5 stars for a plumber? I'm as shocked as you are! Yes, this firm is great. They are responsive, show up on time, get the job done in a professional manner. When we called with an issue, they tried to schedule us with the teams they had out on the road. They followed up to let us know their status. Tried to diagnose over the phone to help us fix it. Simply being organized and having good customer service puts Big City Plumbing way ahead of all other plumbers. Sadly they no longer serve Brooklyn.

NAVIENT BOILER REPLACEMENT

These guys are the best in the city. I needed my boiler replaced in Brooklyn and was a bit nervous because the previous plumber did a horrible job installing it. Mike, the owner was transparent with me with cost. Let me know my options and allowed me to decide the best route based on my budget. Benny, the plumber who handled the job was amazing. He knew what he was doing and cleaned up after the job was completed. Super professional. I would recommend them to anyone.

Thanks to Big City Plumbing, we have heat and hot water, our previous contractor installed our combo heat and hot water unit and it was a mess, a unit that was suppose to last up to 15 years failed in 4 years because they did not install it correctly putting us out of a good chunk of change. But we found Big City Plumbing and it was a complete difference, Edwin was the first person sent out by Big City Plumbing, and to me first impression counts, Edwin was so knowledgeable of the system we needed and the best way to install it, he was polite, friendly and very professional, with that we decided to go with Big City Plumbing and some days later Edwin, Benny and Shawn came to do the new install, again professionalism all the way, friendliness all the way, we could not have been happier with the choice we made of going with Big City Plumbing, they put up our new combo heat and hot water until and streamline our pipings, originally we had pips going all whichever way, but now there was way less pipes and it was neat and cohesive. Thank you so much Also to Mike and Diane at Big City Plumbing for all the help and advise given you have a friend in us and I'll shout you all name to the roof top, I will refer you to everybody, everybody. Only work needed or requested by you is what you will receive. The quality of the work is exceptional and your home will be respected by the crew. Benny is a tech-savvy plumber, familiar with today's technology and your equipment will be dialed-in as it should be for the highest efficiency. If you find a lower price, you will not be getting the same job.
When you call,you will likely be greeted by Diane. She is very personable and will guide you in the right direction. Your calls will always be returned. This is a business model that should be emulated by all contractors. Honesty and quality.

We are so, so happy that we chose Big City Plumbing to install our new burner unit. In our new-old home (1800's Victorian), we knew the clunker of an oil burner wasn't going to cut it for the coming winter, so we called around for quotes on an efficient gas unit, since we had gas coming into the house already. All prices were fairly similar, but the way the company's owner Mike spoke about the Navien unit we wanted made us feel like these guys really know what they're taking about.

And that they do. Of course one hopes for a perfect transition to new home fixtures, but such is seldom the case. The day before New Year's Eve, we had an error message come up on the burner which shut the system down. The manual gave us a clue as to what the problem was, so we called Mike and explained what was going on, and he sent two guys down 3 hours later to make it right. They identified the issue and fixed it properly, remaining as friendly and courteous as always.

The next day, by coincidence, a wire shorted to one of our thermostats (blame the old house again) and even on New Year's Eve, at 2pm, Mike himself came over to fix the problem and see that we rung in the new year with a properly heated home.

I highly recommend this company, as their work and customer service has exceeded our already high expectations.
