I have used Bill's Plumbing, Heacting... since buying my house in 2020. I have been very happy with the service until now, but my most recent experience was unacceptable. I was given an estimate for a gas valve replacement, and after the work was completed I was given a bill for more than twice what the estimate was. I called Bill and asked him why I wasn't made aware before the work was done, he started YELLING at me. HE said that if I wasn't happy, he could take the valve back and leave me without heat. I asked why he was getting so aggressive with me for asking a question and he continued to yell at me that he t being aggressive and that he was given the wrong quote for the part. I told him i was happy to pay the bill since the work was done, but that I would have appreciated being given an accurate quote before work was done in the future. after some more yelling, I asked him where I could send a check.

Unprofessional and unacceptable. I will never be using this company again or referring others.

Bills Plumbing Heating and Air Conditioning replaced our entire heating and AC system and water heater . They were here when they said cleaned up to perfection and very professional and kind . Just moved to horseheads, bought a house and there was a gas leak. called bills on a Saturday and they came out within 30 minutes. Got the job done quick and was very nice!! 100% recommended!! Saved our lives

Been using Bill for about 4 years to service my 28 year old boiler systems. He kept them limping along until I was ready to install new propane furnaces. He did a great job removing the old fuel tanks and working with me to install first one furnace then the other so we had continuous heat during a cold season. He took responsibility to work with the propane tank installers as well. Sn=mott, clean job. New furnaces performed brilliantly.

Called and received phone call within an HR. and asked for a price on cleaning a boiler and said he would get back to me and ""never"" did..Would highly not recommend!!

We had recently moved into a home in Elmira and less than 2 mos in, NYSEG found leaks in our basement pipes. They shut off our water tank, furnace & locked the meter and advised me to contact a plumber out of the phone book. The previous owner of home had used Sheesley's for sewer line, so I called them. They do not do electrical plumbing but suggested I contact Bill's. GLAD I DID! They were fast to arrive, efficient, and had our heat/water back on in a few hours. Bill even handled contacting NYSEG while he was here to have them test & turn services back on. When you are new in the area & have to rely on recommendations, it is hard to know what to expect. I would highly suggest using Bill's and we will be having him return in the spring for other work. He was able to answer questions about our fire place & wood burning stove and did not seem to mind explaining. USE THEM!
