Bill Metzger's Rambo and Ryan did a truly wonderful job handling a number of plumbing projects during the renovation of our almost 100 year old house. Rambo was particularly knowledgeable and helpful as we figured out the best way to proceed with very old plumbing. We really appreciated that despite a long drive, their estimates were free and they took their time explaining things in detail. Their estimate/ approval process was clear, straightforward, very fairly priced, and always consistent with the final bill. We were impressed to learn that they keep everything they need right on their trucks, saving time and return trips. Rambo and Ryan did truly wonderful work, and we're happy to have found excellent plumbers!

Our easy job turned hard job was a bit of a rollercoaster, but one thing remained consistent - the team's unwavering dedication to ensuring we were taken care of. Huge shout out to Rambo, Rob, Jason, Brian, and Daniel (and the rest of the crew that was here that I didn't name!!) for their consistent drive towards excellent customer service. We must've called Rambo and Jason a combined 20+ times - they were ALWAYS there for us! Rob is also the jack of all trades - super impressed with his finishes!!

I recently used Bill Metzger Plumbing to diagnose/repair a water issue. I came home on a Saturday morning in February to find water streaming down the wall that separates my kitchen and front living room. BMP was referred by my neighbor who had used them in the past and I was grateful for the referral. By the time I connected with someone, they weren't able to come out until Sunday mid morning. The technician promptly identified and repaired the water issue - a pipe burst. I was completely satisfied with the plumbing work provided and associated costs. They didn't charge an up charge for a Sunday appointment, which I was pleased about.

The primary reason I am writing this review pertains to the referral I received from the technician who completed the repair. The technician informed me I needed to get a mitigation company out right away (same day) to dry up the water to prevent additional damage. He offered to call a company that could come out that day. Enter Fast Dry and the owner, Josh Antezana. Josh arrived within an hour and reinforced what the plumber had stated - I needed to act quickly to minimize damage. My kitchen cabinets were at risk because of the water between the wall. He had a moisture reader and was showing me where there was water in my walls. He stated I needed someone that was going to be on my side and that wouldn't be the insurance company. He said all the right things to influence me to work with hiim. I agreed.

In near 5 decades and owning 8 different homes, this the the first home claim or water issue I have had. I know, I am fortunate, but also inexperienced navigating this. I took Josh at his word. This was the biggest mistake.

He completely took advantage of me bringing in extra dryers when he found out insurance would pay for the claim. He brought in so many dryers that it kept tripping the circuit my refrigerator was connected to. I had to ask his guy to come up with another set up. He didn't tape off the kitchen to seal in the space he was trying to dry out and the fans were running for days drying out my entire house. I emailed them the day his guy brought in extra fans asking for a quote since I had seen none and no pricing and I wanted to understand total cost. He didn't respond. I later learned they were supposed to come back every other day to take a moisture reading to see if continued drying was necessary but they didn't check on the fans at all after completing the set up. A few fans were in place for 7 days, the bulk running straight for 5 days. The insurance adjuster came out the day after all the extra fans had been brought in and he informed me the fans used were excessive and highlighted where there were issues that they hadn't sealed off the space properly. All along the way, Josh is telling me he is there to take care of me.


I nearly fell over when Fast Dry submitted a $26K invoice to my insurance company. The amount of water didn't justify the number of fans or this amount. I started reviewing the invoice in detail and noted charges that were never incurred. They claimed these used a respirator and 4 cartridge replacements when the gentleman working on site never wore a respirator let alone had a need to replace the cartridge 4 times. They billed me for a trailer to haul away debris but no trailer was ever used. They charged me for an excessive amount of fans and refused to provide detail when I asked for a summary of fans that were on my property each day. In effort to get detail regarding the invoice, I spoke with the billing office and guy who prepares the invoice and negotiates with insurance companies on cost that will be covered. He told me he prepares invoices based on the standars specs that should have been used instead of getting actuals from the team on site completing the work. The billing office also informed me the owner (Josh A) told her It was on me to provide photos as documentation to contradict the fees I was questioning on the invoice.


My insurance company had the invoice reviewed by a 3rd party and their assessment indicated Fast Dry used/tried to bill for excessive amount of equipment that wasn't needed for the space. The independent review indicated the invoice should have been ~$11K. All of this on top of they damaged my kitchen cabinets performing the mitigation services and that damage isn't covered by Fast Dry or my insurance company.

Needless to say, I will never work with Fast Dry again and hope my review saves others from a similar situation. I am most disappointed that I discovered and chose Fast Dry based on the plumber's referral. I called Bill Metzger Plumbing to share my honest feedback after receiving multiple texts to provide a review on Yelp of their plumbing services. I informed them they probably wanted to hear my feedback in person. I called twice trying to reach someone in a leadership position to share feedback and was unsuccessful in connecting with anyone. My house was built in the 1940s and the pipes are nearing the end of their life. The sink and the shower in the bathroom stopped draining. Called Bill Metzger Plumbing in the morning and Parker came out that afternoon. The pipes were so corroded by the hard water in San Clemente that even his smallest snake wouldn't go through the sink drain. The shower cleared. After the removal of the original pipes under the sink it was discovered that the sludge was so thick nothing would go through. He kept at it and eventually went from 50% clear to 90% clear through the remaining pipe. He installed new connections and now we have running drains on that side of the house.

Throughout the entire effort he kept me informed of the options which really helped me with my decisions. One of the options included video camera work of all the sewer drains and hydro-jet cleaning the roots in the sewer line. I also had him install a water softener system to help slow down the calcium deposits on the old pipes throughout the house.

Parker did a fantastic job. He was professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. Great job Parker!
