A fitting had cracked in the water supply to my bath/shower faucet, so I had them come out and replace it. They fixed the leak, and told me they would replace the faucet with a Delta product. What they didn't tell me was that it would be a cheap Delta product that had a one-dimensional control, meaning I can only control the water temperature and not the volume. So now I have a bath where the water options are no water, or it comes out full force. My leak is fixed, but it doesn't make a great deal of difference now since the bath is basically unusable to me.
They also fixed a leak in one of the lines to my washing machine, but instead of replacing the joint where the leak was occuring, they just chopped off the pipe above the joint and installed a new spigot there. So now my hot and cold water lines are about 9-12 inches different in height. It doesn't make a difference as far as function goes, but it just looks rough and cheap. They also made zero attempt to clean up afterwards, so there were several lengths of pipe left behind and some other stuff for me to clean up.
I was not impressed. I suppose I should have asked to see the bath hardware before the installed it, but I didn't know that anyone these days even made a faucet that wouldn't allow you to control the water volume. Even cheap hotel rooms and apartments have hardware that allows that. They weren't really any cheaper than anyone else, so for the rates they charge, I think there are better options out there.
