DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! They intentionally up-charge their services and take advantage of people. The workers and owner have clearly no idea how to properly talk to customers and are not willing to resolve issues you have with them.

BEWARE of this company--- they say its going to cost one thing and then it becomes way more! The purchaser with the plumbing problem said that she was not going to pay the extra costs until she spoke to someone at Billy Bell. The guys threatened her that they were going to call the cops. He told his partner-- you stay with her I will go out and call the cops. She called 911 and then made the guy leave her home and closed the garage door until the cops came. The police came and they talked it over she could not get anyone on the phone in the office of Billy Bell. All they did was loosen and dump out a clogged trap at the kitchen sink. She agreed to pay $285. Then they said it was going to be $550+ and then said if we had used the machine it would have been $880+ She was totally taken advantage of as a woman. She is still working it out with the office that she finally got in touch with and they charge a $22 fee to use a credit card but good thing she did so that she can stop payment. The guys were adamant that she had to pay onsite. She said ok so if you wrote 1 million on the invoice I am suppose to just pay that??????

Quoted 296 for sve fee was told it would be applied to cost of repair. They did not. Charged 1196 to use our glue and our old fitting faucet and did a patch job. Broke our wall left a mess. Left before turning water back on. Did not apply svc charge to total. Do not communicate after being contacted for credit back. Have said they would get acknowledged to me for 2 weeks now but nothing has been done. Horrible job. Would not recommend. Sub par work.

Drake with Billy Belk Plumbing did an ama I g job help g us fix our plumbing issues! I highly recommend them for your plumbing needs in Gainesville!

Pin hole leak in copper tubing at the water heater. Two couplings, one elbow, about 4 inches of 1/2 inch copper tubing, and 1.5 hours work counting drive time. The bill was $410. In my opinion, about $150 too much.

We have two homes on a property we just bought and noticed water pressure issues in the main house. Then we noticed there was almost NO pressure in the second house. I called the office and the woman told me it would be $275 for a service call to see what is wrong and if I hired them, that amount would be taken off the cost of the repair. Jason came out and spent MAYBE thirty minutes. He checked the pressure downstairs and changed the water filter. He determined nothing was wrong there so we went down to the well and he saw an old galvanized pipe in the top of the well and immediately said """"that's the problem. It's old pipe and needs to be replaced."""" He saw water on the ground and said """"there's a leak right there. I can come back tomorrow and run a new line for $5200."""" Apparently there are two pumps running from the same well to each of the houses. We told him we would like to think about it and would let them know since the primary issue (pipe busted) was running to the second house. He shut the water off to the second home and requested his $275. We called another company for a second opinion. They came out and dug up the leak (no charge) which was less than a foot underground. The pipe was NOT galvanized and the break was small and easily repaired. The galvanized pipe he saw was simply running across the well to hold the pump. The second company told us they could come back and do the repair for $150-$200. A couple weeks later we called billy bell back since we had already paid them $275. We were informed that it would cost an additional $550 to fix the leak that the other company had already dug up...so a total of $825. We decided to repair the leak ourselves, costing us about $8.00 and 15 minutes of our time. I own a small service business and I am absolutely understanding of being paid your worth, but this is outrageous.

I contacted Billy Bell Plumbing when I noticed a drop in water pressure in my house. They informed my that the visit would be $275.00 to check out the problem and that the fee charged would be used towards the repair if we chose to use them. Jason, one of their repairmen came out and found that there was a leak in the water line between the well and the house. He then informed my that the line was old galvanized pipe (it is an older house) and that the best thing would be to run a new line from the well to the house. The cost would be $5200.00. I told him that I wanted to think about it. After he left, I dug up the leak and found the water line. It was actually black polypropylene line NOT galvanized and is very easy to repair. The fitting to repair this line is 62 cents at Home Depot. Out of curiosity, I contacted a reputable plumbing contractor in the area and he quoted me $1200.00 to run a new line NOT $5,200. While this was frustrating, I decided to call Billy Bell back and ask if they could repair the water line since I had already paid them $275 and this was to be used towards a repair. I just got off the phone with Jason and he quoted me an additional $550 to make this repair. This is for a leak, that I dug up and the pipe is exposed and ready to repair. All that was necessary was for him to cut the line and install a 62 cent barbed fitting. I am in shock. If I had listened to this shyster, I would be out $5200 for a repair that only requires a 62 cent part. Furthermore, he tried to charge me $825 for this repair. This is very unethical and should be criminal. I would never recommend using this company as they are just out to take peoples' money. I work in the housing industry and am constantly asked for my advice on different service providers that deal with home construction and repair. I will never recommend this company and will advise people to avoid them. I take google reviews very seriously as I used to own a business.

Billy Bell Plumbing came out today to pump my septic tank, they did a great job but did not give me an estimate before hand. After the job was finished the cost was $550.00. The Pink Plumber would do the same job for $149.00. I will know better the next time !

I wish I wasn't in a bind when my septic backed up at a house we had just moved to but that was the situation. Called quickly because my wife was not amused that septic water was in our basement. My father & uncle were in the construction business & my son is in it now. I was in the remodeling business for 13+ years. These folks come out on an emergency charge. The two young men were nice enough & were able to locate the cleanouts for the septic & relieve the pressure. They tell me the lid to the tank had been tampered with. All fine. They give me a $400 """"emergency"""" bill for poking around with the poker into the ground & digging for maybe an hour tops. Again, I was in a bind so I guess I'll eat it. Then as Jarred Smith is leaving, he says it'll be $2250 to pump my septic & run a camera to check the field lines. He's a nice enough young fellow, they both were, but why are they trying to gouge a firefighter so badly? I guess they thought I knew nothing about plumbing. Anyway, he was supposed to call & have the truck out to the house the following morning, which I had no intention of letting that happen at that price, but I waited and my wife called a few times to see why there was no return call that morning (she still believes I'm going to overpay by leaps & bounds & she really just wanted it done because we were having family come over the next day). Jarred calls & says he's been busy on another job & that he is sorry he didn't call earlier. Then he proceeds to inform me that """"after talking to his supervisor"""" my steep hill where the septic is located on my property is going to need a """"special"""" truck & instead of $2250, the price is now $4250. To pump a septic tank & check the field lines Billy Bell Plumbing wanted to GOUGE a public servant (meaning not flushed with money) for $4250. I told him to just call back whenever this supposed """"special"""" truck was available. No callback. Chris Mote Pumping Service came out the next day after I called them. They had zero problem with our steep terrain nor did they have a problem getting their """"non-special"""" truck in our driveway. Septic pumped for $475. Maybe these people at Billy Bell Plumbing think everyone is an idiot or maybe they've ripped enough people off in the past that doing an honest days work for an honest days pay no longer appeals to them but they should certainly be ashamed of themselves. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY EVER!

Bill and Brandon responded immediately to our plumbing emergency; very happy with their professionalism and fixing our water leak. I wouldn't hesitate to call them again
