They did work for me about a year ago. They were friendly and competent. I would have given them a 5-Star rating here, too.

But I have an issue with them: the disposer they installed is extremely sub-standard. It was only fair to begin with but has become much worse over time. This morning it took more than five minutes to grind six lemons. It gets duller by the day, it seems. I'd call that sub-standard, and I'm sure I paid top dollar for it, too.

Simply the best in Omaha. Had a pesky leak at our home and they were out in no time with a simple fix. Could have gone with a much more expensive ""fix"" since I'm not an expert, but they said this repair would do the job. Also had a plumbing emergency at our office and they were out the very next day to assess and to come up with the right solution.

This plumbing company is the worst company I've ever done business with. They never completed the job and did not refund me the money I paid them. The plumber they sent out was a real jerk.

Big Birge put in a new water line for us and did an amazing job with this extensive project. In fact, the already involved job got even lengthier due to a severe weather day and a surprise buried set of concrete stairs that the team discovered in our yard and that was directly in their path! Despite the obstacles Brad and his team faced, they were professional and prompt throughout, plus they held true to the contracted price, despite the setbacks, which we so appreciated. From customer service to craftsmanship, we were 100% impressed with Big Birge and highly recommend them!

I love their process! Very professional. They laid down a cover over my hard wood so they wouldn't track in anything from the outside and I believe Brad, the owner, wore booties over his shoes when venturing onto my carpet. That's one thing that I truly appreciated and took note of as i'm quite OCD when it comes to keeping my house clean. That small part of their process stuck out even more to me when an electrician came over 30 minutes after Big Birge Plumbing had left. The electrician had kept his shoes on and tracked dirt all over my hard wood. Something as small as that shows you the maturation process that some companies have to go through before they get to the professional ""WE GET IT"" level that Big Birge Plumbing is clearly at. More over, Brad was brilliant in explaining his work, why he was doing it, and addressed all of my concerns. I think they're great and quite frankly, refreshing to do business with. Brad, you can come service our property any day!

We will always go with Big Birge whenever we need a plumbing fix! They did a great job installing a shower in our basement but what really sealed the deal was when they came out on a weekend to do a job that we were quoted for $2,300 from another company - BB was able to do it for $990! Lesson learned - we'll save ourselves the service call fee from other companies and just go with Big Birge from the start.

Great company, would recommend to anyone needing plumbing work done. All the employees from owner to installation crew were great. Everyone was personable and friendly. The guys that came to our house were joking with the kids and very professional. The guys did their work with very little disruption to our normal schedule. They made sure their working area was clean and looking the same, if not better, then when they entered. Great company, great employees!

I have confidence in their work. The writing ""we are bringing the value back"" on the truck was intriguing when i saw them at my tightwad neighbors house. Unfortunately it was misleading. I had a minor leak in an upstairs bathroom sink. It was an easy fix but I didn't have the tools to do it. Would've cost less than $20 to fix it myself. But instead I called Big Birge on a Monday morning. The owner Brad was very nice on the phone, he had two of his guys come out around noon that day, which was awesome. They were pros, they fixed the problem in 20 minutes tops, also awesome. Unfortunately it cost me $157! The rate is $135/hr for a technician with helper, and you always pay for at least one hour. I would trust these guys with bigger jobs (perhaps that is the kind of business they are targeting) but for your every day ordinary handyman fixes you're going to pay way too much!

I can not recommend these guys enough. I called and spoke to Brad on the phone to get a quote for replacing a washer hookup and moving a water line for my new fridge. He got out there within a day or two to actually get us the quote, then scheduled one of his guys to actually perform the work just a few days after that.

Carlos (the guy that did the work) was awesome. He offered to wear booties on his shoes even though our house is completely demolished for a remodel right now. He got the work done quickly, it looks great, and he didn't leave a mess when he was done. Best of all, it ended up costing less than what we thought it was going to cost.

Seriously, stop wasting time with Burton or whoever else - call Big Birge. They're fantastic.
