A few weeks ago, I discovered that my yard was completely flooded due to an underground busted pipe. It had been that way for over two weeks. I called, and big John and his crew came out the next day. I was charged the service rate per hour plus parts. The total came to less than $400. I thought I had finally found my plumber. Then, last week, I called because one of my toilets was leaking, and I had a running leak in my bathtub, meaning the water never shut off completely. In the toilet area, it was discovered that I needed the insides changed out, which okay that wears out often. The crew that came out gave me a quote of $250. Which is totally ridiculous, I can buy the parts at home depot, which I did, for $24. Now here's the part that really hurt my heart, my bathtub. His guys told me that the fixture was too old and he wouldn't be able to find the parts. So I would need to get a new fixture but to do that he said he would need to tear open the wall and replace the pipes and then install new fixtures all for $690. Of course I said NO! I watched a YouTube video, took apart the fixtures, all it needed was a washer and seat screw. I was able to fix all three handles for $17 and that included tools. So, I don't know if this was just the crew that came out that time or what, but big John wasn't with them that time. I'm not sure if this made a difference or not but I definitely am disappointed. Unfortunately, my search for a new plumber is back on.

Highly recommend. We had a water line leak under our driveway, and John & crew came out quickly (and right on time) and did a great job at a very reasonable price. It's the second time we've used them, and very satisfied with both experiences. Will definitely be calling for all our future plumbing needs.

We just purchased a new house and one of the toilets flushed strangely. After getting the run around from several other plumbers we finally found Big John's Plumbing and I am so glad that we did! They fit us in very quickly and charged us a very reasonable rate. The workmen who came were very nice and cleaned up everything beautifully when they were done working. We will definitely use Big John for any future plumbing needs!

Big John's Plumbing use to be a good company but now their price is much higher than before and their service is getting worse. I'm not sure if Big John does the work himself anymore. He sent an inexperienced young guy to fix our tub drain. This guy was not well trained. He didn't put a blanket to cover the work area. He was very careless and threw a hammer and other tools on the tub. He caused a big chip on our tub while he was doing the repair. Now we have to spend another $300 to have the bathtub refinished. I will never use this company again.

Roberto is the best. My hot water heater went out and even though Big John was not in town, Roberto came and checked out the problem. He was very very busy, but still made time to get me a hot water heater the next day. They are a little more pricey, but well worth it. Plumbing is usually an emergency and Big John's Plumbing make it their emergency. Best plumbers in Pearland!

Big John's is great. Texted me the night before stating their time of arrival the next morning. They were right on time and installed a cut off valve for us. Very professional, quality parts and a very fair price. You can't go wrong with Big John's. They also flip houses and are able to take care of most things needed around the house or outside.

Have used this company 3 or 4 times on my old house and they always fix it up quick and correctly. They let you know what is wrong and what they will do to fix it. They don't pressure you into doing more than is necessary. Always a friendly and fast crew. Best around!

My elderly father needed plumbing assistance. He is in So. Cal while I live in the Seattle area. I called Big John's Plumbing to see if they can help him and they were able to schedule an appointment within a couple days! My father was very appreciative he received a message from them, saying who would be coming over to do the work, including a picture of the technician. That is very thoughtful and professional! (added security for our elderly!) Ramone, the technician, was very helpful, friendly and did, what my dad called, "above and beyond" what he expected. Big John is the bomb. I called after being given a run around 2 days from my home warranty not wanting to do warranty work, he saw my pictures, fit me in, and was finished in 30 minutes for a fair, reasonable price. Plus they wore masks!

We had an emergency situation (bathroom was flooding because of a blockage in our sewage pipes caused by tree roots) and BJP was able to get someone out to us within 2 hours of calling. It took them 10-15 minutes to fix everything! He took some photos and showed me the roots and what was happening, he also gave advice on how to prevent it in the future (a new pipe) and when I asked him he gave me an estimate of what that would cost.

I loved that he was helpful, friendly, didn't try and sell me on anything, but instead educated me, and fixed our immediate problem in a pinch at 7pm on a Sunday night.

I will definitely be using Big John's for any of my future plumbing needs.
