had one and the box wouldn't fit in the car. The guys said they could swing by and get it. They were in and out in a short period of time. For all of that, I'd gladly rate 5 stars. I expected the job to cost more, but it went from $195 quote over the phone to $294, which seems excessive. In addition, they charge an extra 3% if you want to use a credit card.

For a number of years I have used this business for all my plumbing needs and they proved to be a reputable source for plumbing service. However apparently things have changed. I contacted them this past week for a number of simple plumbing repairs and installation of a bathroom faucet. They arrived later than scheduled, neglected to call prior to their arrival and only completed half the work. We rescheduled for the following day to finish the job and was advised that a morning appointment would be scheduled to ensure completion. After waiting all morning, I placed a call to the office and was informed that do to scheduling they were running behind, however I was still on the calendar for completion. In the late afternoon I received a call from a less than enthusiastic plumber who stated that he was in route, however would not be able to complete all the work still needed from yesterdays appointment. With somewhat of an attitude, I was also informed that since he had a helper with him, the pricing would be set at 150.00 per hour and would likely go into overtime beyond 4:30 pm. Given the circumstances and the negative attitude, I postponed the job and once again contacted their office. As expected, the owner was not in and has since failed to return my call. To sum things up,these guys are less than professional, terrible at scheduling,Ill-prepared to complete the work and way more expensive than their local competitors.
