I have used Bill's Plumbing 4 or 5 times since I found him in 2012. He has always returned my calls promptly, and he shows up on time with the right tools. He has accommodated my schedule every time. Look at some of the pictures he has on Facebook. Truly a professional. He doesn't charge enough for what he does. It doesn't get any better than this!

Bill Johnson was a pleasure to work with. I wanted to change out three old toilets. He gave me lots of advice and went to considerable trouble checking out available options for me. He installed my new toilets carefully, and adjusted for one uneven old tile floor so the toilet would sit properly.
He was fun to talk to, and certainly knew all the ins and outs of toilets and how they work.

5...HUNDRED STARS!! The last honest, hilarious, kind and super-skilled plumber on the planet. And that's not an exaggeration.
Bill came out because after we attempted and failed at replacing our own toilet, we knew we needed a professional. Previous owners had rigged the flange, and we were super worried it was going to turn into a plumbing nightmare. It didn't, thanks to Bill. To boot, he swapped out our garbage disposal while he was here. And??? He's a genuine, sweet, funny and honest guy. Like, seriously, I want this man to come over for Thanksgiving.
The following week I called last minute to see if he could come to our friend's house to fix her shower nozzle, as a surprise birthday gift for her. No problem! On time to the minute, yet again, cheerful, explanatory and fast.
Honestly? I didn't feel like he charged enough, so on both visits I tipped. So should you!
I am so, SO happy to have a go-to plumber who I know is not just skilled and honest, but a genuinely good person. Damn, that's rare.
Especially if you live in American Canyon, or thereabouts, stop looking, and call Bill. Now. Honestly? I keep finding myself looking for plumbing issues, just so I can give Bill a ring! Funny, but true!!

Great guy! I found his business on yelp and realized we were neighbors. Super nice and does excellent work. He works fast and his prices are great. He will get back to you very fast if you give him a call!! I like that Bill uses high quality materials when replacing any parts as opposed to other companies and then charge u an arm and leg for it to break or be defective a few months later. Will for sure use him again if we have plumbing problems. Thanks Bill!!

Bill was referred to us by a friend and we couldn't have asked for better! Long story as short as possible: Our water main broke and, because we live on a private road, it was all ours to deal with! Calls to Gotelli, Gene Burch, Petersen, Benjamin Franklin, and American Leak led to estimates between $14,000 and $20,000 with everyone recommending we change out the entire line. Admittedly, it is a 50 year old galvanized pipe, but when we asked about addressing just the leak first and dealing with the bigger problem if and when we got to that bridge, no one really wanted to do that.

I was just getting ready to bite the bullet when my friend told me about Bill. I called him, he was honest about how busy he was and that he was a one man company, and we scheduled a time for him to come out. He came listed to my story and then did what none of the other guys did..grabbed a shovel and dug a hole so that he could see what was going on. He found the leak, explained just about every possible scenario, and told us what we needed to do.

(There are a lot of other parts and circumstances to this story that led to Bill not doing the actual work but he has called and texted and checked in every step of the way.)

Bill is truly skilled in his trade and, as he explained to me, is just wanting to do a good job, give the customer what they want, and not in it for the ""sell"". He will definitely be my go to plumber for whatever I need around the house or for when the rest of the galvanized pipe gives way!

Bill Johnson is amazing! We had peter levi come to our house for a clogged sink and it was $1,000 for them to do that job and It did not even clear the clog. They stated it was not fixable and it was a $10,000 job to dig new pipes etc. A good friend told us about Bill. He then came, snaked the drain with in the hour and it has been good ever since. You know those honest people you do not try to rip you off and get the job done? That's Bill Johnson!

I am fortunate to have Bill as a neighbor. As I was going for a walk with my son, we stopped and chatted with Bill. I asked for him to take a look at my hose bib (front yard spigot) that had a continuous leak and was growing some serious funk. He came down a short while later and was able to explain the problem and suggest an easy and inexpensive solution! (I had no idea that the various metals used in plumbing could be incompatible!) He had to saw the whole thing and put in a new, fresh spigot. I would have thought it would have been a few hundred dollars and several hours. However, his quote came well under what I expected, he only took about an hour and it looks fantastic! My husband and I were thrilled with the work!

Bill is a great guy and I will definitely be calling him for any other work in the future!
