Big B's was recommended to me by a water mitigation company as I needed to have the water heater and HVAC unit removed and upgraded in my property. I was immediately impressed by the excellent communication and thoroughness from Big B's team. I appreciated the various options provided to me for work that was needed to be done and the sincere recommendations. The work was completed in incredible fashion. I greatly appreciate Big B's and highly recommend them!!

Getting estimates for a re-pipe of my entire home, went to their website to schedule an estimate which had a dead link and didn't allow me to book an appointment. Contacted them by phone was on hold for several minutes and was disconnected. Later, I received a call back and was advised the estimate would cost me $59! Who the hell charges for an estimate for such a large project. Too many red flags, we will be moving on.

Absolutely ridiculous. I specifically tell them I have a solar water heater on my roof that heats my jacuzzi. Can they remove and reinstall? The young lady on the phone checks and assures me they could. Spend the whole day waiting and the tech calls at 2. Asks me if it's a solar water heater for a jacuzzi first thing. I say yes and send pics. He than tells me they cannot do it because they thought it was a solar assist unit for our home water heater. I say then why did you tell me exactly what it was when you called? He says I'm sorry man I'm just a tech. Wasted a whole day at home on these guys. Dishonest and unprofessional . If your tech is Jesse get ready for excuses...

We have used these guys multiple times and they were generally good, though very expensive. I figured I was paying a premium for premium work.

The last issue we had involving our sewer line that connects to the main in the street. We paid a lot of money for the scope to be done. They said it would be recorded, and if I wanted a copy, they would provide it. I didn't need that recording at that time, but later requested it two times and was completely ignored. All other requests for new estimates, etc., they provided quickly, but not the scope recording. Complete crickets.

Back up a little bit, I asked them to come out to fix our clogged sink and the piping underneath, then to provide us their opinion about our sewer line. The purpose of the visit was to take care of the sink that we could no longer use.

Their tech came out and immediately went for the big bucks.... He wanted to check out the sewer line right away. I thought it was going to be a quick check but then he pushed to get a scope done, etc. etc.

After talking us into a scope, he became very pushy with trying to get us to do $17,000 worth of work on the sewer line. Extremes salesy and pushy. After a couple hours of trying to see if there was anyway we can afford it, which we could not at the time, he then said he or someone else would come back another day to take care of the kitchen sink. I was furious and he knew it. The clogged sink was the reason for him to come out, but he got so fixated on the big money that he didn't realize that we needed to use our kitchen sink. He ended up leaving our house and having someone else come out to fix our sink. What a complete joke.

I will never use them.

We asked around and got lots of recommendations. Andersen Plumbing came out and gave us their opinion, and it was vastly different than what Big B was suggesting.

In the end, Big B's silence was the ultimate deal killer even though that encounter with their salesman should have been the last straw.

Big B's did a ""repair"" for me, only for it to break again 6 days later. When I asked for them to come back and fix their work, the manager claimed he would have to charge me again because there is ""no warranty"". Like...it's 6 DAYS later. This company's a scam.

Water heater was making noise. Ryan came out same day and pointed out the problem. He gave a quick estimate and also found another issue in need of repair. Great service and excellent quality of work.

Had Big B's out last week to service our tankless water heater that was still under parts warranty. They contacted the manufacturer and agreed upon a diagnosis and repair plan (replacing the check valve). The technician provided a quote for nearly $700 in labor to replace the $6 plastic valve. When I declined, they requoted for about $360. Since we knew this was an easy fix, declined the service and had another licensed plumber replace the part. Took the new guy 5-10 minutes.
Big B's Plumbing did not act ethically and tried to gouge us. Steer clear of them.

Set up a call on Saturday for a leaking toilet. I was scheduled for Monday in the afternoon timeframe. I waited the entire day, and at 4:43 pm, I get a call they won't be able to make the service call today. When I called back, 4:45pm, they had already rolled the phones to the answering service.

Very irritating to waste an entire day. Even more infuriating they waited until the last minute to say they would not make it.

Called last night, explained in detail the issue, they said a tech would be out after 8 AM when they got in. after 10 they texted they would be here ""sometime"". After a follow-up call I found out they pushed my small job back for a large AM call. Called other plumber and will get same day service. Don't bother calling this place if you need help, they look for big jobs not family homes.
