It's taken me a few days to decide I want to write this. Just simply because I cannot believe the horrendous mess that was made of a simple job. I called because my water softener was leaking. So the man who came out, Brandon, from the beginning seemed like a nice man. He explained a high pressure water situation and that because of the high psi of my water, my softener probably blew an o-ring. His company needed to charge me 1200 dollars to fix the water pressure (replace the regulator valve and the o ring) I knew from the beginning that was far too high but also felt in a tight space and agreed to do the work but only for 1000 dollars otherwise I'd call a relative to help. Brandon agreed to stop my leak and replace my regulator. The regulator took about 10 min to replace. I had to help him by turning on and off water inside but the work was done. Now that's about 500 dollars an hour or more but.. ok. Apparently he didn't have a proper o- ring and needed to come back but then my softener would stop leaking. Unfortunately he said he needed to get the manufacturers o ring part. So I agreed to wait a few days for that work to be done. In the interim - waited a day and received a phone call. He states 'so I can put this o ring on but- that might not be the problem and if it still leaks, then I will have to charge you an additional 300 dollars to come back. Now this becomes a bait and switch situation. He does a job I never wanted - replace the regulator. But the job I called him out for does not get done and he leaves it a leaky mess UNLESS I give him a lot of extra money. So although the agreement was that my softener would get fixed USING A SIMPLE O- Ring he now has put me at 1300 dollars!!!! For an o- ring to fix a simple leak. I regret spending money here. I did refuse to give them the extra bait and switch Money they required of me and just gave them the original price they charged for the regulator which was 700 dollars. For a cheap mid grade regulator - about a hundred dollars, and 10 min of time installing. Live and learn. But don't be scammed. The original price they give you for a job blows up into another enormous price and they start to ask for more and more money before they complete the simple task you asked them for. I can't believe my simple small leak requiring an o-ring somehow blew up into 1300 dollars. Charging 600 for an o - ring replacement plus 700 for a cheap regulator is unconscionable - I'd be embarrassed to work there or own that business.

We were told that we had top of the line faucets. They were in fact base line faucets. The overcharged us by at least 3 to 4 times the value of what it should have cost. They had to come back because it was loose. I would not trust them!

There is absolutely ZERO customer service from any employee we've dealt with at Big B's Plumbing. We were quoted $700 to $900 to repipe and change out a shower head and handle. It cost us $945 dollars to do the work which was leaking behind the wall as well as from the brand new shower head immediately. Before Jessie the plumber drove away we noticed the leak from the shower head. He hadn't used any plumbing tape, simple fix. However in the process of fixing his lazy mistake he completely gouged my brand new Koehler fixture. He took a wrench straight to the fixture itself. Big B employees are lazy and careless. My husband then found the leak behind the wall a couple days after the work was done and spoke to a supervisor, Steven, who did not care. They sent a new technician named Ryan to fix that leak who then scratched the arm of the fixture because he didn't have a plumbers strap and once again took a wrench to it. These plumbers are unprepared and sloppy and frankly rude. Do not use Big B's Plumbing. You'll regret it.

Way to expensive. 15 mins of work to remove calcium deposit cost $370 and not a single part was replaced. On the bright side Technician was very professional.

I wanted to preface that the technician was good. But overall, this company feels like they overcharge. I asked a manager to call back to obtain an itemized breakdown. No call back was ever placed. I would stay away from this company as they do not appear to value their customers.

They arrived quickly on a Saturday and efficiently solved the issue for us. Juan was professional and skilled at his job. I would definitely recommend and use them again (although I hope I don't need them lol). I am very happy with the service and the price was reasonable. Juan was also very polite.

Yesterday my husband and I contacted Big B's Plumbing. Technician (Mathew Long) was dispatched immediately and was at my home in Winchester, Ca within an hour. He was very professional, prompt, honest and was very knowledgeable. He diagnosed and fixed the issue within minutes. I will only use this company from now on and would recommend them to everybody and anybody that is in need of a plumbing service.

Plumbing work was great. Pricing was not fair or reasonable.

They charged us $1,051.62 to provide and install a garbage disposal. No breakdown of material or labor was provided. Technician worked 1.5 hours on the job.

We called three times to get an explanation but no calls back. So customer service is bad too I guess. Anyway if you use these guys get a written estimate of labor and material with hourly rates so you don't get ripped off too.

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE.
The plumber that was sent out was completely unprofessional with zero customer service. He didn't acknowledge half of the things that were said to him, could have been having a bad day I guess. When presented with the issue he did not take anything apart and just diagnosed the problem which ended up not being the problem at all. At the end of the day I was quoted quadruple what it actually cost to fix it. So basically I paid $60 for a plumber to come stand in my shower for 15 minutes and give me a ridiculous quote. I also called twice about this issue to see if we could resolve it without leaving a bad review, it's been 2 weeks with no response.

I will start with the positives. Came out quickly, gave us a great sales pitch.
The bad, I should have gotten another quote. I did afterwards and found we got ripped off. Another company would have done this $6000 project for less than half! On top of it they didn't even comeback to clean up there mess or finish the asphalt they said they would! Do not use this company! We had a great experience first time but not this time. Here is the mess they left.
