Once again I am
Overwhelmed by the superb service done installling a new Toto toilet in our half bath. The plumber today Crockett was exceptional, professional, and did an amazing job. We went with a recommended higher seat toilet due to our ages and the color was a complete match to the tiled walls. I am extremely impressed with this company. Their service is impeccable and everything is in top shape cleaned and as it was found when the job is completed!

One of the employees put a 1/2 inch dent in our copper line. I didn't notice it for a couple days and when I asked them to come back I had my mother in law meet them because I was away. A different employee came over and actually raised his voice at my mother in law because he became defensive, denying that Bills crew did the damage. I reported the incident to Bill and he dismissed the subject of professionalism and rather than apologize for having an employee raise their voice at my mother in law he cut me off to tell me, ""look we fixed the pipe"" insinuating that the issue is done and there was no point for me to continue.
Also one of his employees submitted a report to my insurance company stating that we did not have water damage. Thankfully my civil engineer disagreed.
Also when discussing the best way to diagnose our plumbing leak I was trying to get creative w cost by asking questions about various diagnostic methods. He called me a jack ass and said if I didn't submit to his recommended method at his demanded price that he was gonna walk from the job.
Well we went w his recommended way, paid a pretty dollar, and they missed the diagnosis drastically.
***for some context, these events happened back in 10/2020. I did not go on yelp today to write a plumbing review. Rather, I went on here to give a 5 star review to the Wahoos on beach and Warner. In the process, yelp asked me what I thought of Bill Metzger plumbing. Well honestly out of our whole flood and remodel situation that took 9 months, one of the most stressful parts was working and talking with Bill. I hope this helps someone who is looking to remodel or rebuild. Of course every interaction is different so definitely check out other leak detection or remodel reviews.

We just moved in to a new place and we were having some issues hooking up the water line to our fridge, these guys were so quick and professional had the whole job done in 5 minutes! And they were able to make it by within a few hours of our call since it wasn't an emergency. Had a great experience with them and will call again!

We had a shower that only gave out hot water and had poor water pressure. Metzger's tech arrived on time and fixed the problem in less than an hour. The repair was expensive, a price that surprised me. But the shower is now usable. I'm not aware of repair prices in today's market. Perhaps that was a fair price for this job.

Not sure what happened today but this was the worst customer service I have experienced in quite some time. Commitment to an 8-12 show up with a 30 minute call ahead. Both my wife and I had commitment today so I had my mother in law come over at 11 to cover when my wife had to leave. No call from them so I called from my event today at 12:20 and was told they would contact the tech and have him call me. No response. I called back at 2:27 after no call and they said they would again call the tech and have him call me. Got a call from the office finally at 2:45 and asked what was going on, not much info but she said they could do in in the morning. I told her first thing in the am, she said she would talk to the tech and get back to me, no return call. At 6:30 I get a text saying I am scheduled for 8-12 mañana. I called and cancelled the service and will find someone else. Really sad that I did most of the follow up since they made the commitment of 8-12 today. If they are too busy just tell me you can't be there until the following day and if I can't live with that I will find someone else. Too bad you can't talk directly to the office, they are insulated from issues like this with a call center.

Update I had a good conversation with Eric in regards to the issue. They are moving back to in house customer service folks and they are in transition. He offered sincere apologies and accepted responsibility for the issue. I would give them a second chance next time I need a plumber.

It's really rare when you find a service provider that is responsive, honest, competent, and reasonable. It's even more rare when you find one during a pandemic that goes out of their way to help you and treat you fairly, and on 4th of July Holiday! I had a situation where a water heater went out where I was spending some vacation time and had guests coming over. BILL Metzger Plumbing was one of four Plumbers I had contacted; actually thanks to positive YELP reviews. Bill was the most responsive, polite, and accurate of all of the service providers that I was vetting for this job. Even better, his staff was so professional, meticulous with his work and regard to safety. They expedited the delivery and installation of a water heater that will fit in this cabinet like you would never have imagined possible. I am really thankful that there are professionals like BILL Metzger in business. It's a lost art in providing outstanding customer service and as far as Plumbers go, they win 1st Place.
