I was hopeful about Big Tuna Plumbing based on the previous reviews. However, they have no follow through. I called, established a time the same week to meet for a quote. The quote was for two bathrooms remodels more than a month away. The work required about a 1/2 days work. Big Tuna Plumbing was professional, helpful and friendly during the discussion and said he would email me a quote in a couple days. A week later, I texted him to inquire about the quote and he responded back several hours later that he ""didn't think he could do it."" When I asked why, I never received a response. Don't get me wrong, I have no issue if you have to cancel, but it should not take the customer inquiring to find out that you can no longer perform the work as promised.

We had Big Tuna plumber install our new jet tub. We are very happy with the work Harland did and highly recommend him to all our family and friends. We have called him on several occasions and he always shows up on time and doesn't leave until the job is done RIGHT.

Harlan Brown is a great Plumber. He came out the same day and provided a very reasonable estimate. He came back the next day and completed the job as promised. He was friendly and professional and didn't gouge us with hourly charges. He is a small company, but that also brings you personalized service. I have also used Big Tuna for my real estate business when selling properties. You will be happy that you went with Big Tuna Plumbing!

This is my third time writing about our service with Big Tuna Plumbing and again, we are so fortunate, pleased and happy with Harland's service, unbelievable honesty, fairness, meticulousness, and desire to do a more than a good job, but a superb job. At our condo, the board of directors required many units to fix up their plumbing if inspectors found leaking or frozen valves, pipes, faucets, etc. We immediately called Harland from Big Tuna Plumbing as we had to change out a number of valves and leaks. He gave us an estimate for the job thinking it would be quick. It wasn't, and he was extraordinarily gracious and apologetic about the extra time it took. The job took longer than expected as he had to refit, saw, and reconfigure many of the 43 year old pipes, fittings, valves, and faucets. It wasn't a replace the valves and leave. It took a lot of work, hard labor, and time. If you watch him, he doesn't waste any motions or tries to rack up hours but focuses and gets each part of his job done as quickly, cleanly, and professionally as he can. For the record, he's the only plumber we've hired (and we've tried many) who actually cleans up and puts things back as he finds them . . . as he goes and most definitely before he leaves. Even my grumpy mom (over 90 years old), who lives in our condo, took an immediate liking to Harland for his kindness and truly sincere willingness to do a good job at a fair price. As he's done whenever we've called him, he responded quickly, he was prompt, humble, so very courteous, and hard working. Everything works fine now. and we're good to go THANKS TO HARLAND and BIG TUNA PLUMBING. Thanks Harland! Please keep up the good work. If Yelp had a 10 star rating, he would get 10 stars from us without a question.
