STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS, They provided me with a quote of $4585 for plumbing work (slab leak), however when asked to provide details for insurance purposes, they refused. Don't waste your time with Billy Bell plumbing, there are too many other plumbers out there, find another one. My advise..... skip steps 1-6 and go directly to step 7 My Billy Bell Plumbing Experience..... I had water seeping up from my living room floor and it was determined to be a pipe leak in the slab/foundation. 1) I contacted Billy Bell Plumbing to provide a quote for the repair. 2) Their employee came to my home and provided a quote for $4585 with one line explanation stating leak detection, slab work and pipe repair. 3) The insurance company contacted Billy Bell for clarification and were provided a new number $3096 with no justification. 4) Since Leak detection and Access & Restore are covered by the insurance, but the actual pipe repair is not. I contacted the employee that provided the original quote and asked for the following simple breakout of the quote a. Leak detection b. Access & Restore ( demo and restore slab to get access the broken pipe) c. Repair Broken pipe 5) The employee stated he would provide the details. a. day one.... No Quote details provided. b. day two ... The employee reaffirmed details would be provided by end of day and at the end of the day... No Quote details provided. 6) The owner of Billy Bell called and he refused to provide justification for his own quote. All he offered was a long list of excuses..... Who knows where they came with $4585 or $3096, I don't think they even know 7) Find a new plumber

We called Billy Bell because we had a clogged drain, he was responsive and came within a few hours. He removed our toilet and began to run the snake to break up the clog. The machine seemed to be struggling so he was jerking it around pretty hard. Then he said something broke and he thought he had it fixed so he started running water, well it wasn't fixed and flooded the bathroom and went downstairs and flooded the ceiling of the bathroom downstairs. Now what a mess. Then he ran a camera down the pipe and said that the clog was outside. He dug a hole, found the clog and said that our septic was no good. He was here about 6-7 hours over the course of 2 days. We were charged $5500. He said to fix the problem the cost would be between 8000 and 28,000. We stopped payment on the $5500 check when we found out it should have been around $1800. We are now heading to court for damages. STAY AWAY FROM BILLY BELL PLUMBING !!!!! We have since had the plumbing issues fixed by a reputable company for a fraction of the cost.

Had these folks move supply and drains for a half bath to a different part of the house, relocate a water heater and run a new buried propane line from tank to furnace - couldn't be happier. Price was absolutely outstanding, beating 3 other bids by a country mile, done sooner, and with better work than anyone I had ever used when I lived in metro Atlanta during the prior three decades. Can't say that I understand the negative reviews; Drake and Nick were professional, communicative and considerate. Maybe there are some bad eggs in the firm (or more likely, were), but not these guys. I plan to use them again in the very near future.

MUCH TOO EXPENSIVE. Nice and repsonsive, but charged more than triple the market rate for high pressure cleaning of main drain line to septic tank. $2100. Others would charge about $650.

I live in Cresswind at Lake Lanier in Gainesville. Bill Bell plumbing installed the bathroom in my unfinished loft. They finished the project on-time and at the price quoted. Special Kudo's to Drake and Matthew! They were the installation team assigned to my project. They were professional, technically expert, and always responsive. I highly recommend Billy Bell plumbing!!!

They quoted me $385 to assess my well issue. I agreed, but the charge was actually $400. The assessment was that I had a 50ft well with 20ft of water and to replace everything except the pressure tank would be $4600. That's a bit higher than the national average, so I decided to buy the parts at a big box store for around $1500 and did the work myself... based on their assessment. Here's the problem: the well isn't 50ft deep and there is only 3ft of water in it. They used a tape measure to test depth of well and depth of water, so you can imagine how surprised I was when I did the same thing with a weight and a rope. A total of 3ft of water... NOT 20ft. Really big difference. They have a lot of competitors in their area, so you have plenty of resources. They'll show up right away, use small talk to see how much they can charge you, then stick it to you. Best part? They called a few days later asking for a Google reference! I'm NOT kidding! I'd be really suspicious of their Google reviews... except for the 1-star review that has pictures of their shoddy workmanship.

We called Billy Bell Plumbing on Feb 9, 2023 to unclog our sink. When they arrived , they told my wife the service charge would be $285. After unhooking the drain pipes they told her , because of the grease buildup, the charge would be $1300. She did not know what to do because everything had been unhooked, so she said , go ahead. They used a snake to unclog the drain and used a treatment substance. She paid the bill with a credit card. After I got home , she told me what the charge was. We could not believe the one hour they were in the house justified a $1300 bill. We have attempted to reach the owner to discuss the issue, but he refuses to take our call. Our advice is to avoid using Billy Bell Plumbing for any of your needs.
