My mom is preparing to file a small claims action against Big Mike's since they refuse to refund her money after not being able to fix her plumbing issue twice and trying to charge her extra to ""fix"" an issue that should have been determined from the first inspection. This company is either incompetent or scammers.

Their conduct and other reviews on here have led me to believe that this could be an ordinary business practice of theirs. So if you feel you have been treated the same, please contact me at [email protected], and we will consider a class action against them.

When we tried to recover a refund for my mother, their employee Chris tried to intimidate my family with threatening behavior and violent language, so much so that my family feared continuing service with Big Mike's. Furthermore, their receptionist Amanda refused to assist me and hung up on me. The owners didn't even have the decency to call me back after we left messages for them regarding their employees' unacceptable behavior.

As a Marine, disabled combat vet, I expected more from a veteran owned company. I didn't expect them to take advantage of my elderly and low income mother.

Do us a favor Big Mike's, and take the ""Veteran Owned Business"" off of your website since your business practice is unbecoming a veteran. The operation of your business is disgraceful and gives us veterans a bad name. We have more honor and integrity than what your business displayed.

We were very pleased with Big Mike's. We had another plumber fix a leak but the company didn't do cement. I called Big Mike's and they gladly came to finish the job at a price that was drastically cheaper than the last company. Albert was wonderful! He came out and worked tirelessly, even on July the 4th to make sure our job was done. The price was perfect and they communicated well. The city inspector said it was the best he had seen. Thanks!

The staff throughout the company is very helpful and hard working. The answer any questions you have and explain what they are going to be doing in detail. They do an amazing job for any service you need, I wouldn't go to any other company. The pricing is very reasonable and affordable for everyone. The only place to go for plumbing is Big Mike's!

My wife called them to get a quote on our leaking toilet, the plumber flushed it and looked inside the toilet and told her that it's not the toilet, it's the pipes, and then charged us 250 to send a camara down the next day. Only to tell us that we need to spend 2500 + and have pipes redone.. So so we called our friend who is a los Angeles contactor / inspector to verify the video they sent us. And he said everything is fine and they are trying to scam us and our insurance company. And then he fixed the toilet by replacing the wax ring.. ( that's all that was wrong the whole time )

I am looking into leagle help to get our money back from these com artist. I will update soon.

Called Big Mike's for a slow drain. Dispatched technician called me within 10 minutes. George arrived 15 minutes later and was really friendly. George snaked out my washroom drains (×2) to the main. He gave me a couple tips for ongoing maintenance. Again George was friendly and professional and I would not hesitate to recommend. They give free estimates and the price for the job was fair.

They put in a camera and saw roots growing into my main line and had to fix it by getting a new clean out. That was big bucks and I didn't have the cash, so unfortunately that's why I've had to use them 3 times over the last couple of years. Today I'm finally able to get the big fix. Hoping this is this end the problem.
Every time they come they are nice and professional. Christian is very polite. He explains what he is going to do and makes sure you understand before doing the work. Christian remembered the work he did on my house more than 6 months ago and wants to make sure you are satisfied.

Called Big Mikes due to a clogged kitchen sink and was given excellent service provided by Ezequiel today!!! He was very knowledgeable and prompt! Would definitely recommend this company!
