What a wonderful company!! I had an emergency, called several places, they were the first to show up. Did the work, cleaned up very nicely, didn't even made a mess really. Very nice, professional, I will use them again if needed. I highly recommend this company!!!

Bill Blankenship sent someone out to quote my job. I declined the offer as it was out of our budget at this time and informed Bill I've received another quote that is less than his. He immediately raised his voice and asked "then why did I waste his time having him send someone out here?" I said "doing my due diligence as a homeowner and looking for the best price for us" he then became irate and said that he quoted me a good price and I again disagreed and he reiterated that I shouldn't be wasting his time like this. I'm sure that companies do not get a 100% acceptance rate on their quotes but Bill was very angry and continued yelling at me so I told him I would be sure and leave this review. This is when he started cussing at me and threatening to sue me and spend the money trying to do something to me. Maybe sue me again? He said I was a chicken shit and didn't care if I left a review but if I did he was coming after me. I don't think Angi or anyone else should associate or do business with this man or anything he is affiliated with. I called Angi customer service to file a complaint and they did not see any urgency in this matter. Angi is supposed to vet these people and hold them to a certain standard. Now I have to be concerned about an angry irrational man that has my home address all thanks to Angi. I was told by Ang that I would get a call back in a day or two and this may take a month or so to resolve because this is simply their process. Angi continued to fail to see the urgency of the matter or realize their possible liability. Take this for what its worth fellow consumers, users of Angi and anyone that comes in contact with Bill Blankenship, Bill Blankenship Contracting, or Bill Blankenship Plumbing

Bill answered my inquiry and his crew completed the repair before any other contractor responded to me. Of course I had a serious leak under the foundation just before Thanksgiving. Bill's crew was able to locate the leak and make the repairs.
I found my new plumbing contractor! I own multiple properties in the Fort Wort area. I also renovate about one property per year. Bill is my new go to plumber.

After the thaw after the hard freeze, Feb., 2023, we noticed saturated ground outside our house. The first plumber sent a man who spoke almost no English, refused to answer questions, and charged me $80. I called Bill Blankenship. He came out almost immediately with a helper. They decided that there was 2 - 3 leaks under the slab. We decided that the saturated ground froze, expanded, and pinched the pipe under the slab. I could have them tunnel to the leak(s), or have the house re-plumbed with plastic but at a higher cost. I decided to have it re-plumbed. The USAA adjuster agreed with the price, the workers were courteous and competent, and repairs were made to all of the holes made in the sheetrock. Also, he replaced 2 toilets and checked on his help every few hours and inspected their work. He was courteous and gave me advice about the work being done. It was a large project, and I was only out the deductible on my policy.

Winter storm disaster February 2021, North Texas. I got a quote from this business for the installation of a tankless hot water heater that I was going to provide. I had gotten other 4 other quotes in the $350-$500 range. The installation was universally stated as being a "1 hr job" of switching out a tankless unit for the exact same model. $350 is more than any usual hourly rate for a plumber, but I get it, a major shortage of plumbers, and customers in need get a bit of a premium fee. I called Bill Blankenship Contracting and their office manager advised their installation fee for the water heater is currently going for $1,500. Thats $1,500 per hour (assuming an hour job. $750/hr for two hr job) to just install (not the cost of the actual unit) an item that allows suffering people to clean their bodies, dishes, and soiled clothes. If their normal rate was $1,500 per hour, then they would never be in business because no one would ever pay that for any home service. My opinion is that they are taking advantage of a Presidentially declared state of emergency by making their service insanely inflated at the expense of those that are in desperate need. I assure you their business will not be charging $1500/hr. after this initial desperation subsides. Price gouging at its' finest. Needless to say I went with another plumber this time and for future needs as well.

Absolutely horrible craftsmanship. Bill charges a premium prices and delivers low end work. I hired him to do an extensive remodel of my master bedroom and I regret it every time I look at it. Horrible paint job, bad carpentry, and sloppy tile work. His crew has no business doing finish work of any kind. When you point out the obvious workmanship issues he becomes belligerent and makes little effort to correct problems. You will be doing your own quality control as he makes little effort to do so on your behalf. I ended up having paying him out and finishing the job myself because he cannot or will not engage qualified tradesmen.

Bill Blankenship and his company replaced our original one piece shower insert with a beautiful, high quality tiled shower. Bill and his team are professional, hard-working and punctual. Bill did a wonderful job explaining everything about the project from start to finish, and answered all our questions and concerns. The project was completed in a timely manner without sacrificing quality.

This was our first experience with a house remodel and working with a contractor and we couldn't be happier. We will definitely use Bill Blankenship Contracting again!
